‘Gulliver’s Travels’ is a novel decrypting the voyages undertaken by Lemuel Gulliver to the South Seas and how he reached Lilliput, Brobdingnag, Laputa, Balnibardi, Luggnag, Glubbdubdrib, Japan and the country of the Houyhnhnm. This novel has been penned down by Jonathan Swift. This novel has been adopted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under Class IX English Curriculum. The present unabridged edition of ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ covers both Term I and Term II syllabi of Class IX examinations. This book presents an unabridged edition of the novel divided into two sections i.e. Term-I and Term-II. Term-I section has been divided into two parts – Part A Voyage to Lilliput and Part A voyage to Brobdingnag, whereas the Term-II section has been divided into Part A Voyage to Laputa, Balnibardi, Luggnag, Glubbdubdrib & Japan and Part A Voyage to the Country of the Houyhnhnm. Term-I and Term-II sections end with a Question Digest section containing questions which may be asked in the CBSE Class X Term-I and Term-II examination along with their answers. The book also contains author’s biography in the beginning along with Dramatis Personae and a letter from Captain Gulliver to his Cousin Sympson.
