A steamy contemporary royal romance from bestselling authors Renna Peak and Ember Casey. All six episodes now available in a complete box set.
When I accidentally wished for my own Prince Charming, I never expected him to actually show up.
But life never is as simple as making a wish—and while Prince Leopold is definitely charming, he’s also cocky. And arrogant. And a huge playboy. He’s everything I’ve promised myself I’d stay away from.
So why can’t I seem to resist him?
There’s no way Prince Leo is actually interested in a normal girl like me. No way he’ll ever be able to overcome his womanizing ways to be the prince of my dreams. And the more time I spend with him, it’s clear he has almost as many secrets as me.
I’m only sure of one thing—if I give him what he wants, he’s going to break my heart.

First book was great. Both characters had strong personalities plus an attraction between them. But it goes down hill from there. She treats him like crap and he keeps letting it happen. I truly wanted to stop by book 4. But I continued. It’s truly heartbreaking how she treats him. And it’s right up to the end. Horrible, just horrible.
I don't like how the book is split up but I do the the story overall. It is a cute romance, even with all of Elle's nuances. She was at times a bit much to take and I felt she overreacted quite a bit. Will continue this series because I'm interested to see what happens with Andrew and Victoria.
I borrowed this collection through Amazon Prime's first look and read it over the New Year's vacation. I don't think this collection needs to broken into six separate books as this is clearly a way to get readers to spend more money. I'm all for authors being paid for their work, but as a reader, I don't appreciate being manipulated.
12-30-2019 Book #1 - 5 stars I liked this so much more than I expected. The relationship between Elle and Leo is fascinating, both of them holding tightly to their secrets and refusing to open up to one another. But both of them want more, so I'm curious to see where this goes. My only complaint is that it ends as cliffhanger, but since I have the complete collection, I can go ahead and read the next one.
12-31-2019 Book #2 - 5 stars Of course, I realized this was likely to end as another cliffhanger, but I didn't see this coming. Elle and Leo have finally given in to their attraction. I guess it's really Elle who has finally given in because Leo was ready the moment they meet. But now he feels something more for her and the two of them are just realizing how untenable their situation is. As he admits on the final page, this isn't going to end well.
12-31-2019 Book #3 - 5 stars Wow! Each book in this series ends too quickly and abruptly for my liking. It seems one of them is always running away from the other, and it's so frustrating. Actually, what's most frustrating is the refusal of both of them to be honest with one another, and as a result, the mysteries they each hide are killing me! The authors' ability to build suspense and drag out the mystery is commendable, if exasperating. It's another cliffhanger, of course. I have to keep reminding myself that they will find their happy ending.
1-1-2019 Book #4 -5 stars Yet again, we have a bit of a cliffhanger, but at least neither Leo nor Elle is running away from the other. Their story is told poignantly and emotions are conveyed adeptly. There has been and is no doubt of their love for one another, a love that can survive great sacrifice.
Side note: Why did Lady Karina say, "I was looking for one more good fuck before…fuck, just forget it."??
1-1-2019 Book #5 -5 stars Elle's insecurities are beginning to irk me. Why would she allow a member of the royal staff, a man who clearly has no respect for her or for Leo, manipulate her into doing anything?! And Leo is suddenly coming to realize what he may need to give up, in reality, if he wants Elle in his life. It's not a cliffhanger this time, but there is some uncertainty.
1-1-2019 Book #6 - 5 stars It was a tense, painful, but ultimately satisfying conclusion to a rollercoaster romance. Whew! I was beginning to worry these two might never get on the same page. What a ride! And my question regarding Lady Karina was answered.
>Book Review – Royal Heartbreakers; The Complete Series
>I am an independent reviewer. This series contains 6 books. The series ends in an HEA. Elle is a doctor with a checkered past. She meets a playboy prince who falls hard for her. I loved how Leo kept trying to buy Elle things to impress her, but Elle just wanted him. Elle’s past involved some forced teacher/student sexual behavior that Elle feels extreme guilt over. Of course the Royals are going to find out about Elle’s sordid past and use it to try and make Elle go away.
>The plot was fun. Elle and Leo really seem to want to be together. Leo keeps trying, but Elle runs hot and cold throughout all 6 books. At first she uses her profession as a reason to stay away from Leo. As the books progress, Elle seems to forget her profession. She never really tries to find a job. Her calling suddenly seems unimportant. Elle also tells Leo to be the man he should be and step up with another woman when a scandal erupts. When Leo does what Elle wants, Elle is furious. Elle was a very confusing character.
>There is a secret involving Leo and his brother, Andrew. This secret is referenced many times, but never revealed. The book needs to work on rounding out all the edges of the story. This series is appropriate for an adult audience. The only place Elle and Leo are in sync is in bed. No relationship can survive such a one sided attraction. I am giving the series 3 stars.
While I did enjoy this box set there were frustrations throughout. Prince Leopold is a jerk. If there ever a man ruled by his penis, Leo is it. He has little knowledge of women or of life outside of seeing how many he can bed. He jumps to ideas, conclusions at the speed of light only to change his mind when he thinks up the next foolish idea. How many times can he “figure it out” only to realize that supposition isn’t working and blindly rush into the next light bulb moment. I felt like stopping with the series a few times but the writing was engaging and if there were spelling or grammatical mistakes they weren’t enough to put me off. All in all I am glad I read that box set through to the end. I have started with book one of The Royal Mistake series.
I got this book because it was free and free books are usually hit or miss for me.
I love this type of romance and usually devour them in one sitting. This series however....
I didn't realize I was finished with the first book until I saw the title page for book 2. It was very boring and bland and I found myself easily distracted with other things and forgetting where I was.
The characters have no real chemistry and barely know each other and yet they want to bed each other right away. I felt there was no real growth with the characters or anything really likable about them.
.These are a series of Would keep you frustrated that you would want to throw your IPad across the room. The characters Leo and Elle are so pathetic you would wonder if they are worthy human being.Elle self esteem was so low I keep asking my self how the hell didshe became a Doctor. As women we all been lie to by someone. Why did she keep dwelling on the past.Leo the play boy prince was so used to having every thing he wants that Elle was just any thing to him.Can Leo change his play boy ways .I think that leave to seen.Or would Elle has the Guts to stop running and fight for the love she needs.
The characters are so immature that it is tiring to read. The tug and pull, avoiding talking, keep everything inside each of them. All I’m reading is their thoughts and when they start talking, they are avoiding the questions, and not finishing their sentences. I grew tired of the charades, and skipping most of it. But I’m still halfway there. So I decided to just stop reading. Cant stand having to skip to the end.
I tried to read this TWICE. I love royal books, but the writing for this series is just horrible. On my first attempt I only got 8% into the first book, on my second attempt I suffered to 25% and it wasn't getting any better. There are technical errors and racism in the pages that I did read. This one gets tossed out.
