Hebrews: Better Things

by Daniel L. Segraves

A excellent commentary on the first half of Hebrews. The central theme of this book is the superiority of Jesus Christ over all else.

This book does a fair enough job of exegeting Hebrews from the framework of the UPCI. but his overall theological system is misguided. Back when I had the same denominational affiliation as Segraves, I read everything he wrote I could get my hands on (outside of his Urshan biography). I no longer hold to his denominational distinctives, but I'm thankful for the formation he did provide.
