Just when Gabe thinks he has her all figured out, life throws a curve ball leaving them both to pick up the pieces. When Cami is faced with yet another devastation, Gabe is there but will his love and devotion be enough during a personal affair that shakes them both? They each are healing from the wounds of love lost, skeptical of new love and will need to learn to avoid letting past relationships and the current racial climate muddy what they have found in each other in order to survive. Cami is a fabulous and sexy PR person who is driven to be the best she can be. She is not looking for a lover because love has not been fair to her. However, one night as she is handling her business for her boss, she encounters a walking dream. Gabe is an Alpha who sets his sights on the lovely Camila but he may have bitten off more than he thinks he wants.
Cami is about her business and evades Gabe and his advances. Inside though, he is pushing all of her buttons but she never wants to open herself to romance again. Gabe has his own demons to battle but there is something about Cami he can't resist.
This is a page turner to see if the heat will consume them but then a blast from her past makes a sudden appearance that sends Gabe off the deep end.
First time read that has a cliff hanger but I want the sequel...has some typos but still a great read...

Wow
Gave is a love sick fool for Camille. He did all the chasing and heavy lifting in their relationship. Gave shared all his secrets and pain while Cam keeps hers closeted away. Definitely an unbalanced relationship.

Realistic
It was a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to reading the second book. I really loved the way the story was told.
