Dell has persuaded the Bloodless army to fight alongside her pack in Butler, but she still has to get there. Halfway home, the rift detonates, blasting out a magic surge that sweeps across the globe, frying electronics and spells alike. Leaving her with no way to get home except on her own two--or four--feet.
Dangerous times demand equally lethal alliances, and she has to make a risky deal if she wants to reach the front lines before it's too late. The bargain grants an ancient fae power over her, a hold she vowed no man would ever have on her again, but freedom requires sacrifice.
As the threshold between Earth and Faerie erodes, humans and supernaturals alike are in danger of being erased as the fae seek to claim this world as their own. This is the moment when new legends arise and old gods fall, when fates unspool and futures unravel, when battles are won and lives are lost.
Hailey Edwards writes about questionable applications of otherwise perfectly good magic, the transformative power of love, the family you choose for yourself, and blowing stuff up. Not necessarily all at once. That could get messy.
Over the Moon concludes the arc series for the Gemini and Lorimar Pack. We may return to the Black Dog world, but for now Dell’s story and many others are ending.
I’d say this series is best read after at least starting the Gemini series with book one, if not beginning with the Black Dog series. Theirry who is our heroine in the Black Dog series plays a major role in the Lorimar Pack books and world.
It’s been a thrilling adventure from start to finish. I feel in love with Ms. Edwards writing and world when I read Dog with a Bone book one in the Black Dog series. I’ve come to relish and savor the stories, characters, and world.
This one brings back many of the old characters: Thierry and Shaw, Cam and Graeson, and many more. Fans will not be disappointed in the return of favorite characters nor the conclusion that is given with each getting an epilogue at the end.
As for Dell her adventures have taught her to rely on others, think things through, and be more careful. She’s grown into a better Beta for her pack and a stronger more confident women.
Earth and Faerie are at war. It’s an eye opener for the humans and a turning point for the supernaturals. Dell and Isaac are hard pressed to stay in one piece and come out alive on the other side. Deals are being made and allies are coming to help. It’s a bad place, but what can you do? Except deal with the hard circumstances and hope everything will turn out ok at the end.
Over the Moon ending on a wonderful note. I’m hoping we get a few more spin-offs for some of the characters featured in the series. Isaac's twin brother Theo’s epilogue was an eye opener and has me wanting to know his story.
If you are a fan of Urban Fantasy. I highly recommend picking up the Black Dog, Gemini, and Lorimar Pack series.

I had no trouble reading the Gemini series and Lorimar Pack books 1 & 2. Yet Lorimar #3 was confusing for me and I think that this is due to not having read the Black Dog series. Thierry played a large role in Lorimar's series close. There is potential for more stories. I'm interested in Rook finding a mate and anxious to see what happens with Theo.
The world has changed over night, and the threat of fae are imminent. It will take a miracle to save us all, and Dell is up to the challange, with the help of her pack, and Isaac. With help from the Bloodless army, they´ll make their last stand by the rift, but will this work? The final battle is upon them and it will take all of their combined strength to survive this. Fast paced, action filled and a great conclusion to the series! Love it! Disclaimer; I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book isn't just the culmination of the Lorimar Pack series, but of the entire Black Dog / Gemini universe, and I say that not just because it's the last book, but because it draws in threads from all 10 or 11 installments and ties them into a big red bow.
The veil between human and fae world has been ripped open and there is a war brewing. One that involves the pack, Tibereus, his aunt, Rook, his sister, Thierry, her father, and grandfather... and just about everyone else we've come know. There is still an underlying thread of romance between Dell and Isaac, but it is by far secondary to the bigger picture.
And I was ok with that. I was kind of salty about Isaac in the last book, and though I don't exactly love him, I accept his mating with Dell. It's...fine.
This book reminded me why I liked Rook in the original Black Dog trilogy. I feel like this book was setting up a spinoff for Theo one day, but Rook is far more interesting to me. He is powerful...and fragile... and fascinating.
The ending is big and its satisfying and the epilogues let us have one last hurrah with our various heroes. If you enjoyed the books in this series, I think this conclusion will be a hit for you too.
I enjoy Dell's character and her relationship with Isaac, but this story seemed to drag for me a little but, compared to other fast-paced books in the Gemini series. Some overall progression of the series storyline, but I would have enjoyed more depth. Hopefully the next book will focus more on the Lorimar Pack and their relationship.
Good solid ending to the series. I liked this installment. There was nothing that jumped out as annoying. I just didn’t find anything to make me absolutely love it.
Over the Moon by Hailey Edwards a sublime five star read. This is the sixth book in the Gemini series, you do need to read the other five books in the series to understand what is going on here. I have also read the black dog series and loved it, and this series tops it for me. I love the characters that Hailey Edwards writes, she doesn’t make strong powerful kick-butt women for the sake of it, but strong kick-butt people that you want to be kicking butt alongside no matter the gender or race. The best thing is they may be amazing at kicking butt but they are also amazing, and funny and heart-warming in the strangest ways. I don’t want to spoil the story, and give the story away, but you need this story in your life. Do yourself a favour and get the book, and if you have the series go but the series, Hailey Edwards writing won’t disappoint.
I’m still a little blown away that so many things ended up getting wrapped up in this single book. We start where we left off and things go WAY off course quickly, leaving even more loose ends than they started with.
Dell did her job and somehow navigated fae politics to get help in the war, and the inklings of a plan. Then faerie and earth end up mushing together in a very bad way, putting that on her already long list of to-do’s. In this post-apocalyptic world, they need to rescue Isaac’s brother, protect the supposedly future king of faerie, make sure their backup is actually on their side, not get ensnared by the fae now occupying earth, and probably a thousand other things. Oh, and there’s the whole pack/mate/future of the world stuff, too.
I had a lot of fun in this last installment, feeling like the time in faerie did end up contributing to their ultimate ending. We get oodles of shifting, danger, familiar faces, some true stakes, and what is maybe the best outcome we could hope for here. Is everything completely wrapped up? No - we don’t really know how humans are going to keep on going, but the paranormals are mostly complete. I will say that I finished this book hoping Theo had a spinoff book in the works but sadly that looks like it was abandoned. The start of it is in the epilogues but we are left incomplete there. I wish this world continued!
I always struggle when I write a review because in most cases the books are from series that I love and hope that I give the reader what they are looking for in the review without any spoilers. So, with that being said, this is a series that I have loved from the very beginning. Each of her series involves a handful of books and continues to the next series where a different set of characters move the front burner. I think that is the way many authors are writing these days and I appreciate it. It gives you the opportunity to get to know each character more intimately while continuing the story line.
As Dell and Isaac try to keep Tiberius safe and get home to Butler before the worlds collide they find themselves in serious trouble when a magic surge sweeps across the globe disrupting magic and frying all electronics. Torn between two rescues, Dell and Isaac will have to decide who will need to be saved first to ultimately save the world.
Edwards characters are hard not to love. They are well developed and each have their own personalities that lend to the creativeness of the book. Shapeshifters and fae are some of my favorite characters to read and if they are yours too you will not be disappointed with these books.

Heather's Notes I have to say I am kind of glad this series has ended. I didn't really care for Dell. I didn't dislike her, I just never really connected with her like I did the other MC. I would love a story about Rook, but I don't see that the author has wrote it yet. I will have to wait and see if it happens.
“Over the Moon” is the grand finale of the Gemini series. I enjoyed this series but also must say I was a little disappointed as well. The characters were interesting but the book stalled in so many places with too many lengthy professions of love by several of the couple extending the read beyond necessary.
On this installment Cam and Isaac go on one trip or another trying to thwart the total annihilation of the world as we know it. A rift has allow the fae to make a mass entrance into our world and humans are no longer ignorant of the existence of Supes. Battered and beaten the Lorimar pack is the last line of defense with Cam and Isaac attempting to protect Tyberious, the next King. This is not an easy task especially since so many factions are attempting to control him by going after the girl he loves.
There are plenty of interesting characters such as Thierry’ grandfather, king of the Wild Hunt, Tree spirits, the Morrigan, Cam and Grayson and a host of others. In the end the Lorimar pack does what it does best, protect those they love. On a side note, the author left a kind of open ended conclusion that might suggest other books may be in the future. One can only hope.
Over the Moon is Book #10 in the Black Dog series (Lorimar Pack #3) by Hailey Edwards. Diving into The Black Dog Universe was a total treat – as Hailey Edwards has basically built this interconnected world where magic, supernatural politics, and snarky banter all collide - and it’s addictive. The series doesn’t just stick to one MC - instead, it hops between different main characters whose stories overlap in clever and intriguing ways. We get werewolves, fae, witches, and all sorts of supernatural chaos - but what really makes it shine is how human the characters feel, even when they’re not technically human. They’re flawed, funny, and sometimes make terrible decisions - which makes them all the more relatable. If you like your fantasy worlds rich and immersive, your characters messy in the best way, and your plots full of supernatural intrigue - then this universe is definitely worth diving into. Just be warned - once you start, you just might end up binge-reading the whole thing, just like me. Happy Reading…
There is a lot going on in this final book in the Lorimar Pack series, and it wraps up the two preceding series as well. The war between Faerie and Earth has begun and the first thing Dell and Isaac have to do is rescue his brother Theo, who was left in her place in the fae prison in Wink, Texas. They have to deal with upheaval everywhere, and a crisis at home where they're desperately needed. With the help of allies, and risky deals, it will take everything they have to accomplish all they need to do, and then solve the problem of saving earth before the fae can take over. It seems impossible, but somehow, Dell comes up with a crazy plan that just might work, or it might kill everyone she knows and loves. What a spectacular ending to this wonderful series, and wrapping up three different storylines in one fell swoop as well, I loved it.
Let me start that I believe this would be a four star read if I had started this series properly, from the beginning. Instead I heard it could be read as a stand alone, and I was wrong.
This reads as a action adventure that uses werewolf politics with the fey in their worlds as a plot driver. I suspect every book has their romantic pairing that gets the focus while the series theme unfolds. I was expecting a werewolf romance and got a pack politics fighting with their fey enemies with struggles to make it from point a to point b. While it was a chaotic, the action and pack drama took most of the story, I was entertained if it was a bit of a slog.
I would recommend to readers who have read this series or want a werewolf themed political fantasy.
This book was definitely not short on action. It seemed like every time Dell and Isaac turned around they were having to either fight for their life or about to fight something. first, Dell and Isaac had to go rescue Isaac‘s brother out of the prison, which was very interesting in itself but on their way there they met the wild hunt and got assistance from them to get to the prison. After that Dell had to go back to help her pack. Once she got back to her pack, all hell had broken loose there too. I wasn’t sure if I liked the end of this book or not because it had several different people talking about different things. I listened to this book on audible, and it had the same narrator as the previous book.
Awesome ending! All the characters I have fallen in love with in the Black Dog Universe got their stories wrapped up with a bang. And even though it was a satisfying ending I still hope to see Thierry, Cam, Dell, and their other halves again sometime in the future. After all it's a strange new world they're living in and who knows what kind of trouble is out there waiting. Love these characters, love this book and I highly recommend checking out the entire series.
I just discovered this series through audible and OMG-I am so attached to the characters and I was sooo looking forward to learning more about Theo-but read somewhere that the Author said there was not enough Fan Base interest to carry on the story - well I LOVED these stories and hope someday. She comes out with something that gives us some closure with some of the characters!
VERY VERY GREAT JOB-Hailey, I loved this series and because of this series - I plan to check out some of your other work…:
Thank you for the Gemini and Lorimar book series!!!
This book was an amazing wrap up to all them cliffhangers, but it brought in yet another one!!! I couldn't believe everything that happened in this book. Between Tibs and his mate, Cam and Greason, Shaw and Thierry, and Dell and Isaac there was so much going on, but it all was needed chaos to complete this series. I can not wait to learn about Theo and this new "hit" of his....
I struggled little bit with book 2 of Lorimar (5th of Gemini) but number 3/6 was a quick deal. It is ice to have a closure from black dog series, as I missed it and what I liked the most is that epilogues are for all main characters. To be honest, I am looking forward Theo's story even though I haven't read that it is confirmed. But the ending is pretty all-saying...and if not, Mrs Edwards, please, write also Theo's book / series :) it is already intriguing :)
I read a couple other series by this author. This series ties in nicely with the others. I liked the book but didn't love it. If you loved the other series you'll probably love this one.
There is something about the author's writing style that I just don't love. Her books are good but rarely satisfying. I'm not a fan of cliffhangers and she enjoys leaving things unfinished/open ended.
My heart is broken, but the ride was wild! This was the last book in the current series. I'm not sure I could do it justice without spoilers but trust me you want to read this book if you like action, adventure, fae, werewolves (wargs), and true love. Ms. Edwards you tore my heart in two, but I still eagerly await your next adventure.
What am epic conclusion! Just like the other books in this series they was action, adventure , and so much more.
I had high expectations for this book and it delivered and then some. The twists and turns kept me turning the page but it's the characters Hailey Edwards creates that keeps me coming back for more, amd i cant wait to read more.
All you could ever hope for in the ending of a trilogy about the end of the war. I can’t wait to read more books by this author. The overall imagination of the world of fantasy and the excellent execution of those ideas makes it so easy to read all the books by this author.
I read the whole series (Black Dog, Gemini, then Lorimar Pack, in that order) back-to-back. They are all very good, and free on Kindle Unlimited. Each of the trilogies is a separate paranormal romance, all set in the same universe with relationships among the characters tying them all together in various ways. Towards the end of Lorimar (this book), the story took a few shortcuts to get to the end, but I don't mind. I still enjoyed the world building and characters. Lorimar Pack is Dell's and Issac's story.
I really do like this author. She has a unique way of making me get lost in her books! Also she makes me see what's happening in the book! That does not happen often enough in books. I'm 60 years old. I have been reading a long time. I also love her characters! I'm hating that this series is thru!
Love unshakeable, sacrifices rewarded, heroes formed from the crucible of war. Happily ever after achieved, even when life may intervene presenting challenges going forward. Hope that where there is life, progress toward acceptable solutions can be made. Thank you for sharing this series & creating the blend of magic & human ingenuity
I can honestly say I have enjoyed this full series from Cams story, Harlow short story and then Dels story. All of which tie up the overall storyline of defending earth against evil fae. All 3 FMCs get their HEA. I would recommend the full series. This last book tied everything up nicely but leaves room for Theo to have his own story. I hope it’s coming.
An enjoyable read added to the series, the men are strong and the women are stronger. I am looking forward to Theo's story and a few other from the pack and other characters.
