What comes to your mind when you hear the word testosterone? For most people, it evokes thoughts and images of aggression, force, anger, and high sex drive. However, very few people actually understand what testosterone is, the role it plays in the body, and how it affects the entire body system. Every man would love to learn how to naturally boost his testosterone levels. However, there is no quick fix or magic formula for doing so. This book isn’t going to give you some shortcut or temporary method of boosting testosterone. This is a solid guide that is meant to help you achieve long-term success in maintaining high levels of testosterone. Expect to experience a 300% increase in testosterone if you follow the recommendations made in this book! The majority of men who experience low testosterone levels tend to display particular symptoms, yet they never pinpoint low testosterone as the real cause. There is no need to wait for your sex life to take a nose dive before you realize what is going on. In fact, most men will simply rush to get some Viagra pills instead of fixing the actual problem. In this book, you are going to discover everything you need to know about testosterone and how to increase its levels in your body. We will show you how this is possible through consuming the right foods, exercising, taking natural supplements, and living the appropriate lifestyle. Most people are unaware of just how much damage they do to their testosterone levels, and this book will highlight some of the things that cause your testosterone levels to drop. This book is very important to you because an increasing number of men out there are suffering from a massive decrease in testosterone. Why? Look around you! We live in a world filled with junk food, hormones being added to food, chemicals, pollution, and stress. The goal of this book is to help you understand your testosterone hormone and how it relates to your body’s performance, and not just sexually. I hope that by the time you get to the end of this book, you will have gained a clear understanding of this crucial hormone and how to make sure that you maintain high levels of it. The benefits of doing so are immense, so take the time to learn how to regain what you have lost.
A natural way to loose fat, gain muscle and boost libido…
Do you suffer from low testosterone levels? Are you involved in sport and want to increase your muscle growth? If so, this is the book for you. In these circumstances it is very tempting to want to take testosterone or anabolic steroids orally, but doing so can actually cut your body's own hormone production. This book is about increasing your body's production of testosterone naturally. But the trick is not as simple as it seems. Some supplements, for example, only increase libido, but not actual testosterone. The three avenues explored in this book are: food, behaviour (particularly exercise) and supplements (vitamins, minerals, etc.).
The chapters included are:
Introduction Chapter 1: You and Your Testosterone (what testosterone is, how it works in your body, and what causes low testosterone) Chapter 2: Importance of High Testosterone Levels (Benefits, side effects, and testosterone in women) Chapter 3: Understanding Your Total Testosterone Chapter 4: The Testosterone Diet Chapter 5: Exercise and Testosterone Chapter 6: Testosterone-Boosting Supplements Chapter 7: Testosterone Killers Conclusion
Carlisle takes a sensible approach to the subject, relying on medical research. He notes that when only a few studies have been done, that the evidence is only tentative, and that all the research must be looked at, not just one or two positive studies.
I really found this book interesting, and found that it linked in with other health problems that I have. No matter how I dieted, or exercised, I never really lost weight. This book explained to me why. If you find that you are continually tired, or that you have a health problem that just won't respond, maybe this is a missing piece of the problem. It was for me.
While relying on medical research this book is not at all hard to read od understand. It is also short, so is good to read if, like me, you are someone always on the go. All you need to do is read three or four pages every day and soon you will have a basic understanding of testosterone.
As I say, I found this book great to read and very useful and practical. I am happy to rate it as five stars.
