When Bella stumbles upon her dead sister’s diary, she sets out on a mission to find her sister’s killer, but it leads her to the wrong side of town.
And right into the path of Rocco, a loner, a bad boy, who is determined to keep her away. After all, you protect your own, and Bella certainly doesn’t belong with the likes of him.
But it’s hard to move on when you’re chained to the past, and Bella is intent on getting justice for her sister…even if it’s at the cost of her own life.

Bloody destroyed me.... Prepare to be destroyed but it is a beautiful amazing book!
"I loved this book I want to talk more but that means spoilers and it was really hard writing this without spoiling you guys so I’m probably going to do a spoiler one later on. But this book was heartbreakingly beautiful and I do think this probably just became my top book of 2017. But oh I love it. I also cried I can’t tell you why though!"
Awww ♥ I miei ciccini!!!
No?

Usually I'll write a review pretty much straight after I finish reading but with Reliving Fate, I felt that needed a while to get my thoughts in order. I've not read a book that's made me feel like this, in quite a while and in my opinion, it's Natasha best book yet.
Right up until quite near the end of Reliving Fate, With the band was still my favourite Natasha Preston book but only just, then everything changed.
Bella finds her dead sister's diary and decide to try and find out exactly why she died. To do this she heads into the bad side of town and the first person she meets is Rocco. Despite feeling that they shouldn't be together, they find themselves drawn to each other.
I loved, loved, loved Reliving Fate, Bella and Rocco’s story. From the moment I started it, I found it very hard to put down and get on with life, I just wanted to keep reading it.
I found myself relating to Bella in parts as I don't always like to show too much emotion or like a fuss about things.
The way that Natasha writes the emotions between Bella and Rocco is simply breathtaking. I had so many favourite quotes, I almost felt that I was highlighting half the book. Bella and Rocco’s story is simply beautiful.
WOW!! what an amazing story it was such an emotional read I was all over the bloody place, but I couldn't put it down. I may have wanted to scream, I definitely cried but I laughed and swooned over Rocco so I'd say it was definitely worth it.
Bella is a girl on a mission, she wants answers. After finding her dead sisters diary she's hoping to find clues that will lead to her killer.
In her quest for justice she's led to the wrong side of town which isn't a safe place to be. Whist there she comes face to face with Rocco the gorgeous but mysterious bad boy.
Rocco is a loner he's lived in the rough parts of town his whole life, he's streetwise and knows the area well. He knows the people too. So when he spots a girl hanging around he immediately knows she doesn't belong. He's drawn to her, but knows it's not safe so he tries to make her leave for her own safety.
Things aren't that simple for Bella she wants justice for her sister it has become an obsession to her, she can't rest until she gets closure. So getting close to the local bad boy may be her only hope of finding answers.
This was a fantastic story you can't help being swept along with these characters. I loved Bella she's a little firecracker with a great sense of humour and sarcasm. I loved her little quirks she cracked me up. You just can't help but love Rocco he's such a strong character he doesn't get close to people and trust does not come easy for him. That is until he meets Bella and she changes everything.
One things for sure these two meeting will change their lives forever, some might say it was fate who knows for sure.
Fantastic book with some OMFG!!! moments where you really want to slap a bitch. I never saw that end until it happened, my Jaw was on the floor. It's one story that'll stay with me. I loved it. 💗
I purchased this book on its release day. Yes, Reliving Fate has been sitting on my kindle since 23rd June 2017. I love this author's work. Natasha Preston is one of my one click authors. History shows that what I will read from her, I will love. Why did I leave it so long to read you may ask? Well to be honest I think all readers get sidetracked from their reading plan but we tend to get there eventually. However there are times, like this one, where you just want to kick yourself for not reading a book sooner.
What can I say about this book without spoilers? First of all it is OUTSTANDING!! This will definitely be one of my top reads not only of the year but of all time, that is for certain and deserves more than the five stars I can award it. I felt the author wrote the most perfect story..... true to what was meant to be. The book was one that I struggled to put down, in fact it got to a certain point and even if my house was on fire I couldn't have not continued reading this incredible story. Emotionally Reliving Fate had everything - there was angst, sadness, humour, love, joy and heartache. I swooned over Rocco - he will forever be a favourite character of mine. Bella and her family - well you know from the blurb that they have lost a daughter/sister, and my heart aches for all of them but especially for Bella because as you may have read, she tries to seek justice for her sister and you need to know the reason why!
An unforgettable story that will have me deep in thought and probably drying my eyes for quite some time. It is one that I feel everyone must read and I am certain you will love it just as much as I did.
After the discovery of a Diary ( her dead sisters ) Bella is hellbent on a journey for answers. Upon this discovery she meets Rocco a mysterious stranger who ignites things within she has never felt before.
Rocco is the bad boy on the wrong side of town, noticing a strange girl lingering , he takes it upon himself to watch over her and protect her from the darkness surrounding.
Bella wants Justice for the death of her sister and will do anything in order to find this strange man that her sister pens within her diary.
The path Bella hunts for leads her into a dangerous one. Even if it means following the steps of the Bad boy to find her answers.
The author creates intrigue and mystery within the pages. We are kept on the edge of our seat on many occasions and I have to say the ending was something I did not predict. Not an ending I hoped for but certainly closure for Bella to move forward.
The story certainly sweeps you along, the sassy sense of humor from Bella keeps us amused. Her and Roccos antics certainly lightened the dark mood within the pages.
Rocco was a strong character , you cant but fall in love with the bad boy .. Fate brought him and Bella together and Fate found its ending.
A solid plot and suspenseful story will keep you reading till you read the very last words..
I wanted to toss my reader at the wall lol.
Suspenseful, Unpredictable, and A mystery that slowly unravels.
I actually really loved this book. I was surprised. I don't know why I was surprised. Perhaps it was because the last few books I had read were just complete duds? I don't know. But it was just a breath of fresh air that I very much needed!
The cover is what pulled me in first! I think it's gorgeous. But the story? The characters? The twists and turns..I absolutely loved it all. There were times when I thought "Oh, okay I think I figured this out.." but turns out that - NOPE. I sure didn't! Ha, I love being surprised in a story. I love that Natasha Preston with the first book I've ever read by her, had surprised me! I can not WAIT to read more from her.
I laughed and cried with this book, I think you all will.
I'm sure someone out there will find fault in it SOMEWHERE or complain about certain parts, but it felt like a real story; something that could have happened in real life to a person you might know or someone they might know.
So I hope you all read it and enjoy it like I did!
Bella’s sister was killed 12 years ago, and since then Bella has pretty much put her life on hold because she wants to find the killer. Her investigations take her to the bad part of town where she meets Rocco.
I love Bella she's addicted to tv and she's so sarcastic and witty, and not afraid to speak her mind. I love the banter between her and Rocco. Rocco is a fighter and at first he seems a little difficult and a bit nasty, but Bella soon wins him over.
This is such a brilliant story not only is there a romance but there is a little mystery. There's many twists and I can safely say I did not see any of them coming. Reliving Fate really does take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, I went from laughing to being sat on the edge of my seat in anticipation for what was to come!
Go into this one blind and be prepared for anything! Can't recommend this enough! Five stars!
Bella suffered the great loss of her sister Celia being killed. She finds her sister's diary and is determined to get Celia justice. She goes to the wrong side of town and runs into Rocco. He is everything she shouldn't want but on her quest to find her sister's killer she knows he becomes everything she needs. Bella will give up everything to find the truth but it may cost her more than she expected. WOW! What can I say about this book. So many twists and turns. Did not expect the ending at all. This book is about how the past can stop your future if you let it. Bella and Rocco are such strong characters. This story is amazing and beautifully written. Natasha Preston has a talent for keeping you on the edge of your seat and wanting to look around that dark corner. I loved this book and it is one I HIGHLY recommend to others.
I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this one. I have been a massive fan of Natasha Preston for a while now but Relieving Fate is by far my favourite!!!
Bella found her older sisters (Celia) body after she had been brutally murdered when she was just a young child herself.
Growing up with the never ending feeling that the police missed something she feels the distance growing between her twin sister and her parents. Years later she stumbles across Celia's diary and decides to investigate herself for closure.
In the search for clues she ends up in the wrong side of town and meets Rocco - dark and mysterious and from a different world to the one she grew up in. But does he hold the answers she is desperately seeking.....?
Gut wrenching emotion riddled with in every page of this novel. If you are looking for some suspense, debauchery, underbelly crime, and maybe the beginnings of a love story, THIS is it.
I wasn't sure what to expect, this is my first book my Natasha and I was compelled to read by just the blurb.
Getting to be in the same space as Bella and her family, even if she doesn't show much respect for them, was such a pleasure. I can't say I would do things differently if presented the same hardships and struggles in my life. Rocco makes it known that he doesn't approve of her hanging around where she is, because of where she is from. Also, he has no idea what she is doing on the wrong side of the tracks.
I was hooked from the start of this book. I am so glad I had the chance to read it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💫 Bella is determine to find her sister’s killer. After keeping a secret to herself for so long, she finally opens up to her boyfriend, bad boy Rocco. They both find themselves falling head over heels for each other although they are from “different sides of the track.” Their love for each is unbreakable as it causes tension between her and her family. He vows to help her find her sister’s killer only to protect her from the dangers he knows can happen where he’s from. • This story was addicting! It had me pleasantly annoyed, intrigued, laughing, AND emotional.
4.5 My first book by this author and although I found myself getting a little frustrated with the main character I found it to be a great story. I was anxious to find out how Celia died how Bella was gonna find who did it. Just so many questions I needed answers too 😩 I like that it had me on the edge, I thought I had an idea but I was all wrong lol
Ok I didn’t really like most of the book but the last 50 pages tore my heart into shreds. I cried-LITERALLY CRIED at the end when I thought I kinda hated this book. But wow, that ending was DEVASTATING!😭😭
Crapy book. DNF at 22% Yeah, I listened to the very end to see if it was gonna have a happy ending, but I should've known that wouldn't be the case. Stupid book with a stupid end.🙄
BORRRRING the love interest is such a romanticized sexist abusive looser and they skip over the whole murder aspect of the book and just put hundreds of mediocre pages about them falling in love. I expected better from natasha.
Reliving Fate is a standalone novel. It is also the first book I have read by Natasha Preston. I just had to have the book after we were sent the cover to share. I love it. But the synopsis drew me too. The mystery. The bad boy. I will make this short and sweet.
Bella's older sister was killed twelve years ago. The authorities said it was a burglary gone wrong but she just knew that wasn't the full story. Since the day she died, Bella's life changed. She isn't like the rest of her family. She isn't perfect. She doesn't want what her twin sister wants. Now, that she is eighteen, she is determined more than ever to find Celia's killer. And after finding Celia's diary...it was a sign that this is what she has to do. And it brings her to the wrong side of the tracks.
Rocco doesn't know why this girl is here. She doesn't belong. She could get hurt being here. He tries to get her to leave but she is determined to piss him off. And damn, does it turn him on. She is not what he was expecting from a girl like her. Beautiful. Clearly not from here. She is feisty, and has a edge to her. Since she won't leave and sees her over and over again, he feels that he needs to protect her. To show her around. He doesn't know what she is looking for but he likes being around her. He has never felt this way before but is it worth her safety? He should find a way to make her leave for good.
Bella doesn't want to tell Rocco the real reason why she is here. She doesn't know who she can trust. She can't throw this chance away. But what if he could help? Would he? She knows he likes her but how much? Enough to get in her pants or to more?
Will she find the killer?
I thought the story was awesome! It had the perfect blend of mystery, heart, sexiness, and sarcasm. This couple knows how to push each other's buttons. Fighting is their foreplay. Sarcasm is like a game. There is also more to them that I loved. Bella is strong and determined. She sees more in Rocco then anyone ever has and it's beautiful. Rocco is protective, funny, and sexy. Together, they make for one fun ride.
Overall...it rocked. If summer didn't get in the way I would have finished it in a day. I laughed, cried, and felt her pain. I am looking forward to reading more books by Natasha.
Quotes:
“Don’t say things you know are untrue; it’s embarrassing. We both know it’s only a matter of time.” “You bastard!” “Cut the offended shit, Bella. I’m cool with giving you time, so you can justify it to yourself, but don’t ever deny the inevitable.”
“Rocco, you are my sanity in a world full of crazy.”
“Shut up, idiot. Men do romance. So…romance me.” “Right now?” I nod. “But I need prep time. And by that, I mean, I need to Google it.”

This is my very first novel read by Natasha Preston. Was my expectation high? Yes. Did I know what to expect? No. Was I hoping for brilliance? Yes.
And that is exactly what I got.
The struggle to write this review is real guys. My emotions right now are all over the place. My heart is broken, I have that dull ache in my chest and I'm still wiping my tears. This novel has destroyed me. And I absolutely loved it.
We meet Bella. Her sister was murdered when she was only six years old. Guilt consumes Bella. And after twelve long years, Bella still has one thing on her mind. Revenge. Her sisters killer was never caught, but Bella will put her whole life on hold to bring justice and peace to her family. But at what cost?
Will Bella find the truth? What monsters lurk in the shadows? Will Bella find solace? Or will it ultimately destroy her life?
And Rocco? Who is he? What part does he play? Can he give her the answers that Bella is so desperately seeking?
I honestly don't want to say anything more other than you definitely need to read this. It's raw, confronting, sinfully delicious, heartbreaking and breathtaking. It's edge of your seat suspense, gut-wrenching and everything in between. It's a beautiful disaster.
Thank you Natasha Preston for giving such an emotional read. It will stay with me for a very long time.
Reliving Fate by Natasha Preston Where do I start with my review? First of all, “Reliving Fate” deserves more than 5 stars. The Character development was beautifully written and captured. You like both characters and the banter will have you smiling. You become so emotionally invested in this story. It is not a simple love story, it is so much more. The suspense, the plot twist, the angst, the building climax and the romance will keep you engrossed. Bella’s older sister was murdered 12 years prior and Bella has just recently found her diary. She is hell bent on finding the truth as to who killed her sister. The clues in the diary lead her to the wrong side of town where she meets bad boy Rocco. Rocco’s life has been anything but easy. When he meets Bella, she is like nobody he has ever met and she changes the course of his life. He learns to love for the first time and it is a beautiful connection between them. Bella cannot move on with her future life until she finds her sister’s murderer. Her journey takes her on a course that is a beautiful disaster. This story is breathtakingly beautiful and equally heart breaking. This story will forever be ingrained in my memory as one of the most gut wrenching and emotional reads that totally destroyed me. This is the first book I have read by Natasha Preston and one I don't think I will forget in an instant. I struggled to get into the begining of the book but as it went along, I was captivated by Nataha's words. The twist in the story was not one I was expecting. I was so shocked. However, I totally loved it. It added a dimension to the story that was not expected.
Bella just wants the truth. She wants the person who murdered her sister to pay. To be held accountable.
On her journey she meets Rocco. The bad boy. He doesn't let anyone into his life and his heart. However, there is something diffrent about Bella. Something intreaguing.
Will the search for the truth lead to more heartache or will it cost Bella her life?
The journey that Bella and Rocco go on is intense. A whirlwind romance. One of true love and not even family can break.
