Gregory along with his brother Basil of Caesarea and Gregory of Nazianzus are known as the Cappadocian Fathers. They attempted to establish Christian philosophy as superior to Greek philosophy.

August 6, 2023Of course isn't the writing that is the problem. This is a spiritual classic.
But you are really on your own with this one. There is no contents page, no index and no forward. No helping hand at all to prime you for this dense text which constantly had me at the threshold of my understanding.
I came away from this edition how complete this volume is and what else I might want to read. And the formatting doesn't not help either.
