Celestial Mates is back in action and creating more love "across time and space."
On Alva,Drevakin is feeling a tad jealous of the match made by his friend Elorshin to Margot and decides to request his own mate. But unbeknownst to him there is an agreement that when a male from a minor and major house match against the same female, the major house wins the girl (money talks even the future it seems!!!)
Clara is still mourning the loss of her husband 3 yrs prior but is making some steps to trying to find love again. But blind dates are hopeless with Earth males and when a friend tells her of Celestial mates she can't help but feel it's a scam, it's the cynical cop inside of her. But when she is matched to not one but two pricnes she decides she has nothing to lose and goes to Alva.
Fast forward a few weeks and she realises she has been matched the devil himself! Rathorin is cruel and nasty to his servants, demands her full attention and treats her as a possession. Thankfully she has kept him at arms length and not consummated their courtship. But when she comes to the rescue of a lone female in a sticky situation, she is aided by a handsome stranger.
They have chemistry at first sight and a rather risque encounter a few weeks later seals her fate and she decides to leave Rathorin before he forces her to his bed. But when Rathorian realises what she has down and who she is with, he won't let his prize walk away from him that easily and takes great measures to get her back into his clutches!
Drev is an absolute sweetheart. He's good to his people, putting them before himself and fighting on their behalf. He adores Clara on first meeting even though he barely understands her atrocious Alvan accent, LOL. Clara is a great character, overcoming loss, being thrown into a new language and culture and putting up with the slimy Rathorin!

She goes to Celestial Mates💕 to find her true 💘love and is matched to a Major Prince👑 of Alva. There are varying degrees of Princes👑 on the planet, some from more important houses than others. When she gets to Alva, she is disheartened to find her supposed match, Prince Rathorin👑💀🔥, is a cruel heartless💔 Prince. She's ready to give up and go back to 🌎earth, when she meets Prince👑 Drevakin🐺🍌🌋🔥.

Clara is a curvy human woman and a cop who lost his military fiance in a battle. She has been struggling with grief for a few years but finally feels a need for companionship. She tries a blind date set up by her friend but it is horrible then her friend recommends the Celestial Mates agency. Clara is intrigued but feels that is most likely a scam. She decides to participate thinking that if it is a scam she with reveal it and it it is true she would love to find new love. After going through all their procedures, she is told she is the mate for two different princes on Alva. She is matched with the hign prince even though the match isn't good because of politics. When she arrives on Alva she realizes that she has no connection to the high prince and he is a jerk.
Drevakin is a low prince on Alva who signed up with Celestial Mates. His people are having a hard time with the high prince's people beating them up. When he goes to talk to the high prince, he meets Clara. Their chemistry is through the roof. Drevakin wishes that Clara could be his but she belongs to the high prince. Even if she agreed to be with him that would cause a war that his people would be sure to lose. Somehow Clara and Drevakin have to figure out a way to be together without causing an all-out war.
I am really enjoying this series. The world building is spectacular and the characters are complex. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest opinion.

Class snobbery is alive and well on the planet Alva. So much so that Celestial Mates Dating Agency has orders to give anyone who matches to both a Major and Minor House to the Major House. Clara is one of those dual matches. When she arrives on Alva it becomes clear that Celestial Mates made a mistake. Her match is a mean, arrogant jerk unlike the prince of a Minor House she has met. Drevakin is "smitten" with Clara when he first meets her but knows she is promised to another. Any action he takes toward Clara could cause problems for his House and it's people. When both Clara and Drevakin try to rescue the other, things get rough. Will these two be able to be together without harm coming to the House Lo'ara? This is a great story. It was nice to revisit with Elorshin and Margot. Can't wait for Prince Naefaren to meet his match.

Clara was matched to both of them, but the person from the major house will get the chance of the match first. Even though she was matched better to Drevakin, Rathorin got her as a pari first. Rathorin turns out to be a terrible person. And when Clara meets Drevakin for the first time, they are drawn to each other. But Clara doesn't know how to get out of the situation to be with Drevakin. So when she hears that Rathorin is going to kill him, she escapes and tries to help him. Which starts a war. This book has everything, love, hate, pain, war. It's just great

This book is just "meh". It was missing something and to be honest, I can't tell you exactly what. I think it was the "hero" didn't really seem much like a hero. It was a bunch of "I want to but I can't" type of internal struggle. The villain seemed to just get thrown in there and that was only through glimpses of Clara's thoughts but even those were underdeveloped. There could have been a lot more story to tell and it just wasn't. Maybe add a few pages and round it out, I could have gotten into it much more.

This is book #2 of the Alva. It was good. Clara is just now trying to return to dating only at the insistence of her friend. She has a horrible jerk for a date and leaves before it is over. She confronts her friend about it and get a card to visit the Celestial Mates office. She goes and gets paired with 2 Princes from Alva. She doesn't get a choice of which one but the one she got was an ass. The 2nd guy was perfect. Now she has to fix the mistake so she can be with the one she chooses. I like it.

Really enjoyable read. Writing a review
I'm pretty terrible at writing reviews but I'll give it a go. Again as in the first of this series A Baby For The Alien Prince ( The Alva ) in different then other alien books I've read. Which is pretty cool because I've read a lot of them. The world is dark and treacherous and the the main males are honorable and not me Tarzan you Jane , the women are feisty and strong and not witches. So to me that's a huge win. I suggest you give series a try you won't regret it.

This is the 2rd book of Miranda Martin's Celestial Mates and it was just as good as the first 1,if you have never read her,you should give her books a look and read because they are really good.Each is a standalone,but it's a better read if you start with the first one because the charectors you meet in each one are updated in the next book and thats always cool to see what's happening to the couple from the previous book!! I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book in the Alva series.
I didn't realize this was the series with the underground communities when I bought this. I really don't care for their environment. But that doesn't make these bad stories. This was pretty good. I enjoyed this story.
Clara is matched with a prince from the Minor house, but the prince from a Major house snatches her up and claims her. She thinks she has made a mistake when she meets the prince she was actually matched with.

Love the Celestial Mates series, This is the second book in the Alva world where Drevakin Clara now have to face adversity in order to reach their Pari status. I really loved the fact that Clara is a police officer and does not stand around when injustice is going on. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book

One thing I love is that the bad guy looses his ___. I will let you all read the book to fill in the blank. The Alva's upper houses are learning their leason' s. They are also learning that women can help take care of themselves. The Alva series has strong females and Alva males . Enjoy!

Great Book
Loved the second book just as much as the first one. The story has action, pleasure compassion, steamy love scenes with awesome characters. I enjoyed reading a book that brings the characters from previous books back to see how their lives turn out. A must buy and keep them coming because they are awesome.

Alva strikes again!
Wow!! Miranda Martin brings life back to Alva! I love the differences between Clara and Drevakin. It must have been difficult for both of them to acclimate to each other with all the dangers and cultural differences. Once again I fell in love with Alva!

Unusually complex, with a deeper kind of love story
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the added complexity of her being a widow and then the two matches. It's nice to see a couple fall in love with each other's character instead of insta-love based on nothing.

This one stands out,
The authors writing is direct and clear. Characters were easy to sympathize with. Their home world was interesting, unique and understandable. I.will follow this series.

Fun quick read!
Sometimes I am just in the mood for a quick fun read. The sexy celestial mates never disappoint. I love all of the different worlds. Just the idea of being matched to an alien mate on a different planet gets me.

I really enjoy this series
This book shows that the mates are attracted to and by each other almost instantly. This happened in both of the Celestial Mates couples even when more powerful men tried to interfere. It was a joy to read about the death of the sociopath!
