Recent National Geographic special editions in Hebrew have left me unimpressed due to poor image choices and a lack of cohesion. However, Your Brain, A User’s Guide: 100 Things You Never Knew was a welcome exception. Its structure felt logical, and the topic allowed for fewer photographs and more illustrations—a strength of NG’s illustration team. While the photography wasn’t remarkable, this was less of an issue here, as mentioned. I’m not entirely sold on the '100 facts' format, though some of the facts were quite entertaining. A few did feel random and disconnected. The translation was, as always, excellent. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, earning a solid three stars out of five.

“The brain is deeper than the sea.” - Emily Dickenson
This book is full of interesting facts and great pictures about the human brain. Some of the medical terms were a bit hard to understand, but it’s still a good read for anyone curious about the topic.

Loved the little brain challenges but the electronic version was awkward and, sometimes, quite impossible.

I like the "unconscious brain" chapter concerning the sleep stages and sleep levels.
