I am an obsessive romance reader turned writer. An amazing group of indie writers have inspired and encouraged me to pursue this crazy dream and now I can’t imagine stopping. Born and raised, I have always lived in Southern California. I am happily married, with two small fur babies. I love my job as a teacher and wouldn’t want to do anything else. Except maybe be a full time writer. Between reading, writing, and teaching, I have little free time. But in those rare moments I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, binge watching reality television and baking.

**4.5 well deserved stars**
I want to go into this saying that I am "typically" not a fan of swinger books because I have a hard time connecting with the characters. That being said, Teri does an amazing job explaining the lifestyle and weaving in the previous characters from Reckless Abandon that I loved, into the storyline of Reckless Behavior. There are a lot of twists, turns, and secrets that will keep you flipping page after page.
I had two reasons that I couldn't give this a 5. One) I seriously wanted to throat punch a character. So much so that I had a hard time continuing the story. Two) I wasn't thrilled with how the ending was resolved. Though it keeps me looking forward to the rest of the series I feel there are some unanswered questions regarding character behavior.
If you're out there looking for an interesting read, one that is different from your typical romance niche, then this is your book. I also highly recommend reading the first book in the series, Reckless Abandon.

I picked up Reckless Behavior for free on Amazon and I'm glad that I didn't pay money for this book. I am giving it two stars because the author didn't have any typos or grammatical errors but those are the only positive aspects that I got out of the book. I read the description so I knew that the romance revolved around a "swinger" couple. What the author doesn't seem to understand is that a romance features love. I read multiple genres and have no problem with menage books or same sex romances. What I don't like is to see an author try to pass off trash as romance. I will give my reasons below why I will never read this author again but it does contain many spoilers.

***SPOILERS ***
When a man and woman make a commitment (in the case of this couple it is that they do not kiss anyone else and that they only have sex with others when they're together) the reader wants them to be happy together in their choices. This author chose to have her main character get mad at his wife over something trivial (similar to a high school boy) and have unprotected sex with his wife's friend while kissing her as well. Then big surprise, he doesn't tell his wife because he knows that he was wrong but don't worry the friend ends up pregnant so he will now have two children with two women that have been friends since high school. Can anyone say "tacky"? So unless you want to read the type of story that also leaves the reader with no answers besides the main couple getting a divorce and the ex-husband moving in with his baby mama and her husband that now want him to be a part of their threesome because the husband travels a lot and wants his wife "taken care of" this is the book for you.

Secrets. Lies. Betrayal. And lots of hot menage scenes. I really liked this book. It certainly piqued my curiosity for sure. What would I do if my best friends told me they were swingers? Other than picking my jaw up off the floor, I couldn't tell you the answer. That's the very topic around which this book circles.

Jeremy and Rose finally tell their BFF couple Ryann and Nathan what their "date nights" really entail. They want to bring Ryann and Nathan in to their world. Want the two to join them , and their other swinger couple Travis and Ari. The six embark on new adventures in this alternate lifestyle. There are rules in place so everyone can enjoy themselves and everyone feels safe. Right?

But what happens when rules are bent? Broken? With reckless behavior comes consequences. Big ones. Life altering ones. Will any of them be the same again? Can their friendships survive? Their marriages?

Overall, I did enjoy the read. Swinging isn't my scene, but the scenes in the book were pretty steamy. I did leave the book feeling a little heartbroken. Warning, there is no HEA but it's left open for the next books in the series.

This is a different rating for me - the stars are not for the characters but completely for the author that made me want to keep turning the pages of a story I really wasn't interested in....let me explain

I am not a fan of married "swingers". It's just not a concept I can fathom, so I went into this story disliking the theme. However, I had read book one and wanted to read book three and knew all the characters were connected so I felt I had to give this one a chance.

I started and ended the story not really caring for either Rose or Jeremy, but understanding them a bit better. I was more than a little disappointed with the third couple, but rejoiced their decision later. See strong feelings equal 5 stars to me. I felt that this couple should have had better communication skills considering their lifestyle. I am glad I read this because with the ending in this book I really want to see how everything plays out.

Wow! just Wow! Reckless Behavior was a great book. Is it taboo? Yes. Hot? Yes. Does it grab and keep your attention? Yes. Rose and her long time husband Jeremy are no strangers to the local swinger club, neither are their friend Travis and Ari. When their best friends Ryann and Nathan start to get suspicious, they decide to invite them to test the waters with them so to speak. What could possibly go wrong? will they enjoy it? will it ruin their friendship? Once again Teri has given a great storyline and some amazing characters, some you love and some you hate. It was great to spend time with Characters from the first book n the series Reckless Abandon. Can't wait to see when the rest of this series leads. 4.5 stars

Reckless Behavior is a great book. The writing Teri Kay has done is amazing. I love the characters and how well she has described them. I can't wait to read the rest of the series to see what will happen with the characters. Throughout the book you can see how the characters grow and find what they truly want in their lives. They go through obstacles together and have individual obstacles that they have to figure out as well.

Teri Kay turns up the heat with Reckless Behavior. Prepare yourself for some drama, fun, sexy times and as the title suggests, some extremely reckless behavior!!

This is the first swingers romance that I have read and I appreciate the research that went into it regarding the rules and different types of swingers. Jeremy and Rose are the two main characters, but the secondary characters also play a huge role in the story. Let me just say that the swaps are H.O.T!

But it’s not all fun and games, no. Lies are told, secrets are revealed and hidden jealousy rises to the surface. The drama and twists will keep you glued to each page, eager to find out what will happen next. I might have cursed a few times at certain characters- okay not might, I DID- and even contemplated throwing my reading device- I didn’t. So, get ready, because you’ll be smiling, swooning, fanning yourself and possibly flipping the bird!

It may not have ended the way I’d like, but it is left open for potential stories in the future. I WILL be reading any addition to The Cave Series, because some of these characters still have more of a story to tell.

Congrats on your new release Teri! Reckless Behavior was a little slice of nice and a whole lot of naughty!

3 1/2 stars...

Don't know where to start, I really wanted to like this story but I just couldn't get into it. The storyline was great. The book is about swingers I haven't read a book like this before. Now I do love a good sexy romance, but there was just too much sex scenes for my taste. Almost every chapter had sex in it. I have nothing against that but it's just not for me. There were a few other things that really turned me off about the story but over all it was a good story, like I said before it just wasn't for me.
Towards the end it did get a little interesting and the storyline seemed to pick up when it ended.

If you like Stories about swingers, romance then check it out.

Twists and turns you never see coming and you won't be able to put this book down. Strap in for a ride. I hope you like roller coasters;)

Merged review:

If you're into unconventional romances or swinging this is the book for you. If you're not then you may want to read something else. Like with Reckless abandon I found myself getting easily distracted while reading the book. I did enjoy all the twists and turns, however.

Reckless Behavior was a shocking eye opener into the world of swingers. Couples consenting to sharing their inner most desires and sexual pleasures.

It was off-the-chart hot. The sexual scenes and scenarios were possibly right out of your fantasies but as the title says, some behaviors are reckless.

This was a great addition to the Cave Series and has set up so many more book possibilities. I loved seeing more of Ryann and Nathan, whom we met in Reckless Abandon. Nathan is by far my favourite male in this series so far, so I was happy to have him in this book and I was overjoyed at where he and Ryann end up in this book.

This book will not be for everyone. Swingers are not cheaters but it can lead to some devastating after effects and this is the premise of Reckless Behavior.

After reading this book, you may have a hankering for a new kind of vacation resort or you may be saying "HELL NO"! Either way, it was and is a very hot, steamy read with some interesting characters faced with hard decisions and consequences to their actions along with some moral dilemmas. I was not impressed with the choices of some characters so they are not my favourites going forward but I will still read the future books in this series as I am now sufficiently intrigued to see where these friends end up.
