This is book 2 of what promises to be a very good spin-off of Shifting Impulse. Janet has been given the job of organizing events at Shifting Impulse in the hopes of getting shifters their mates.....Presently she has organized a Valentine's Day event and is freaking because she fears it will be a complete no-show, so she pleads with her friend Erika and Noah to please attend.
Erika a very rare Eagle shifter is recovering from a very bad, loveless marriage to another eagle shifter and is very weary of anyone. Her only friends are her co-worker Cora and Janet and even they don't know what her previous life was like. She only works and keeps to herself, but when her friend Janet calls on her to help her out, she can't help but go to her aid by attending her Valentine's Day event. Little did she suspect that this day would be eye opening and life changing for her, that she would come out of her shell (no pun intended)
Noah is a dragon shifter who has just recently had his dragon emerge and knows nothing about his inner beast. He and his brother have lived in another world all their lives and escaped to this world where there are feelings they were never aware of. He is finally making a life for himself in this world when he starts to feel a pull, but to what, to Erika. he doesn't realize what it is, what a mating is, only that he feels it. When his brother a veterinarian brings an injured Eagle home, he hears a voice that will seal his fate forever. His dragon feels an attraction to a human, or so she appears to be, for the first time.
This spinoff is going to be heart stopping and passionate, just my kind of stories.

Do Fated Mates actually exist or are they a story that has been passed down through time? Erika Williams has been burned by her ex and is slowly recovering from his deceit. Noah Crosso does not believe in fated mates and has steered clear of getting involved with women, especially humans.
Erika is a workaholic who has no time for involvements and has been taught to not trust humans. When Erika and Noah meet, neither can tell the other is a shifter. When they meet by "fate" at a Valentine's Day event, they are both drawn to each other and, out of character, have some super hot sex in the back of his truck.
Days later when Noah doesn't hear from her, his search to find her begins....

I don't get tired of reading the books in this series, the stories are perfect!
Erika is struggling to regain the reins of her life after a divorce and several bad things in her past.
When dragon shifter Noah Crosso literally appears at her house's door, things get interesting, since both aren't very well aware of the feelings, but their inner animals soon feel the connection between them.
Their relationship's development is very interesting, as are all the events involving Noah and his former home.
At first I wondered what kind of shifter Erika was, and it was a surprise to find out what her inner animal was!
I loved the story and the ending, and I highly recommend the reading.

Erika Williams used to be a bossy and confident women but since her divorce she is nothing like she used to be so after two years she is tired of living of being afraid she needs help her house is falling down around her and she needs more confidence in her self then her come this handsome buff men wanting to help her with anything she needs lol Noah Crosso does not like humans and lives his life in isolation and is making it just fine but his dragon begs to be different he wants his mate so he sets his sights on the curvy shy Erika and has his work cut out for him. Awesome book loved it funny and cut and exciting I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Michelle

What a breathe of fresh air after the book one in the series was not to the usual standard that we had got used to from Aurora, it was a joy to read Marked dragon as its just hits all the spots.
Erica and Noah take us on there journey of self discovery as both are running away from pasts that put shadows in there lives.
Some of the scene are just captivating and would love to see them on screen, most especially when they go off on a well deserved holiday, amazing descriptions.
So captivating, read it in one reading.

Noah Crosso is a very unusual shifter. A type that is not supposed to exist. He left his own people behind because he doesn't agree with the way they live. Something has drawn him to this area and it feels like home.
Our heroine is a shifter that we don't often read about. Will she be brave enough to really enjoy life. Our hero has real trouble with controlling his beast. He is still learning about it.

This book pull me in from the beginning, so much that I binge till the end.
Erika is coming out of her divorce depression and is ready to start living again.
Noah is coming to his own, embracing his dragon and ready for a mate. These two come together in a explosion of events. Erika is very likable and has her secrets and so does Noah. Will their love be enough to see them through the rough tides? Great book, will written and can't wait for the next book!

I enjoyed the story, I was very interested in these two different characters/shifters. Erika has a past she doesn't like to discuss and has been hurt. She was very back and forth, maybe too much, with how to go forward. Noah has his own secrets. I would have liked to see some more editing, there were some time frame questions and the writing could have flowed easier. There were other characters that sparked my interest and hope we get to dig in to their lives as well.

This book pulled me in from the very start, and I ended up binge reading it until I finished it. Erika and Noah were both awesome characters, and perfect mates for each other. I really enjoyed following their story and watching them fall in love, and work towards their HEA. It was a cute, fun book, that was well written, and a good addition to the series. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I was gifted a copy.

Loved Erika and Noah's story !! Neither was looking for love or even companionship, yet snow and a chance meeting at She fting Impulse nightclub sets them on the path to matehood, that Noah never knew existed due to being from another world. Excellent story with some hot shifter sex and a few twists. Hope his brother's story is next. 4⭐'s. I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

I had such fun with this book! Erika is awesome, but a cad has dimmed her shine, and Noah is just plane lonely, even if he wouldn't agree. After being burned by love, or just not buying into it, I enjoyed Erika and Noah's journey to realizing what they have as fated mates is special. Fun, funny, and sexy, plus a few thrills, this book is highly enjoyable, and easy to read. The pages flow well, making this feel like a short read, but it's well constructed.

I particularly liked Noah and Erika's shifter sides, definitely an interesting pairing, the story was good but didn't always flow well, seemed bitty at times and some things for me were unfinished/unexplained like, why didn't they return for Noah and who/what is that voice ? I don't know if there will be a follow up that will answer these questions but some of the other characters seemed like they have a story to tell so hopefully there will.

Second book in the Lured by Fire series and it was a fairly fast read. Erika Williams a human is divorced and after two years of being alone has decided to move on with her life, she meets Dragon shifter Noah Crosso they are not suppose to have feelings for each other.What happens? I enjoyed reading this book.I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

MARKED DRAGON is the second book in the Lured by Fire series. It does stand on its own, but I would still recommend reading them in each and in the order of release as well as the series from which this spins off.
Janet’s first Lured by Fire event at SI is set to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but after so many successful previous events this one isn’t looking good – mostly due to the weather. The event had been so built up in the first book that I was disappointed in the non-event presented in the second book.
On the other hand, the story of Noah and Erika from meet cute to epilogue is entertaining, intriguing, and sexy naked-time at its best. I don’t want to give away any of the unique aspects of the story (and there are many), but I will say that these two are H.O.T!
This is the first time I have had to split my Grammar and editing grade the way that I did because usually one grade will cover both. Ms. Woodlove’s grammar is fine in this book and I found very few errors, but as an erstwhile editor I would have called this a lovely second draft and asked her to organize her thoughts and her presentation a little more tightly. It was like being within the mind of a person with ADHD. I liken this to a woman with too many chores and not enough hours in the day (a state I understand all too well). You’ve taken the time to make a list, now put them in the order that will get them done most efficiently. There was also some of Noah’s backstory that needed more explanation to be clearer, including his timeline.
Bottom line: While I do feel this one was rushed to publication, I wouldn’t miss a Woodlove story. I know that I -will love- every one of them!
