She is his biggest regret and the only person he ever came close to breaking all the rules to have. He broke her, and it has taken ten years to forgive him the problem is will she ever be able to forget him?
Aiden "Whiskey" Frost decided to leave Defiance Kentucky ten years ago with a screw you that would make a lasting impression. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only thing he left behind. The actions he put into motion cost him more than he knew. Regret, he has lived with it so long, now the question is can he change it into something else. Or will the only woman he has ever loved run the other way when he no longer has her under his control.
Addison Sinclair has loved only one man her entire life, Aiden "Whiskey" Frost. She knew him as a boy and then the young man that broke her into a million little pieces before leaving town without looking back. Addy is in trouble and needs help. The RBMC can provide that to her, but Whiskey is a part of them, their family, she is nothing just a blip from his past. Even if it kills her there comes a time when surviving means more than your pride and Addy has hit that time. Addy will do what she has to protect and save the people she cares about even if she has to forgive and forget.
Will he help or will he turn her away? The bigger question can she forgive him for the past and finally move forward or will he finally destroy what little of herself she has at last found.

Whiskey was back in town after being gone for 10 years. He also was still in love with his girl Addison but needed answers to his questions over what she had done. Addison is on the run, someone wants her famlies farm, when fear becomes to much she gives the deed to the MC. Trouble is brewing, things are becoming heated as enemies bring war to their doors.
This book had me from page one. The past has come back to haunt Addison. She never expected to have to deal with Aiden "Whiskey" Frost again. They have a ton of unresolved issues and now Addy has new problems to deal with. Can they resolve the past, keep Addy safe and build something new? All I'm gonna say is read it yourself and find out. I highly recommend that you have a Kleenex handy.
Loved the interaction between the characters as well as the two main characters. Looking forward to reading the other books on this series, and getting to know all of guys in RBMC!
I enjoyed getting to know another Frost brother. I have zero hope for Link but later on he may earn his redemption. As for Whiskey, he grew from a boy to a man. As typical as any man can be anyway, he still suffers from foot in mouth syndrome. At least he has vowed to love Addison and not touch another ever. In my book, treating a woman with respect, taking care of her needs, and not cheating. Damn near perfect.
I love my MC Romances. This book did not disappoint. Addy has had to live a rough life of hard work and no love after losing something no mother should have to. Whiskey has fought for his country, he lives by the code of his brothers. But the one person who has always been in his head betrayed him. His love for has never faded. What is he gonna do to get over her?
Suspenseful, intriguing, and addicting! I could not get enough of Whiskey! Yes I wanted to strangle him a time or two, but loved him nonetheless. Aiden aka Whiskey, and Addy's love story was intense and at times sad but real. Really enjoyed how Addy's character was written. Strong, generous and loyal to a fault. Chelsea definitely kept me at the edge of my seat with this first installment of the RBMC series. Addison hasn't had it easy throughout her life and especially when Aiden comes back to town ten years after he broke her heart. She has managed to avoid him for the past 6 months but you can only hide for so long before the past catches up with you. But before they can even face their ghosts from the past, Addison must seek help when things get too overwhelming, from the one person she's been running from and the MC. Both Addison and Aiden must put their issues aside to deal with the unknown threats lurking right around the corner. Whiskey is a second chance standalone with this own HEA but still has a slight cliffhanger that will tie into the rest of the books in the series which I love. This story is told in third person and easy to follow. This was my first book by Chelsea Hancock, and I for one cannot wait to read Tank's book and the spin off series.
This was a great read for me. An intriguing plot that kept me turning pages. There are minor editing issues but not glaring enough to be a distraction. I am moving along to Tank now, book 2 because I'm hooked!
This story was incredible, outstanding, exciting and just plain sexy as hell 😄! Very touching and ❤moving. Chelsea is an amazing writer and fantastic storyteller 😁!.
Ooh Whiskey...... I really enjoyed this book but felt like it got sidetracked a little. And at times I felt like it wasn't clear who's thoughts were whose.
Whiskey book 1 of the RBMC by Handcock is good. It has it all dirty, raw words, humor, dark scenes, hero's and sexy time between the sheets. In my opinion the dirtier the better. The storyline was strong with a some of a mystery. I enjoyed the story but it has triggers. The only thing that I can say is Handcock needs to make sure names are correct for the characters within the chapter or the facts are the same though out the story. For an example Link was stated as President when he is VP and it was stated in the beginning Whiskey wasn't an officer but later on in the book its states he is an officer, actually an Enforcer, so that was confusing. I can't wait for Tank and Link's stories, I have a feeling Crank and Cathy's story is going to break hearts and bring me to tears. Happy Reading!!!!
Groan...this book was painful to read. It had a promising plot, but just failed in its delivery by the author. There was so much narration I found myself skipping pages at a time. The male protagonist was a f**kface...there, I said it. He told Addison it was her fault he f**ked her over. I mean, he wanted to 'slut up the town good girl' as a final FU before he left to join the forces, and it was her fault because she let him..ummm, nut punch right there. Then he was pissed he was never told about their baby, that she TRIED TO TELL HIM ABOUT FOR YEARS, except he refused all her phone calls and letters. Then it was Addison's fault that two of the club members were brutally assaulted when one of the CLUBS RIVAL MC'S decided to use Addison as a way to get to them. I felt like the author's head was jumping all over the place while writing this book. Things didn't feel consistent, and the heroine needed to grow a serious set of balls. I actually hated that Whiskey and Addison ended up together. I was kind of hoping, that by some small miracle, Addison would flip Whiskey off, thank him for the mediocre orgasms, and jump in her car and leave the county, like she originally planned to do.
I'm not sure if I can bring myself to read book 2, however there is a small part of me intrigued to see if the author grew on this journey and maybe presented more redeeming characters in the next book....
Whiskey was an asshole. I usually forgive some stupidity that happens when couples are 18/19 when they break up and reunite later. Whiskey left for the service after he misunderstood a situation. He cut off all ties to Addison. Addison had no clue why because she had not done anything wrong. He returns home ten years later. She had been trying to avoid him for the 6 months he had been back. I felt he was an angry ass towards her. Once he realizes he was mistaken he still was a jerk. He should have been groveling for awhile. Didn't like the ending. What blew up between Reagan and Tank? Not sure about his book.
I'm going to round out my rating to 3.5 I love second chance romances and that is what drew me to this story. Whiskey was a young man with a chip on his shoulder before he left to join the army. He was determined to leave town with a big FU. What he did is some irreparable damage to someone that has been trying to avoid him since he came back 6 months ago. Addison has too many troubles at her door and avoiding Whiskey is just one more. However she needs help and the MC is the only ones she can turn to. Not being totally honest with them has some major repercussions. Can these two find their way to a future together? Or will the danger surrounding them keep them apart?
This is an ongoing story arc, so I will definitely keep reading to see what else happens. There were editing issues that did pull me out of the story a couple of times, but overall I enjoyed the story. I'm still a bit on the fence about how I feel about Whiskey.
Whiskey and Addison have known each other for a long while, but they broke up under bad circumstances. She now needs the help of his club, and the story is about whether they'll rekindle their relationship and whether the MC will survive the enemy coming for them (and Addison).
The story could have been good, but the writing was quite amateurish with mostly description rather than narrated action and too too many editing problems. It was often hard to even know who was talking.
This was a 2.5 for me but I round up, so it's a goodreads 3.
Whiskey is not a redeemable character for me. He’s the biggest jerkface ever! It ticked me off that Addison took a lot of the blame when I felt it wasn’t fully deserved. I think most of the guys in this book are awful.
This story needed some editing as well. If it had it- it needed more time with it.
I was completely enthralled with this one. It grabbed me and I couldn't stop until the ending. There was so much going on but the focus was on Whiskey/Aiden and Addy/Addison. They had a one night in the backseat of his truck ten years prior, then a misinterpreted event that drove Aiden to enlisting in the Air force. He was gone for ten years and had been back six months and has yet to see Addison, only a glimpse of her as she hurries to leave wherever he shows up. The repercussion of that one act ten years ago might or might not help bring them together... But now she needs the MC. Someone is harassing her and vandalizing her farm and now she is asking for help from the Ruthless Bastards....
I love you too, always have and always will. You are the only woman for me. The woman I want to stand by my side, riding at my back, and sharing my name.
Whiskey and Addy together was perfect. I'm happy that I got Whiskeys side of things though cause no lie, if I didn't I would have stop reading right away. He was kind of an ass. But only at first. You could just feel the love that he has for Addy. I cant wait to read the next book.
The author was constantly shifting focus throughout the entire story, so I just don't understand what the point of this was. The beginning starts with Whiskey talking about his feelings for Addy and their past, and how he blames her for their breakup. The author writes it as if he cared about Addy all that time they were apart. But then as the story progresses, you find out that he came back to town often over the years, and never bothered to check on Addy. And he admits that he didn't actually care about their relationship at all and was just using her to get back at the town.
Then the next part of the book, the author adds in some weird rival MC thing with bad government agents and secret tunnels in caves that apparently everyone knew about, but never talked about. The bad guys are trying to get Addy to give them her farm because the caves are on her land, but she doesn't tell anyone, so the Ruthless Bastards blame her for everything.
And then someone from the rival MC comes to her barn, and there's a super long attempted rape scene that felt totally out of place. And when the first attempt doesn't work, the baddie tries again in her house. But both times, there's an interruption just in the nick of time.
I'm not sure what the point of it was, though. It wasn't suspenseful or nerve-wracking or whatever else the author was going for because - One: The author never made me feel anything for Addy before that point, so I just didn't really care. I just wanted the plot to start going somewhere. Two: The author "saves" Addy because the head bad guy says she needs to be "whole" to get the deed to the farm back (which makes no sense), but then the bad guys brutally rape and beat up another old lady from the MC for no reason off-page. So, the bad guys obviously don't care if the Ruthless Bastards find their women all messed up, so why save Addy?
And then the story switches to focus on Addy agreeing to be Whiskey's old lady to get protection from the bad guys. This part is all about her cleaning the club house and meeting other women who live there. Then she and Whiskey finally have (really boring and PG) sex, but despite nothing much happening, she screams like a porn star and they rock the whole house in their exuberance, and everyone is jealous of the awesome sex they had.
Then the clubhouse gets bombed or something, and Addy saves the day, but Whiskey thought she had set them up even though he never gives any indication prior to that moment that he doesn't trust her. So Addy gets mad, he says he's sorry, the end.
Besides the aimless plot, the author constantly added in new characters with no build up throughout the story, and we never even end up meeting them. Addy's brother, Justin? Some chick named Peyton? Who the heck are these people?
And why did the author have to give everyone such similar names? It's hard for readers, and seemingly hard for the author, too, because even she started mixing them up as the story went along. Tank, Tuck, Talon...Cathy, Cinny, Carri. A few times she called Link the President of the Ruthless Bastards instead of Tuck. Then there was some mention of a fight between Reagan and Tuck at the end of the book, but nothing like that actually happened.
Honestly, this book is just a mess. The timeline doesn't make sense. The fact that Whiskey had no idea that Addy had been pregnant despite coming home on every deployment over the past ten years, and had moved back permanently to the town six months ago, made no sense. The MC blaming Addy for the rival MC attacking them made no sense. The caves, and the rival MC, and the FBI or whatever government body was checking in on them made no sense. Why did they want the caves? Why did they bomb the house? Why didn't they just kill everyone?
And don't even get me started on all the grammatical errors in this thing. Oh my!
There was also no relationship building whatsoever. Heck, there was no character building either. The sex was ridiculously dull and pointless, especially after the author went on and on about how DIRTY the bikers were and how they basically had no-holds barred orgies at their parties every night.
A paragraph of sex in the whole book? Come on now.
Without saying to much to ruin the book for anyone, Whiskey and Addison's story is full of all kinds of emotions. Read the book in one setting because I couldn't put it down. Both characters have issues from the past and when new issues pop up for Addison, can Whiskey and his club brothers keep her safe? This is a must read!!
This was a hard book to get into. I couldn't understand Whiskey's anger at Addy. If anyone had the right to be angry it was Addy. I also don't get why Link interfered with his brother's life. I'm happy how everything turned out and will read the next book before I decide if I'll continue with the series.
