Oh my!!! This anthology gave me chills. It was well written and full of suspense. Had me on the edge of my seat. Some of these authors I haven't ever read anything by them but I'll definitely be checking into other books.

This is an anthology of horror and dark fiction.

I love anthologies as they are great if your looking for a quick read. I also like to buy anthologies so I can dip in if I'm looking for a quick genre change. I rarely read an anthology all the way as I like to dip in and out. An anthology is also a great way to find new authors :)

As these are short reads it's hard to write a review without spoiling but here goes on a few I've read already.

See You and n the Flip Side- Carissa Ann Lynch.

This is a great wee story. Jeremy wants his girlfriend to go on a camping trip to meet his family. Unfortunately she has a fear of cockroaches which affects her life quite a bit. I really liked this read although my mistake was I read this out in the garden and it had me imagining all sorts lol

Widow's Prey - Erin Lee

I loved this story. Although a quick read I felt the author gave us a complete story that I really enjoyed. Oh Tendra you certainly got a chance to show your true colours ;)

As I go along and read some more of these stories I'll update my review. From what I've read so far I highly recommend this anthology.

A hair raising, goosebumps enticing group of stories some with happy endings some with frightening ones. Some stories fill your mind with disturbing images and others with a satisfying indulgence into the eerie. Weather you take pleasure in the supernatural or superstitious, in revenge or redemption these collections of morbid tales will appease your every need.

Caved In by Jackie Sonnenberg

This story starts with Fay trying to find help from a witch whose form is smoke. In return Fay has to devote herself to the witch. I can not tell you anymore without giving away this heart pounding story.

Grave Beginnings by Sara Schoen

This is a prequel to Grave Secrets. A story seen though Thomas's eyes as he and he and his two friends sneak into a haunted prison to see if ghosts are real. They then learn the hard way that they are.

Myopia by Samie Sands

Mia is blind and her mom is a nurse. He mom is called away to work for an extraordinary emergency and leaves Mia alone to figure our what is happening in the world and if should stay safe in her house or go out to try and help find her mom.

Room 249 by Thomas S. Flowers

A disturbing story of a cross country cold blooded murder spree. The murderer hides out in a unique hotel while the man hunt ensues. I found myself cringing and grossed out with this story but it also find it very unique and clever with its plot.

Sacrifice by Luke Swanson

A detective on a case of a murdered boy and compare his death to his own child. He becomes to involved and consumed in finding the killer.

See You on the Flip Side by Carissa Ann Lynch

A former amusement park turned campground still holds horror stories and nightmares. Donna finds her worst fear when she meets her boyfriends family for the first time while camping and makes a fool if herself when her fear of cockroaches is exposed.

Sinister by Taylor Henderson

A small town where pets have gone missing or found mutilated. Karen try's to keep her pet indoors as suspicion grows over her bizarre behavior of her neighbors.

Six Lie Broken by Brandon Nave

In a small town there is a barn where no ones screams can be heard except to those that have paid for a seat to listen to their tortured scream. Vigilantes collect the wrongdoers so that they can reap them at harvest time.

The Bad Man by Marissa Farrar

The Bad Man is collecting children and bringing them underground. Sophie is the oldest of all the children, at 10 years old and she thinks its time to make a plan and to try and to escape back up to the world.

The Inheritance by D.A. Roach

Niki's father dies and leaves her with he Uncles deserted property that once housed a thriving telecommunications company that shut down after his death and a lot of unexplained deaths and accidents. She tours the facility with her assistants to see how they can make use of it for their company and come to a gruesome realization there is an unpaid debt to her inheritance.

Under Mama's Roof by Elizabeth Roderick

Tara is living in her family's old home and moving up in her job after her mom died. We come to find out her mom isn't happy in death with what her daughter is doing with her life or her old home. Strange things start happening and cant be ignored.

Wicked Intentions by Sophia Valentine

April was 8 months pregnant with her ex boyfriends baby when she lost her job and her apartment in one day. With only her ex Evan to call, he takes her in with his new girlfriend. April begins to suspect these events happening and that Evan helping her out isn't all just one big coincidence.

Widow's Prey by Erin Lee

When Tendra was a child she grew up heartless and demonic. Her parents claimed she had no soul. As the years pass she still is unpredictable and cruel but is trying to find her happiness. Will what she is looking for bring her peace or will it open a door more damaging?

Having been introduced to 13 An Anthology of Horror and Dark Fiction from stalking Author D.A. Roach. I couldn't wait to jump back in and get my twisted mind horror fix. Reading the sequel 13:Deja Vu Anthology!

This Anthology is a well written suspenseful edge of seat read. Each of these stories were great in their own right but a couple of them stood out for me. Caved In by Jackie Sonnenberg, Myopia by Jamie Sands, Room 249 by Thomas. S. Flowers and especially The Inheritance by D.A. Roach as it was influenced by her The Demon Hunters Series which i'm a huge fan of, but can still be read on its own.

What i love about an Anthology is that each and every story gives us something different. From hair raising, goosebumps and WTH reads. This collection of short horror stories is
an absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend to any fan of Horror, Supernatural or superstitious readers.

Bone Chilling read! I got lost in the story telling and occasionally had to look away due to the wonderfully descriptive writing included in these stories. Such a fantastic read! I highly recommend it to all my fellow lovers of the dark and twisted reads. Not for the weak of heart!

Featuring Mytopia by Samie Sands

Mia is a young girl whom her mother has sheltered and tried to protect all her life. She just wants her little girl to be safe and not to get hurt. So that is probably why Mia has always kept to herself never letting anyone in resulting in her having no friends. You see Mia is blind and that is why her mother tries to keep her from harm.

When a virus starts to run wild in the outside world Mia’s mother who is a nurse tries to keep her from listening to the news but when she is called into work Mia desperate to know what is going turns the tv on as soon as her mother is out the door.

When her mother doesn’t return after a few days Mia gets worried but when she receives a phone call from her mother and then the line goes dead Mia has no clue what she should do. Should she go out to find for her mother not knowing what is happening? Should she go out into a world that is being over by a virus when she can’t see? Oh my oh my what will happen to Mia who is all alone?

I have enjoyed reading Mia’s story and would love to read more from her world. What is Mia and her mother’s story? Where is Mia’s mother? Is she safe? What happens to Mia?

Mytopia is the only story so far that I have read from the anthology of 13 Déjà vu (thanks to Samie Sands for the opportunity) I do plan on reading more at a later date. Mytopia is just the beginning and just enough to whet the appetite setting me up for more from this great set of short stories.

If you have not read 13 Déjà vu anthology then let me suggest that you do. What are you waiting for? Pick up your copy today.

I was so excited when I learned that there was going to be a sequel to 13! I think it is awesome that each author takes their own perspective of what it means to write a horror short story. Because of this, the anthology is full of unique stories that make the reader wonder about many different aspects of life. I must include a short shout out to D.A. Roach, Bradon Nave, and Carissa Lynch, all of whom are amazing authors and continually surprise me with what they are capable of! And of course, great job to everyone who participated! Uniqueness is truly what makes horror such a fascinating genre to me, and I can truly say that this bunch of authors know how to make a unique story!

I loved this book. There are loads of awesome short stories in here that are creepy and will leave you begging for more. I loved the variety of authors and stories. Each story was completely different than the last and I love that they all give you an equally terrifying experience. There are a bunch of gifted authors in here. It gives you a chance to see new authors and gives you insight on the type of author that they are. I was introduced to a bunch of new authors that I now want to learn more about and want to read more of their stuff. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good scare.

I read the previous anthology so I was prepared what I was getting myself in to. This one is even better. There are stories that will leave you creeped out uncomfortable and mortified. My favorite one was The Inheritance by D.A. Roach because it was a short story that ties in to her demon hunters series. It was pretty amazing. Room 249 by Thomas S Flowers was really creepy and gave me a few nightmares. Overall, I'm highly impressed once again with the talent of all the authors in this anthology. I will be recommending it to all of my friends.

The first 13 Anthology was amazing, so naturally I grabbed the second one as soon as it came out. I must say, all of the authors who worked on it are incredibly talented! Each story was dark and creepy in its own way, and had its own distinctive voice. From haunted prisons and abandoned amusement parks to victims who take it upon themselves to inflict punishment on their abusers in their own way, this collection of horror and dark short stories is definitely a must read for all fans of the genre. Be prepared to get scared! Five huge stars!

As much as I loved the first Anthology (13: An Anthology of Horror and Dark Fiction), this one is kinda meh. Not bad, but not great. I like how the shorts go back into some of the places from the first one. Adventure Town is a favorite from the first.

Just under half way through I came across Sinister by Taylor Henderson. This is the first one in here that grabbed me enough to be worth mentioning, I am going to pause to read The Darkness Within because Sinister was a prequel.

The Stories got really good the last half! Sinister was just the start of it. I have high hopes for the next Anthology!
