The path I was determined to walk has forked. I either go with him for something wild that fills my senses or I finish him and his club forever. Just like I had always planned.

Ok I️ am not rating this out of respect for the author.
I️ am a fan of hers and this may have just been a speed bump but I️ wasn’t feeling anything at all with this story. I️ am so surprised because the first book in this series was a Home Run and when I️ saw this on sale I️ couldn’t wait to get started but boy did I️t fall flat for me. I️ ended up reading about 60% and then just skipped until the end because I️ was so bored. There was way too much inner description of her family’s past that I️ found boring and honestly skipped over a lot just to see where these two were heading and I️t ended up a snooze fest sadly for me.
I️ am still a fan and will continue reading other books by this author unfortunately this one just didn’t make the grade with me this time around:(

To me this book started a little slow but it picked up quickly and was really good. I loved how Benz knew what he wanted and fought for it. Thought he made a big mistake with his note but it worked out better that way.

I wasn't crazy about Jen at first with the lies but if that's what you grow up being taught then it's going to take time to figure it all out for herself. When she waited six months and was in the wrong I didn't think she deserved him but when she got the true history and put it out there she gained most of my respect back.

There was the same problem that happened in both of the first two books and it was fine but hopefully the author will come up with a different plan in the third book. Guess I'll be finding out soon.

Rated for adults who likes all the steamy naughty bits in their books.

Benz and Jen's story didn't work for me. It was enjoyable to read but the trope was almost the same as the first book in the series. You change a little the details and you have a new story... a boring one but it can considered new... I hope the next book in the series has a different trope...

Jen comes from a family of Texas Rangers and is determined to follow the same path. When an opportunity arises to seek revenge on the MC club her father's killer belonged to, Jen is all in. She never expected to develop feelings for their member Benz or the way he made her feel. Nor did she anticipate that she could be wrong about everything she believed in.

I liked this story well enough but not as much as the first book. Jen is extremely judgmental and not a very likable person. For someone with a criminal justice degree who's trying to make a mark for herself, her being so naive didn't make sense. She had done no research into the club members and their identities and just kinda showed up in town. She and Benz were around each other on no more than 3 different occasions and they're completely in love. Jen is running to the local cops and making assumptions on one-sided conversations and Benz is risking his position with the MC. The actions of these characters weren't realistic and it all felt rushed. It was obvious Jen and Benz were attracted to each other, and the sex scenes are a little on the bland side and PG for sure. Safe reading for those readers who like to use their imagination. There's not a lot of action and it's pretty tame for a typical MC club book.

This is the second book in the Dark Saints MC series. I really enjoyed the conflict between Benz and Jen. They have such great chemistry, but could two people be so different but yet so right? The author did a great job with the storyline, I found myself sucked into it from the start.
Benz is the Dark Saint’s Sergeant in Arms; the club is in his blood, his only living family. So therefore he lives by the code and will do anything in his power to not break it, until her. Jen has graduated from the police academy and comes from a long line of Texas Rangers, she is determined to follow that path and make her daddy proud, even if he’s not around to see it.
I did find Jen to be distrustful and judgmental, but she’s only human as we all have made bad decisions based on hearsay. I did feel she redeemed herself in the end. The attraction between the characters was fast maybe a little too fast to be called love. You’ll have to read it to see what happens. This book does have action, suspense, and some super hot sexy time. If you like books with good girls and sexy bad boys than this is a book for you. If you hadn’t read the first in the series it’s ok, I felt this story could be read as a standalone.

Another really good read in the Dark Saints series although this one did fall a little flat for me compared to the first book, Dark Vow, I loved reading about Benz and his story with Jen though.
I loved Benz’s first chapter and how strong he appeared right from the beginning, I really enjoyed reading about his character. I wasn’t a fan of Jen’s through this book. There was something about her that annoyed me quite a bit and it was hard to connect with her character which made the read a little slow going for me during her parts of the story. But I loved their interactions with each other and hers with the MC, there were some very hot moments between those two including a little humour.
I found that some parts of the story jumped for me while reading it, which had me a little confused as I thought some scenes continued which in fact didn’t and was a completely different day in the book.
A fairly good read, I loved the storyline but in my opinion wasn’t as great as the first book although I loved Benz and still quite enjoyed it. Can’t wait for Zig’s story next!

She thinks his MC has something to do with her father's death. At least that is what her grandmother always told her.

So Jenny is in town to find something to bring the MC down, but what she finds is Benz. A hot Dark Saints member. There are Sparks flying between them and they are playing with each other till the moment she takes up his offer to meet up.
What happens in the alley is so hot!

Later on she finds out who he is, the son of the man who had to do with the death of her father! and she hears something to bring them down and she acts on it.

The outcome is different as he thought it would be.
Benz is mad at her big time, but can't give up on her either.

How this turns out between two people who care for each other, but with their past in between them next to him being and MC member and she wanting to be a ranger.
Will it be a happily ever after end? For that you have to read the book.
If you are into MC book, you sure won't regret reading this fantastic story

If you are a fan of this author’s work, then this book will not disappoint.
Dark Temptation is the second book in this series, though it can be read as a standalone. Jenny Guffy grew up hearing that her daddy was killed by a Dark Saints biker, so she forms a plan to slowly work her way towards bringing them down for the crime, the only problem is she didn’t expect any feelings to develop for the hot biker, Benjamin “Benz” Bass. Benz knew the moment he met Jen that she belonged to him, and after one kiss, he knew he would do anything to protect her – even turn against his MC. But when they discover who the other actually is, Jen turns against Benz, his Prez orders him to do the one thing he can’t, eliminate the problem. Can the past issues between Jenny and the club be resolved? And will Benz be able to keep her safe while trying to find a solution? Or will someone else step in and do the job Benz can’t?

Dark Saints MC club and I am Benz and I ride and live by the code of the Dark Saints they helped me in a dark time and they are my family so I would rather die then give them up but that is when I meet her Jen she is fresh out of Police Academy and she hate everything I stand for my motorcycle gang and Her Father died with a bullet from one of the old gang or so she thought I do not know but I want her so bad I would give up the gang for her but someone wants her too or do they lol good exciting hot sexy read both hating each other for what they stand for but deep down loving each other more. This is the 2nd book in this great series, and is Benz and Jen’s story. Benz is the Sergeant is Arms of his MC, and Jen is a graduate from the police academy, who is aspiring to be a ranger and follow in the rest of her families footsteps. Jen’s dad is killed in the line of duty, and Jen is determined to go undercover and infiltrate the MC as she is convinced they are responsible. The chemistry between Benz and Jen is off the charts, but what will happen when Benz finds out who Jen actually is? No spoilers, this is a must read for all MC lovers!
This is a well written storyline, which had me hooked and intrigued from the very beginning with all of the twists and suspense. Cannot wait to read the next book in this awesome series!

Excellent contemporary motorcycle club romance. Jen came to town under the guise of putting the town's history onto digital. She has her criminal justice degree and has been through the police academy. Her grandmother raised her to hate the Dark Saints motorcycle club and her goal is to take them down. Benz sees the temporary librarian and interest sparks. Jen tries to use information she overheard Benz talking about against the club. Obviously, he doesn't know her real reason for being there. Suddenly, She's on the wrong side with the club and gets involved in stuff that'd be bad for the entire town. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. There's lots of intrigue, suspense and loving. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Blue.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Benz is a member of the Dark Saints MC. Jen has her heart set to be a Ranger like her great grandfather and her father. She isn't quite at a Ranger level yet and has a while to prove herself in a man's world in Texas. She has the opportunity to show her worth and skills and moves to Port Azrael and tries to find out the truth in her father's murder.
Benz was saved and owes his life to his Dark Saints family. I liked the loyalty and support the members had for each other. Jen and Benz relationship was ok for me, I didn't feel a strong connection with them. It was a good story and I enjoyed the other MC characters.

As much as I liked the book Dark Vow, the first book in the Dark Saints MC series, I liked this book more!! Benz and Jen are well crafted, interesting, slightly flawed characters. She was brought by a bitter grandmother up to believe one thing about the Dark Saints and he is a Dark Saint and conceders them all family. She is stunned to find out how wrong she was about so much of her life and wants only to repair the damage she done. This book reads fast, has passion, and great chemistry between Benz and Jen. I cannot wait for Dark Honor, Zig's story. Great job Jayne.

Good read

This book was OK. Not as good as the first book in Dark Saints though. I need more than a I love you after two days. That's not love its lust. As for her, I didn't care for her that much. Plus I don't find woman cops sexy at all when paired with a biker. Plus she is a bit of a wuss. She doesn't even check her facts first. Liked her better as a librarian. That would have been a better story. But after reading the ending maybe there is more for them and that's why she is portrayed as a cop. I hope EZ gets a story. He seems hot. And please no reporter or lawyer female characters next. Hate those and never read them. This book is full if drama and sex.

They Are Connected In More Ways

An ARC was given to me and I agreed to voluntarily review it. My opinions are my own. This second story in this new series is intense, exciting and hot. She has already come to conclusions without know all of the facts. He's allowed a yellow dress to fog his brain and put him in a situation that he may not be able to handle. This is a very good and entertaining read. Enjoy I did.

Jen has a lot to prove, and has some preconceived perceptions coloring her view. Benz has a job to do for his club. All of that flies off in the wind when the two bump into each other and sparks ignite. Benz & Jen have off the chart chemistry and can't keep their hands off each other...in spite of personal and club issues. They have a very twisty path to follow if they want a HEA. I am loving this series!

This author's books are always great. Love the MC books. She is the law. He is a outlaw biker. She sees a wrong that needs to be fixed and there is always more to it than there seems. A great action packed story.

Jen starts to investigate her father's death, her plan is to get close to the MC gang she's sure was involved to see what evidence she can stir up.
Well she certainly stirs up Benz, from the moment they meet its fireworks.

Hook line and sinker

Jen is a cop and comes from a decorated past. Both her dad and grandfather were Texas Rangers. Not taken seriously by her male counterparts she embarks on an undercover operation to uncover the truth about her father's death. During this she gets and learns more than she bargained for.

I really enjoy MC romances and this is a good read. Benz and Jen have hot chemistry. They have very different perspectives but are drawn together. There is action and intrigue as well as the romance and it keeps it all interesting.

I'm loving this series! The characters and story are complex, compelling, rich, bold, dark, honest, flawed in a good way, down to earth, and smokin' hot too. Jayne Blue has a great knack for characters that are memorable and perfection of the ultimate book boyfriend too. I look forward to my next adventure in this series.

Great romance. She wants nothing more then to take down the Saints becuase they are responsible for killing her father who was a texas ranger. when she meets Ben little does she know that's the son of her father's murderer. Will they be able to fall in love and stay together.

This one was just meh for me. The story was predictable and a little boring. There was hardly any buildup and then the ending was rushed. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the Great Wolves series..
