I wasn't crazy about Craze (get it? Ok, I'll see myself out) Seriously though, Craze... kind of sucked

Initially, I was skeptical of him. He was moving way too fast and even though I am aware that there are only so many pages you can go through before your characters get together, but still! Even for a short read with MATES (because we all know the tale- mate = uncontrollable attraction, need to mark, etc, etc, etc.) Craze moved way too fast. If I had a word -and I do!- it would be 'love bombed.' More of a phrase, but you get the picture.

Every bit of their first moments together SCREAMED, 'If I lovebomb her, she will fall madly in love with me and won't ever want to leave.' Then there was the whole Astrid matter *rolls eyes HARD* That definitely solidified how I felt about him.

Listen, I understand people having an ex or even still having feelings for their exes, BUT -very strong but here- the whole point of 'fated mates' is that there can only be one. That is what makes the magic of these stories. Knowing that there is that one person in the entire galaxy for you and vice versa. Having Astrid introduced with even the mark was just FTSIM, moment for me. It took me so far out of the story because not only did it solidify my initial thoughts about his love bombing, but it undermined the very nature of fated mates. Suddenly, it just came across as, if I like having sex with you really badly, I'll mark you. Like Oprah, "You get a mark! You get a mark! You get a mark!" So yeah, was not a great addition.

Then there was the whole issue with the queen that felt like she was meant to be a villain, but author either forgot about that then decided to go a different direction with her entirely. Which confused me because it just wasn't well done. The dad's whole reveal was very anticlimactic, so was Sephir's comeuppance - and Astrid's. Umm, was I supposed to now root for indecisive Craze because he was suddenly able to choose one 'mate' over the other?

Then there was the craziness (I will be using crazy adjacent words and puns, let me live) of the plot. Every time I think, 'Oh, this one is going to be the climax,' No, author had about a million other ideas she wanted to cram into this short read and NONE ended up being even minorly satisfactory!!!

What else am I missing? Ah yes. Neither Craze, nor his brothers (all blended into one. You miss nothing from not having me mention them before now in my review. They added nothing to the story and I forgot about them entirely and they were boring and indistinguishable) knew what the word 'marriage' was, yet they used terms like 'girlfriend' 'going on a date' and other Earth and human affiliated words. Mind you, they were not taught these terms and humans are so rare in their universe that this was the first time any of them on planet Vixxian Prime had ever seen one. It was just not properly thought out.

There was no separation of characters. Craze and Misty sounded the SAME in their head. Which is mental to me considering one is supposedly a crown prince of a highly intelligent and advanced alien race, and the other is an intern for the NY Times. While I didn't expect either of them to be particularly verbose or snooty, I had hoped their differences were enough that I would get different perspectives. So that I could say, 'This is how Craze views the world' and vice versa, but no. Craze spoke and thought the same way Misty did.

The sex scenes were blah, and I just started skimming over them. All they did was have sex and sleep. Kingdom in turmoil? Let's have sex and sleep in the buff so that we have to scramble when there is an emergency. Trapped on an inhospitable planet? Let's have sex and sleep- screw trying to find help. Traitor in our midst? Let's have sex- you get the picture. It was so tiresome that I just started jumping the scenes. It wasn't even particularly adventurous or steamy sex either. Very vanilla. Girl, what do you see in Craze? I will chalk it up to her being sex-deprived for months before being abducted. That HAS to be it, because, no way!

In closing, story started off okay-ish, but author(s) needed to be more cohesive with their ideas. Book reads as two authors worked on it rather than a seamless prose of the best ideas from two authors combined.

Misty and Craze's story is quite the adventure. After being abducted while on her run through central park, by horrifyingly ugly alien sex slave traders. Mostly is one tough cookie and focused on getting out of her captivity. Lucky for her, Craze the crown prince of Vixxia is leading a mission to overtake, interrogate and recover the stolen women. The sparks fly once Misty meets her noble and somewhat impulsive prince charming. And the romance moves quickly alongside the drama of a vengeful lover, jealous brother and a palace coup. Craze's impulsiveness did put them in a few tight situations, and Misty did remarkably well in compensating for this, but for a here his heart always seemed to be in the right place. Otherwise an enjoyable read with instant love.

Misty is abducted by big, ugly aliens. She finds out that they plan to sell her and the other females aboard the ship to slavers. She knows she has to get off the ship but she has no idea how. Then Craze, another alien from a different planet comes to her rescue and rescues her and the others from the ship. Because of the translator that the first aliens implanted in her neck, she's able to understand Craze. He's nice and isn't at all like the other aliens so she trusts him a bit.

She's given asylum on his planet where Craze tells her he will make sure she is safe and taken care of. Because these two spend so much time together, they end up having feelings for each other and while intimate, Craze brands her as his mate which she isn't sure exactly how she feels about at first. But she really likes him and things seem to be going well until his planet is attacked by the first aliens that abducted Misty. After a bit of a fight, Craze and Misty board a small ship to try and salvage the alien equipment to remove the tracker the other aliens put in her neck but they are again attacked by another ship. This attacker though, comes to a shock to Craze, he wasn't expecting to be attacked by this person.

They end up stranded on another alien planet where they meet the Mixims, a small, rodent-like creature who have psychic abilities. After scanning Misty's mind and coming to the conclusion that she will mean them no harm, the little creatures make themselves known and communicate with both her and Craze. The implanted translator helped with this so it's a good thing she had it. I have to say that the Mixims were probably one of the best parts of this book, I loved the small, furry creatures. If you know me, I'm sure you are so shocked by this, right? *Sarcasm*

The Mixims are technologically advanced and are able to help Misty and Craze get back to his planet so they can deal with the betrayal that left them stranded on the planet in the first place.

This was such a fun read and the cast of characters were so interesting. Craze and Misty really made for a great couple. I had such a good time with this read.

Letting off stress, Misty threw on an old hoodie and headed for her nightly run in Central Park. Oddly, there was no one else in the park and it was quiet all around. She felt like she was being watched and sprinted toward a gate, but a light came down and lifted her into the air! She woke up on a hard slab with an invisible dome around her – and a slithering sound approaching!

Craze was summoned by his father and mother who were somehow integrated into the communication center and all that was happening around the planet. They had observed an alien slaver ship heading toward their outer colonies, intending to kidnap their women. They wanted Craze to intercept and capture them. He contacted his brothers to meet with him regarding their joint mission. In the resulting battle, they captured the enemy and rescued the female slaves, among them Misty. It didn’t take long for Craze to recognize that Misty may very well be his mate!

This was a great story, very well written and fast-paced. The world-building was amazing, so well incorporated into the story. This was especially true in experiencing the Imperials’ initial battle against the Thezlum ship where the reader could feel immersed in the fighting. Each of the characters were well developed with strong personalities, distinctly likable or obnoxious. And there was a mystery thrown in – who was the traitor who trying to conquer the Imperial planet? And why was the Empress acting so strangely toward Misty? All in all, this is a really good story that is definitely worth reading. Highly recommended!

>Book Review - Craze: Alien Abduction Romance

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd in the Galaxy Alien Warriors series and ends with an HEA. Misty is a human abducted for an inter galactic sex slave ring. Craze is an alien prince who saves and mates with Misty. The romance is incredibly fast and hard to believe. When Craze's crazy ex, Astrid, comes into the picture, Craze's dormant feelings reappear. Even Misty is upset that Craze isn't protecting her, but letting Astrid hurt her. This lapse in judgement on Craze's part is never really discussed between Craze and Misty, resulting in a relationship that doesn't feel true.

>The other princes are one of the better parts of the story. The way they bicker, yet can turn lethal show a humorous side along with a strong family bond. There is a mystery and a lot of action which keep the story moving. The descriptions of the new planet and the surroundings are interesting, especially the teeny people.

>The book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 4 stars. Work needs to be done to shore up the romance.

I would actually have to rate this one with 3 and a half stars because while I really liked the opening, I felt the lengthy narrative about the battles and political intrigue around Craze and his family bogged the romance down. Some humor, mostly coming from the feisty human heroine who gets caught in the tractor beam of an alien slave trading ship and ends up teaching the slavers and others she encounters what a strong-minded Earth girl can do! Craze, the hero, is a true Prince who falls for the heroine at once and affection and lots of steam follow. His efforts to lead his planet's fight against invading forces and find the traitor in their midst take up a good part of the narrative. I would have been a bit more satisfied with less battles and more one to one interaction between the main characters or just a more abbreviated novel.

I received an ARC of this book from the author at no cost. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Misty is kidnapped by Aliens to be sold into the sex slave market. There is little she or any of the other women that were kidnapped against their kidnappers. Then there space ship is attacked and boarded by Vixxia Warriors. When it is discovered what their cargo was, they are taken back to Vixxia Prime to be treated. Craze, captain of the vessel, is a Vixxian Prince, next in line to the throne. He instantly falls for Misty and feels she is his fated mate. While he is trying to "woo" Misty to get her to stay on the planet with him, the planet is attacked. While Craze and Misty chase the person responsible, they are stranded on an inhospitable planet. While they are trying to excape, Vixxia Prime is attacked and taked over by the "pirate" who is in cahoots with Craze's twin. When they finally return, the planet has been devistated, the inhabitants inslaved, and his other brothers imprisoned. A delightful story with lots of twists and turns!

Misty was out running late one night in Central Park when she is captured by aliens. She and othe captured human woman are to be sold as sex slaves. Craze is an alien prince who was sent with his brothers to take their enemies ships before they capture more of their colonies women. After a quick battle, they capture the ship and save the women. Craze gets a strong electrical feeling when he touches Misty. can she be his mate? Their planet is very short on women since their enemies release a disease targeting their women.
Together Craze and Misty have lots of obstacles and drama to go through including plots, betrayers and an attempted coup. This book is action pack with a good love story. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

This is the first book I read in the series, it is a standalone so it was no problem reading it without reading the other 2 books. I really enjoyed reading this book, It kept me going and wanting to read what would happen next. I loved how Misty would want to think ahead and stand by Craze who saved her from the other kidnappers. Craze is a go to get it done without thinking it through. I loved the little Mixims, it just made you want to cuddle them and wish that Misty would have. The only reason I gave it only 4 starts is because you knew right from the beginning who was causing the problems, I think that should have not been so obvious, but then again that is my opinion. I received an arc copy for my honest review.

This was a wonderful romance story, there was love, action, adventure, intrigue and fun what else could you ask for in a story. The characters were fun and enjoyable, smart and strong, the plot was well written and everything flowed smoothly throughout, if you enjoy an alien romance with an adventurous plot that will keep you intrigued throughout, then this story is for you it honestly has everything you could want. I enjoyed this book so much that I am going to purchase the rest of the books in the series, I cant wait to see what comes next.

Got ARC for an honest review.

First time reading from the author.

The author can make you feel like your there. They built a world and characters for you to like. I haven’t read any of the others, but after reading this I sure want to. The writing was well done. Characters are very likable and want to know more about them. I thought the story had the slow steady pace in right spots of the story. Which helps to connect with the characters. It had fast pace to move the action along. Hot steamy spots to make you warm all over. Hope to read more from the author.

Thank you for letting me read your 3rd book in the series. Very good read. Loved it.

if your looking for a fun read with two strong characters and lots of sexy time, then this is your book. The author takes you on a adventure/mystery with Misty and Craze, Misty a kidnapped human and Craze her rescuer. They both fall in love almost instantly but while falling in love they must find out whose trying to take over Craze's planet. I enjoyed the fact that Misty was smart and strong. It was also refreshing that the characters didn't have unnecessary fights just to cause conflict. This author really improved from the last two books. I'm Looking forward to reading more books in this series by this author. Hopefully more stories will come from Craze's two single brothers.

I absolutely loved this book. There was more to it than just a sci-fi romance. The heroine, Misty, was great, strong and believable. The hero, Craze, is kind and while an Alpha not arrogant with it or so much so that you really cannot get the two of them being together. The romance wasn't all plain sailing but that made it seem more real along with a proper plot that wasn't just about the two main characters falling in love. I was supposed to only read a chapter before bed but... yes, truthfully I ended up reading the whole thing in one hit and getting irrationally cross when I got to the end as there was no more book to read. I have definitely put it on my read-again list

What a fantastic book. It had everything in it that I crave in a great read. The author did a fantastic job with descriptions of both planets, the aliens, and even the humans, you get a good look inside their thinking. This is the first time I have read this author, but it won’t be the last. I was so impressed with the detail, and fell in love with not only the primary characters but also the back characters. There’s even villains that you love to hate. If you want an amazing alien romance, with action, comedy, deceit, and hot alien steamy scenes, this is definitely the book. The happily ever after with very fitting.

This is the first of Sedona Venez's books I've read and WOW!!! What an adventure. Misty and Craze make the cutest couple but oh, so different. He's Virixian and she's human. He's a crown prince and she's an IT specialist running in Central Park when she's kidnapped by Thezlums and tagged with a microchip that can explode if they see fit. It is also a tracking device and is used to great effect by Craze's ex-girlfriend who has become a rogue pirate.
There's a lot of twists and turns in the book, but very easy to keep track of it all. I loved it and definitely want to try and get the other books in the series.

Misty is jogging in Central Park when she realizes that there is something off. The next thing that she is aware of is that she is aboard an alien spacecraft, that she finds out is transporting her to another planet where she will become a slave. Craze is a prince of Vixxian, he has been told to intercept the slave ship and take the slavers captive. Wow, sexy, exciting, throw in some humor, a plot with many twists and you have a must read space adventure. Fascinating, sexy, and well written characters, I loved this book.

Craze by Lara Larue is a very good read. This is a fun, sexy story about Misty, a human woman that is kidnapped by slave trading aliens and Craze, the warrior alien prince that is sent to attack the slavers. Fun, sassy, entertaining and even occasionally snarky, this book is sure to make you laugh but also has enough twists, turns and surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat. Craze is very hot and he and Misty make an amazing, high chemistry couple. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Craze is so alpha male and protective. Misty is an extraordinary character. They are all smart charming and great personalities that leap off the reader at you. This is a must read. It is so good you won't want to put it down. It is a great length were it isn't short and definitely won't leave you hanging. I voluntarily review an advanced reader copy of this book.

Misty is abducted from Earth by an alien race. Craze and his fellow Vixxian warriors rescue Misty and much to Craze’s surprise, Misty is his mate. Misty is unaware of this but follows Craze to his homeland where she will be safe from her original captures. But will she? And how will she adapt to this strange universe?

There are many twists and turns to this sci-fi story keeping you entertained! And Misty is no weak human. Her portrayal as a strong, intelligent woman is refreshing! No whimpering damsel in distress even in the face of eminent danger!

Human Misty is abducted from Earth by scary-looking aliens and she has to be ready to fight for her life. When Craze rescues her he doesn't expect to find his fated mate - especially as all he can think of is claiming her heart, body and soul. Can he convince her that he is the right one for her while keeping them both safe?

This was a pleasant read as strong and determined Misty encountered alpha male alien Craze who was quite simply crazy about her. Easy to read and full of drama and danger, this was an enjoyable story. Contains explicit sexual content.

This book had it all. We had action and lots of it! Great storyline that just kept the pages turning. Craze and Misty were hot as a couple with great chemistry. Both were well developed and the secondary characters were also well fleshed out. I especially loved the Mixims. They were just an added bonus to a story that just fulfilled this reader. Wonderful book which put this author on my 1click list! Can't wait for the next in this series! I received an ARC for my honest review.

This is an alien romance between a woman who is kidnapped by aliens and then saved by an alien prince. Misty just wants to go back to Earth while Craze finds himself in love with her and wants her to stay forever. Before either can happen, they have to figure out how to get out Misty's locator so she can't be kidnapped again. I found this to be a fun read.

Kidnapped by aliens our heroine has to adjust on the fly. Fortunately she's rescued from that fate by our hero. Their attraction to one another is off the charts but there is an enemy amonst them. They meet new allies while struggling to find their way home, only to find betrayal again. Trust and friendship win out over deceit and destruction.

This is the first book I have read by Sedona Venez and I loved it . Misty was abducted from earth by alien slave traders. Word was received by the Vixxian’s and they sent the Crown Prince Craze to capture and rescue the females that had been abducted. Among the women was Misty and Craze was immediately drawn to her so he personally took her to protect. But as we all know what usually happens is two people one alien and a female human they have an adventure or more and end up with a HEA.

providing a review after I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author

very enjoyable read

was sci fi but not crazy over the top which some tend to be this was the right amount to be alien like but still understandable
i enjoyed that it was from both points of view
was a short story but in no way rushed
enough plots twists to keep it interesting
sex scenes were pretty hot
would read this author again
