Clinical Error
Dr. Kate Westbrook inherits a concierge medical practice near Austin, Texas. Things go very wrong. Medical mistakes or sabotage? Jack Stone, her live-in lover, has what he thinks is an answer to her problems, but could it make things worse? Modern technology and the best of intentions do not always provide the best outcome for the patient. Huge number of unexplained medical errors, deception in scientific advances and people of very questionable character
My strong liking ... love? ... of medically-based books made me choose to read CLINICAL ERROR by John Egerton. However, I was taken by surprise to find the plot to include all issues noted in my "Headline" plus more. I loved this story!
On a negative note, however, the author and/or editor filled story lines with too much repetition from earlier items, which became somewhat tiring.
Overall, however, this rated 4 Stars!

Pretty good
I like medical mystery stories . This was good about a young doctor in a concierge practice with close ties to the hospital . She is conscientious about her work and realizes the necessity to be cautious about diagnosis and treatment . There are some things that are not clear , such as using a robot .
I think, as a result , the story is incomplete . A nice , clean story with a mystery in the background . So much is unwritten .

The story was ok, mostly predictable, and fairly repetitive. I liked the story, however, as my Kindle hit 98%, it was still not ending. All of a sudden, what took so many pages to set up, just dropped like a brick. The ending was very disappointing as there was really no explanation of the plot. This writer should have spent more time on the ending with less of the repitition throughout the book.

A good medical suspense book
My only concern was the extra verbiage in this book that I felt was unnecessary. The same thing happened every night and the same thing happened every morning going to the clinic so why keep repeating it. I kept reading because the medical information and the twist and turns were great!

Wouldn't recommend
This book did not have good flow and it felt like large parts of the book were missing. The last chapter ft like the author had to finish in a couple of pages didn't really tie the book up.

Pure enjoyment!
Indeed it was a joy reading this book, it had love but also danger, uncertainty but steadfastness, I could hardly put it down. This one will stay in my memory a long time.

Very interesting use of new and modern technology. Medical community has not seen anything like a drone to actually go to people's home to diagnose and treat. Throwing some suspense kidnapping you've got yourself a great book. Great read!

Generally a good book, I enjoyed it all the way through until the end. Weak ending. Sorry to the author.
