I love travelling and hence love listening to stories about them. The thrill of listening about the adventures and misadventures is unparalleled. This book is a light read where the author seems like a friend or relative who sits down and narrates his travel stories on a late night at the terrace, under the starry night. I have always been that person who loves to listen to stories and extended narrations, appreciating a good storyteller has always been my forte. The Author has kept the writing style informal and personal, which makes it seem relatable and yet stands out. I guess, I'll always be biased when it comes to something remotely related to travelling. It's a good book to read while travelling to mountains.

Engaging with a simple language
Rathore has highlighted his experience in vivid language and tried connecting with the emotions of the reader. His abrupt ends which leaves your with questions is the loveliest part of his book. Will be happy to read more such stories from him.

Takes you on a sweet and pleasant journey to Himachal
Thrilling set of six amazing stories. I could feel the setting and feel of all tea spots mentioned in every single story. Definitely reminded me of my frequent trips to Himachal. Keeps you engaged for maximum amount of time.

I bought this book on kindle for free or for some meagre bucks. Hence , the expectations were already low.
However, I still enjoyed this short read to an extent. The first thing that impressed me was that there were only few mistakes as compared to other books published in local publications.
The stories are narrated light heartedly with abrupt endings.
The author succeeds in giving us a ride to picturesque town of Nahan.
The book not only gave me an enjoyable afternoon over a cup of tea but also encouraged me to pen down my own life experiences.
Its a book worth devouring on some lazy afternoon.

This book is absolutely brilliant, the way the stories have been chosen shows the intelligence of the author and the way it has been effortlessly written shows his command on transferring his thoughts on paper. Really intriguing short stories with some magic and anecdotes of smallish towns of India.

the stories are not just like an evening talk you have with your friend. Nothing too special. The writing is also average.

Some good some not so good
These are the kind of stories you have heard in your childhood or teens ...a ghost story, a haunted place, a tragic sort of coming of age story....these make for a very breezy read....but there is nothing here that you would miss if you hadn't read the book

six great heart touching stories, from a small Himalayan hill-town. you can almost feel the cool mountain air, and see the winding roads, as the author takes you on a journey to his childhood home.

Tea ,Travel and Thrill by Jitendra Rathore ..collection of six stories ,these short stories are more of anecdotes, incidnences and travel diaries which happened in the life a author...a very easy read ,full of fun and thrill...
Now comes the special...close to heart part..author was school senior..though had hardly spoken to him ever but knew him and his family...three of the stories are based in the tinsel small beautiful town in the foothills of Himachal Pradesh ,where we had grown up...so the familiar surroundings and names of our seniors and known, which keep popping up on and off, the childhood horrow storiea of sarkata bhoot residing on the Mango tree..infact the beauty of town is such that everyone knows eachother ,the tradition of calling seniors BhaiJee is still there... when i told about this book to our classmates ,after so many years ,when the author himself would b in late 40s..he was still identified as son of Dr Rathore ..the famous eye specialist in Govt Hospital
Infact having seen Patal Bhubhneshwar and Jim Corbett,so the bal stories also have familiar background.
Last story Ajay especially touches me..infact it first sets u back to our college and familiar search of big brothers to save pur souls in ragging,many faces combining Fidel Castro and Rishi Kapurs ,brewing of unsaid romance etc but later part and gory death of Ajay shakes me and feels sad that such a incident,if true, ever happened in the town
Overall a big thank you to Jeetender Rathore Bhai for a wonderful attempt..hope to read many more of ur works...And as a rule cannot judge and rate his book..anything from Nahan is always 5/5....

Amazing stories, I enjoyed reading the book.This book is very interesting. While reading this book you can also imagine thrill in your mind. The way the stories have been chosen shows the intelligence of the author. The language is simple and interesting. Sometimes its good to take a break from tense this will be fulfilled by this book.

Recommended for all short stories lovers and for those who wants to read a good and light book to relax and enjoy.

Took this book for my kindle on a Saturday evening read. The author sure does put a brilliant effort to grip his readers around the edge with a bit of humor here and there. All the stories are adventurous and indians can imagine the feelings/tensions author puts forth in his narration. Good book for a casual read.

A varied collection of real life moments, translated into stories, by Jitendra Rathore. Though I knew that there were only six such stories, yet I felt that it all ended too quickly.
Clearly written, each story is an emotion, a journey that propels us all to push forward.

First 4 stories are clean and clear with simple language. Coming to 5th it felt quite dragging at some point which made me lose interest. And the other reason of losing interest is the ghost and murder story...as I was expecting something fun. But overall it's a good book.
