It's LIVE!! http://bit.ly/2vjFMG8

Release Date: August 24, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Sports Romance
POV: Dual - 1st person
Heat: 3.5 out of 5
Type: Standalone - Book 1 of the Men of Tyee series

I’ve never read anything from Jami Davenport before and so it was easy to go into this with absolutely no expectations. I didn’t check out any of the advance reviews and went in thinking this would be a light, fluffy, sexy and easy romance read. Boy, was I ever wrong. Not that this wasn’t sexy and romantic, but it definitely wasn’t light or fluffy and the characters most definitely didn’t have things easy.

After a traumatic experience that they both shared, Riley and Tiff bonded and secretly fell in love. And when I say secretly, I mean she knew that he loved her, but he didn’t know that she also loved him. Get it? The night of high school grad, they finally came together physically and it was an existential experience, at least from Riley’s POV. That is until the next morning when Tiff is nowhere to be found. See, she hightailed it to California, never to be heard or seen from again. Until three years later when she shows up enrolled at the same college as Riley. Now that she’s back, he has no intention of letting her go. But can he get past her concrete walls and show her that they can be each other’s forever?

I didn’t like Tiff. There, I said it. My opinion of her did improve by the end, but not in any dramatic way. I went from “I hate this chick SO MUCH” to “Well, she ain’t half bad”. I guess my affection for her all depended on how she treated Riley because RILEY WAS PHENOMENAL!! I get why Tiff had her walls and fears and hangups, but if anyone had a reason or right or privilege to have those, it would be Riley. This young man had it hard and I was so happy that his life was just steadily improving day by day. This author created a sweetheart of a character when it came to Riley and he was beyond easy to fall in love with. So when, at every instance, he was throwing himself and opening his heart to this ungrateful wretch, who kept turning him aside and hurting him at every turn, my heart went out to him and my fists clenched to hit her.

So now that I’ve read this story, you better believe I’ll be staying tuned for what’s next in this series. I have to know how Gabe fares and I hope there’s a book for him in the future. And I hope to see Riley again too.

Sacked in Seattle is the kind of story that draws you in from the first. Riley and Tiffani live a journey that is built on emotion. From heartache to guilt these characters are haunted by a history that is as tragic as their ever burning love. Tissues required. Once the trip begins, it's hard to walk away until the end.

Oh I love to read Jami Davenport's Sport Romance Novels! I was so excited to start the Men of Tyee book with Sacked in Seattle. I squealed with joy when I found out the book was Riley and Tiff's story! They are all grown up now! Even though Riley never stopped loving Tiff, he didn't realize that they are still broken. Riley may feel that he has healed from a dreadful day from his past, but did not realize he was broken way before then.

Tiff is trying to live day by day. She tries to move forward but has not really let go of the past. When she comes back into Riley's life, I was shocked of the little support she got from his family. No one really wanted her to be around him. This story was so different on so many levels, but for a heroine to have to redeem herself was something different. It's always the male that is the a*hole, but this time around it was Tiff. Slowly Riley made Tiff open up and we saw her for her true self. She was amazing.

Sacked in Seattle caught my eye with football, college days, and love that never dies. The drama that these characters go through was stomach twisting. I am predicting the next book of the series will about Riley's best friend Gage. There was a story building up on the sidelines and I can hear Gage saying he will be back. This series can be addicting for me.

Sacked in Seattle is a book you want to have on your shelf!

Riley Black had problems as a teenager, his mother abandoned him, a tragedy occurred while in high school and the girl he loved running away. But he moved on, did some growing up and was now one of the stars of the local college football team. He had it all and was enjoying the perfect life…that was until one night when a ghost from his past appeared. While at a college party imagine his surprise when Riley saw Tiff there and realized that he had never stopped loving her. Now he just had to convince Tiff that it was not just a high school crush, but true love. Would he have the patience and understanding for her constantly pushing him away?

Tiffani Vernon had struggles in her teenage years, ones that you would not wish on your worst enemy. They all hit her so hard that she believed if she ran away from Seattle, then everything would stay there and she could move on. But nothing was as far from the truth, especially when she was forced to come back for financial reasons and finish her final college year at the same one as Riley. A boy she had not just secretly crushed on but loved and hidden it all away when the tragedy occurred. When he saw her, she ran again but Riley was persistent and would not let her run away from him again.

There was just one more problem at hand…. neither one of them realized that in order to truly move on in their future, heal properly, and have this relationship a success is that EVERYTHING that had happened in their past had to be out in the open. No more secrets for either of them...

This is a unique book as not only is it a stand alone but it is a continuation of one series while starting up of another. In true Jami Davenport’s fashion it is an attention grabbing, full impact book that you do not want to put down until you are done with it. The characters, the location, the story, all come together perfectly. Definitely one you want to add to your collection.

Sacked in Seattle was the first book in the Men of Tyee series by Jami Davenport. The series was a spin off of the Game On In Seattle series.

Riley Black was the nephew to Cooper Black in Crashing the Net. We met him previously when he was still a child. He had a tough childhood until he found his way to his uncle, a professional hockey player in Seattle. Unfortunately when he was in high school, he was involved in a school mass shooting by a former team mate where several of his friends and teammates lost their lives. Fast forward several years and he was now a senior at Tyee College, where he was playing football.

Tiffany Vernon just transferred to Tyee. She purposely left the area she grew up so she could leave the tragedy of high school behind. Her ex-boyfriend was one of the shooters and she never really healed. However family circumstances brought her back to Seattle for financial reasons.

I loved the premise of the story and had been waiting for Riley's story for a long time. Riley and Tiffany had history and both had crushed on each other; until Tiffany continued to struggle with the shooting. It was a sweet story with little to no angst. The real angst was in Crashing the Net but Davenport did portray the lasting affects of the tragedy and how it continued to impact their lives years after the event as well as addressing a few carryover items from their childhood. Unfortunately it was slow to get off the ground and remained that way throughout until the very end. I was craving a little more excitement.

In the end, it was a sweet start to a new series. Davenport gave us some teasers for the next book, Tackled in Seattle, between Gage and Alisa. I look forward to where Davenport takes us then.

Can’t deal with the (un)reasoning in this plot.
I understand people deal with stress and problems in different ways. But saying you didn’t “end everything”(suicide) because your love for a horse (I am not saying animals are not important)? And not thinking about your family? People who cared about you? How selfish and ungrateful a person can be? And treat the hero as if he was the shooter at the school cafeteria? Like somehow it was his fault when he was her savior? That’s bs. She acts as if she was the only one at the cafeteria. Like she was the only one affected by the circumstances. Just because the shooter was your boyfriend and you didn’t see it, you didn’t read on him before? Get over yourself. Don’t treat people like disposable items because you can’t deal with your problems.
I have zero sympathy for this heroine. I think her struggling and heartache are fabricated. The plot is not convincing. This thing of “I am a broken soul and I will bring him down with me, I am going to shatter him with my sober pathetic existence “ is so lame.
The guy was there with you. He knows exactly how traumatic the event was.
I’d better stop reading this when I think the fmc should have taken that bullet.
And I am not sorry for being a cold, hard soul bitch. I will not read a book that is using this sad, horrible, devastating thing that’s happening so often in the real world destroying families and lives just to create drama and pull on our heart strings. It only makes me annoyed.

Wow, I absolutely loved this book from start to finish, I was totally hooked from the first page and read it in one sitting. This is the start of a new series and I seriously cannot wait to read the rest of it! I have to say that this is the author's best book so far. This story is Riley and Tiff's, they had feelings for each other in high school but a tragedy ripped them apart. Tiff tried running away but now she is back and has to face the past to be able to move forward. What she wasn't expecting was Riley, he's always loved her, she ripped his heart out previously but he's not going to let her do it again. Can they both face demons from their past, move on and give love a go? You will have to read to find out!!

This book really does take you on a roller coaster of emotions, you follow Tiff and Riley through heartbreak, acceptance and love, their path isn't a smooth one but I was rooting for them from the start, keep tissues handy as you will need them.

Riley and Tiff have a history that people there age shouldn't have. Since high school they have loved one another yet couldn't be together because of their tragic past. Riley didn't have the issue Tiff did! This book is full of laughs, drama and twists. This is a stand alone book and the starter for this series. However it is a spin off of the series Game on in Seattle. Riley is the nephew to the character in the opening books of Game on in Seattle series. Keep your tissue handy you will need it. Jami knows how to put pen to paper with her thoughts. She pulls together events I didn't realize could be put together and I loved it. Life events happen and she writes about them. Haven't read a book from her yet I didn't like.

Riley Black has been holding out hope for a long time that his friend and crush would see him as he sees her, and finally give them a shot at forever. He knows the sparks bouncing around between them mean something... if only he could find a way to get her to admit it too. They share a devastating past, and also a night of passion that he has never forgotten, and he wants nothing more than to recreate that night and keep it on repeat. And now that she is back in town, attending the same school, he knows it's now or never... he has to make his move and finally get his girl!

Returning to Seattle and signing-up to attend Tyee University has been an unnerving experience for Tiffani Vernon, mainly because the town holds so many memories, some very bad memories, but she is ready to put them behind her and move on once and for a all. But in order to do that she must face the source of some of those memories too, her friend Riley. She has harbored a crush on him since high school, but it has never been the right time to explore all the feelings and sparks they share... then again maybe now is the perfect time!!

The moment my eyes hit the page, the words took over and I found myself hanging on on dearly to every one of them, it was quite evident this one was going to leave a serious mark... and boy did it ever!! These characters got to me early on, they had my emotions churning, and had me teetering on the edge of my seat in hopes they would find way to deal with their devastating past and possibly find love along the way too. And without giving too much away, I will just say I thoroughly enjoyed what I found, it was a second chance romance that checked all my boxes and left me smiling! Highly recommend this one, the stunning story line will grip you from the first page and have you hanging onto every word long after the page is swiped!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Riley and Tiff have a past no one should ever have to go through. They love one another but since the tragic incident in high school they've spent their lives separated from each other. They meet again after years have past and Riley has hopes of restarting a relationship, Tiff is not so keen.
This is a deep story with a dramatic, tense story line and heart breaking consequences, but there's also laughs, exciting sports action and love.
Another great read from Jami Davenport, I'm looking forward to the next exciting story from the series.

Tiff and Riley are both Sacked in Seattle by love!
This is another excellent steamy sports romance by an excellent sports romance author! Tiff had a rough high school career running away right after graduation but now she is back and not prepared to face love. Riley had a rough life before he came to live with his aunt and uncle but has loved Tiff for years. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this series!

*4.5*

This is a new sports series by Jami Davenport. I first fell in love with this writer with her hockey series. Hockey is my weakness, but I have to say I loved this book. There is so much beneath the surface with the two main characters. I clicked the first page and I was drawn in a web of lies as well as omissions. The plot was great and so were the people. This is a great second chance romance.

Riley and Tiff meet in high school. Something awful happens and they form a sort of bond. He is there for her every step of the way. Just when Riley thinks he has his chance Tiff is gone the next morning. Fast-forward a few years later and they have both grown up and moved on or have they? There were times I wanted to throttle Tiff and times I wanted to say talk to each other. You are being your worst enemy.

Both Riley and Tiff have some major demons. I don't blame them. What happened to them seven years prior was devastating. There is push and pull but mostly by Tiff. Riley knows what he wants and he does what he has to just to make Tiff see the light with the help of his friend Gage.

They see each other at a frat party. When their eyes meet all those feelings come rushing back. The Tiff does what she does best and runs. That doesn’t stop Riley. He wants answers and he wants her.

There are such a plethora of emotions in this book. What a rollercoaster ride and I loved every second of it. The best friends and family are great, they say what is on their minds and don’t sugar coat. Now some of the people some of the time I wanted to hit Coop. I understand a bit where he is coming from and he doesn’t want to see his nephew hurt again. I loved reading these two grow. They became so much more once they let go and started to heal. I felt the book just ended kind of abruptly. Now though this is book one so maybe we will get to see more in the next book and I am hoping it is Gage.

Sacked in Seattle we find ourselves meeting Riley Black & Tiffani Vernon once again. Seven years have passed but the past is still at the forefront of their lives.
Riley is now a college football player, but he always felt something was missing when Tiffani just up and left one day.
Tiffani has come home not by choice but by circumstance. When she finally sees Riley again all her emotions come racing back but can time heal everything she is hoping that you can leave the past where it belongs and she can move forward with the one person she knows can get her be the person she once was.
When we first met Riley & Tiffani they were secondary characters in Coop's story but as they move to the front of their own story you find out just how amazing the two of them really are. We also see how two people can overcome so many different kinds of emotions when you have the other to lean on.

I honestly thought this was just going to be a typical sports romance when I sat down to read this book. Which would've been fine because I really enjoy those.
Wow was I wrong! It was so much more. I was pleasantly surprised.
It isn't even a typical second chance romance. I don't think this book could be called typical at all.
It was heartbreaking, emotional, and beautiful all at the same time.
I couldn't put it down, and had no choice but to read it in one sitting. I NEEDED to know if Riley and Tiff got their HEA!!
I don't want to give out details of the story, as I feel it would be better for readers to go in without knowing.
Needless to say, this book is a must read!!!

Great new series…

First in a great new series by this prolific sports romance writer…. this is a second chance, young adult love story with two individuals who both have issues to conquer from their pasts including a shared traumatic experience….

This author is expert at creating imagined worlds and populating them with intriguing and believable characters; even more skillful is the way all her worlds dovetail into each other so characters step seamlessly from one world into the next…..

In this book Riley and Tiff take centre stage…. their star-crossed relationship is full of emotion and sexual tension …. they are such a well matched couple I could not help rooting for them even though at times Tiff is frustrating as she agonizes over her feelings for Riley…… the supporting cast are also fascinating Riley’s best friend and teammate Gage and Tiff’s friend Alisa, in particular, are both complex characters I would like too read more about..

This is an engaging story full of interesting characters…. a new series that I am really looking forward to reading more of over the coming months…This book was reviewed for Summer's Eve Reads...

Sacked in Seattle: Game On in Seattle Rookies by Jami Davenport is the new Men of Tyee Series.
This is Tiff and Riley´s story.
We previously met Riley in Crashing the Net and Tiffani in Melting Ice.
Both are at college. But now Riley Black isn´t the akward kid anymore. No. now he´s a star, a football player at Tyee University Seattle.
After years away, Tiffani is back , in the city where her demons live. She struggles. She knows Riley knows about her past. But Riley has secrets of his own.
Both are victims of their pasts.
This book had me at the edge of my seat. I read it in one sitting. I liked the characters, their pain and their struggle.
I give 4,5 stars. Thank you Jami Davenport.

**Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review**

I was so excited to get my hands on this first book in the Men of Tyee series, but especially after I found out it was going to be about Riley and Tiff! We have met both of these characters in Jami Davenport's previous novels, "Crashing the Net" and "Melting Ice" respectively, but now they are all grown up!

Riley Black has loved Tiffani Vernon since high school. The two of them endured a horrible tragedy together while they were in high school that helped to bond them together, yet it also left Tiff with some deep and painful scars. Following one passionate night at the end of high school, Tiff hightailed it out of town and only now, three years later, has she finally returned to their hometown although for monetary reasons, not because she really wants to be back.

While one might think Tiff would have been looking for Riley once she returned to town, it was the exact opposite. She's doing everything in her power to avoid him because the last thing she wants to have to do is to face the one person who could actually make her have to lower her walls and let someone in. The last thing she wants to do is admit that she has been crushing on Riley as long as he has been on her.

When Riley tries to prove to Tiff that they belong together for the long haul, she has a very different view. She doesn't want to hurt him and she's not sure she can give him everything he wants. While he understands she's dealing with things, he isn't going to take no for an answer and he sets out to prove to her that they are meant to be. Will Riley successfully topple the walls that Tiff has so expertly erected or will both of them be left brokenhearted?

This is by far one of my favorite Jami Davenport books and I think it is one of her best works to date. It was wonderful to see these two characters that we knew as youngsters grow up to be these complex people who you just want to see happy. It was also great to get to have some of our other favorites from Jami's "Game On" series make appearances as well.

I would highly recommend this book - it's one you're not going to want to put down once you start!

No one quite writes a sports romance novel as well as Jami Davenport does, I was so excited to start her new series Men of Tyee and Sacked in Seattle is book 1 in this series, it did not disappoint, what a great start to a new series.
We have met Riley and Tiff before but now they are all grown up, sweethearts given a second chance at love but not without issues, Tiff had teenage problems that caused her to run away from Seattle but then even bigger problems bought her back, she is not ready to open up and let Riley know she has always loved him so when she saw him for the first time in years it was easy to run and hide once again. Riley has never gotten over his first real love and is intent on showing her their love is real and being together is right but he not only has to convince Tiff he also has to convince his family who are sure she will run and break his heart once again.
Riley and Tiff both have secrets from their pasts and if their relationship is going to work they both need to open up and let those secrets go, will they be strong enough, guess you need to read the book to find that out.
This book is a emotional roller coaster, I was drawn in from the very first page and I laughed and I cried as Riley and Tiffs story unfolded. I loved the characters and I loved the journey they needed to take to get their HEA. Great start to what looks like a brilliant series, looking forward to more from the Men of Tyee

4.5 star Review Sacked in Seattle: Game On in Seattle Rookies (Men of Tyee #1) by Jami Davenport

This is book one in her exciting new series and I have to say that she is off to a flying start; I do believe she has another winning series on her hand.

Having met Riley and Tiff before, we fast forward a few years to where these two are given a second chance at love. Tiffani ran from Riley and Seattle years ago but now she is back and attending the same college. Still devastated and caught up in her past she finds it impossible to move on and embrace the here and now. Her walls are up and she has no intention of letting anyone, least of all Riley breach them; however she hasn’t counted on Riley's determination to get his second chance at happiness with her.

What an emotional roller coaster of a read this book was. Sacked in Seattle had my stomach tied in knots, crying and laughing and praying that these two would make it through and get the happily ever after that they both deserved.

Will the secrets from their pasts, come back to haunt them or will Riley and Tiff finally face the past head on and move forward? One click to find out.

Sacked in Seattle was only the third book I've read written by Jami Davenport and even if the main characters made already an appearance in previous books I could follow and love their touching story without the full background on their past.

This author is quickly becoming one of my favorite for the sports romance, her writing enchant me and keeps my attention from the first page until the end.

Tiff and Riley awful and shocking past kept them apart for a few years but now that they are next to each other once again they have the chance to finally build an healthy relationship, trying to let go of their guilt and secrets and heal together in order to be happy.

"Sacked in Seattle" is an enjoyable sexy New Adult romance which kicks off Jami Davenport's new Men of Tyee series. The Hero and Heroine of "Sacked in Seattle" were secondary characters in Jami Davenport's Game On in Seattle series. Riley's the nephew who came to live with his Sockeye hockey-playing uncle in "Crashing the Net". Tiff appears in "Melting Ice"; the 3rd book in the Game on in Seattle series. The couple's backstory occurs seven years prior when they were high school Freshmen. They survive a traumatic and deadly school shooting. Tiff's ex-boyfriend was one of the shooters and she was his main target. Three close friends died that day and Riley was shot attempting to shield her from the gunmen. Tiff still carries around guilt for that event. She feels her breaking up with her boyfriend was one of the straws that pushed him over the edge.
Riley fell in love with Tiff during high school and never stopped even though she didn't return his feelings. He had hoped she would have a change of heart. But even though they had sex after graduation Tiff left town the next day without even telling Riley good-bye. Three years later and Tiff unexpectedly moves back to Seattle. Her parents are divorcing and she can't afford out-of-state tuition. Now she's attending the same college as Riley. Riley had thought he had gotten over Tiff. However the moment he sees her he realizes he never stopped loving her. He believes she's the one and if she gives them a chance they can have a beautiful future. Unfortunately whenever Tiff is around Riley everything from that horrific day hits her. She hears gunshots and screams, smells blood and gunpowder, and sees the looks of fear on her friends' faces.
"Sacked in Seattle" is a straight up sexy New Adult romance. Jami Davenport peppers the novel with sparkling side characters. Riley's best friend Gage and Tiff's bestie Alisa and gay roommate Wayne are wonderful. I truly hope there are books for them in this series. Gage hinted at an intriguing backstory for himself. Riley is a solidly romantic Hero; more romantic that Tiff. He's a firm believer in True Love, The One, and Happily Ever Forevers. Once Tiff confesses to herself that she's been in love with Riley all along; she becomes a really likable character. "Sacked in Seattle" has a steamy sweet romance and a compelling storyline. Riley and Tiff are excellent main characters. This novel is a fabulous "kick off" to the Game On in Seattle Rookies (Men of Tyee) series. This seems like this will be a strong New Adult romantic series.

Dayum I'm still drooling.... Please have a look at the cover and see why.... Jesus....
It's my premier with this author and I couldn't have been more happy about it. Happy because the cover had sold the book to me, lol, and the story is amazing.
Jami Davenport has a raw, simple and intense writing that will hook you up in a sec.
Sacked in Seattle is the first book of the Men of Tyre series and if this is just the beginning I can't even imagine what's about to come.
This book tells the stories of Riley and Tiffani.
Just one look at Riley and you will find an intense and breathtaking man, full of himself and passionate about his career but behind that facade hides a boy that was abandon by his mom and hurt by the love of his life. After that crushing event he focused on his career and everything went well until the day a ghost from his past returned to hunt him.
But what will happen? Can he forgive and forget?
Tiffani had a bad teen years and because of that, and to get away form the pain, she decided to runaway and leave everyone behind. She never thought that she would be getting back until the day she did...
And now what??? How can she move on when she can't forget the past?
This book is intense and fill of drama and love.
The plot is amazing and the interaction between the characters is beautiful, raw and crazy sometimes...
The way the story progressed hooked me up in a way that I couldn't put it down. I tried but I couldn't. I laughed, I cried and I cursed.... Oh boy... I really did. I felt like I was riding the most bumpy and crazy rollercoaster of my life.
Amazing book Jami and I can't wait for the next one...

Lots Going On

While I wasn't instantly drawn to Riley, they grew on me. Sacked in Seattle is a nice start to the Men of Tyee series. It's the first book I've read by Jami Davenport and I'll have to say, the supporting characters from previous series seem to have interesting backstories as well.

"I didn't have any interest in being in the spotlight or even a flashlight."

Tiffany has had enough attention on her to last a lifetime. It's been seven years since the incident, one that Riley was front and center for mind you and she's ready to move on. Still carrying a torch for Riley, the handsome football player of her past, Tiffany has to constantly remind herself to live in the now.

This guy Riley was unstoppable when it came to his girl Tiff. Sure there had been others in the years they were apart, but those were just fillers until the real thing came back to him. I wasn't sure if I liked or loathed how whipped he was for this girl. On one hand it was sweet, but on the other it was too much. He needed to give her a little space to get use to seeing him on a daily basis again before glomming all over her.

These two were brought together and at the same time torn apart by tragedy. They have dealt with thier feelings in different ways, plus all of the crap they have gone through in thier pasts. It's quite the mess and had so many ways to go wrong which gives the story the angst I love so much.

The book is well written from dual points of view and fills us in on who is who in Riley's life from previous books. Like I said, those characters sound interesting as well and I may have to check out that Sockeyes series.

Sacked in Seattle is the first book that I have read by this author. I look forward to finding time to read more of her work. When I read the blurb, I was hooked. I was excited to get the chance to review this book. Talk about a roller coaster ride of emotions. Riley and Tiff's story is gut-wrenching, heartbreaking and sweet. Their love spans years and after years apart they find their way back to one another. When reading the blurb, the story comes across as a sports romance/second chance romance. But, in reality, it is so much more than that. The story does not revolve around Riley's career as some sports romance books do. No, this story revolves around the love that Riley and Tiff have had for one another for years and the tragic past that they both share. Now as adults can they come to terms with the past that pushed them apart or are both their hearts to battered and broken to find the happiness that they seek from one another?

Both Riley and Tiff's characters are equally broken and equally strong. Both are trying to move on with their lives and forget all that they have suffered through. When Tiff finds herself moving back home all that heartbreak and sadness comes racing back to the surface. Seeing Riley for the first time after all these years has her doing the one thing that she does so well...run. But, Riley wants answers. He won't give up until he knows why she up and left him all those years ago and he knows deep down that she is worth fighting for. Can he manage to show her how good they can be together or will she continue to run from her past and the amazing future that Riley can give her?

Jami Davenport’s SACKED IN SEATTLE is a hit. I adored this book. I fell in love with Riley Black in book 2 of the Game On in Seattle series, CRASHING THE NET. I enjoyed hearing Riley’s and Tiffani Vernon’s story. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adult and adult audiences.

Riley is a wonderful character. He had a horrible childhood. He was fortunate enough to be taken in by his uncle, Cooper in book 2, CRASHING NET. He subsequently was held hostage along with Tiffani in high school shooting his freshman year. This book takes place seven years later, during their senior year of college at Tyee University on Lake Union in Seattle.

Both Riley and Tiffani have many scares from their past. Riley keeps his childhood a secrete, and it comes back to haunt him. He has gone through more than any person should have to. Despite everything he has been through, he is a wonderful individual who is stronger for his trials and tribulations. He and Tiffani have a complicated relationship. Both grow tremendously throughout the novel.

Jami Davenport is an exceptional writer. I love her work and writing style. I’m excited about this new spin-off series, Man of Tyee, and cannot wait for the next book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This is a series that I can tell I'm going to absolutely love!! If this book is any way to judge who great this series will be, then count me in for the rest. This book had it all. I'm talking tragic life experience, rough childhood, heartache, fear, secrets, lies, guilt, love, attraction and so much more. These two have both lived through something that will shape their lives forever and the reminder is something that she has a hard time moving past. He seems to have moved on from that experience but his experiences as a child and the residual feelings may be the thing to keep them from finding a happy ending.

I really can't wait for the next in this series and I really hope the next is Gage's story. It's going to be a doozy I think. I highly recommend this book!!

Sacked in Seattle: Game On in Seattle Rookies by Jami Davenport is the new Men of Tyee Series.

This starts when Riley sees Tiff across a crowded room at a party. He can’t believe his eyes, he hasn’t seen her for long time when she moved to California after a high school shooting where Riley saved her life. Riley has loved Tiff since High School and was heartbroken when she fled to California without saying goodbye.
When Tiff sees her High School crush across a room at a party, she runs as fast as she can. Riley brings back the horror of the shooting. Riley believes Tiff feels the same way he does and pursues her with success. Riley has a damaged history and when it comes back to bite him. He thinks all is lost, but Tiff is now on strong lady and loves Riley. This is the first in a series, and I can’t wait for Gages story. A great start to a new sexy series, all those muscles.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 Stars!

Things get emotional in this first book in a new series from Jami Davenport!

Davenport introduces readers to the Men of Tyee with Riley and Tiff's book, Sacked in Seattle. This is a spin-off of her beloved Game On in Seattle series. Riley is Cooper Black's (of the Seattle Sockeyes hockey team) nephew.

During high school, Riley and Tiff survived a school shooting at the hands of Tiff's ex-boyfriend leaving them both emotionally scarred, but they leaned on each other and grew to be close friends and had one night together before Tiff left town without a word. Now, three years later, Tiff is back in Seattle and trying her best to stay away from Riley. Riley sees her at a party and all those feelings he's been trying to bury come flooding back.

There is a huge emotional component to this book. They are both still dealing with the emotional fallout of the shooting. Tiff is forced to come back to a place she was trying to escape. Riley has a past that follows him. They both have secrets. Their relationship is tenuous and even when they are happy there is still something holding them back.

Lots of feels in this one. With a great new group of characters and some familiar faces, Sacked in Seattle was a good read.

What a great book!! I'm so thankful that I was able to volunteer to review this ARC, given to me by the author. We've met Riley and Tiff before, in a previous story where a tragic episode in a high school occurs. If you remember that then you should remember these two. If you don't know about that, then it will not create issues as this is a total standalone. However this series is so great, it's worth looking into.

Riley has always loved Tiff, and secretly she had always loved him as well. Years go by and they are now back in Seattle together. How will this end, being that Riley just wanted to be with her, but Tiff is being ohh sooo rotten. I wanted to strangle her sometimes, but you get why, and her reasonings become more apparent throughout the book.

These two finally have a heart to heart and things look like they are in there mend. But are they truly? I liked this book more and more as I got near the end. I was sad when it was over. I hope you liked it as much as I do.
