Favorite Quotes:

I may be sailing down that river called deNile with a hole in my boat and only half a paddle, but I wasn’t stupid.

Glad you’re okay nursey. Nash would have been a total dick-cheese if he’d lost you. Not that he’s not a dick-cheese now, but he would have been even more of one.

My Review:

Broken Lyric wove a complicated and unsettling web of deceit, obsession, secret identities, murders, regrets, and grief. The storyline was full of tension, suspense, stalkers, conflict, and a large cast of complex characters, a bit too many for me as I got a bit confused, and then a little lost, but I stuck with it and eventually found my way back and thankfully the complicated twists were rehashed and explained by one character near the end. The story was certainly eventful, heaving with drama, and totally unpredictable; I never saw it coming nor could I have figured it out on my own. Tucked amongst all the tension were welcome glimpses of humor and steam, I lived for those brighter moments and considered them respite from the angst and brewing apprehension.

It was ok read. Although it got messy at the final: some crazy grupies, some murders... For me it was like author didnt know how to finish this story...
I like the MCs, they were ok. The H is a member of some rock band, had a manwhoring past (you know the drill, all musicians had their past, hehe, and its now celibate). He was celibate after meeting the heroine.
The heroine was ok, but i didnt understand why she didnt go to police after this crazy man almost raped her... And later still she didnt go either... She kept running away...
It was a safe read: no OP scenes, celibate both of them after meeting...They didnt push each other away.
Just ok.

This series...WOW!!!! I should've known that R.B. would be able to top the first book in this series but I am still left amazed by how awesome this book is. My heart absolutely broke for both of these characters for everything they have both gone through in life and what lies ahead as well. The chemistry between these two is one for the record books but the fact that they build a friendship first is something I loved seeing. Although both of these characters fight the feelings they have for one another it eventually becomes to hard to deny.

Nash is losing the most important person in his life and Rowen is the one caring for them. They both have dealt with loss and experiencing it with this person is about to test them both. Lets not forget the stalker that is making life difficult and the past that comes knocking for one of these characters. You are sure to have one amazing book ahead.

I highly recommend this book and seriously hope that Chaz and Evan get their stories as well. I just know that their stories will be wonderful as well.

Looking for a sweet Rockstar romance here ? I think you took the wrong exit … because “Broken Lyric” R.B. Hillard’s second book in the Meltdown series is non of what you are looking for.

The journey of the leading characters is painful and the road they are traveling is dark.
I admit that it would not be one of my favorites under normal circumstances but this author has woven some magic in-between the pages (of this electronic file #har har) that I read.

Even if the story did not make me laugh out loud or cry like a river (hence the reason why it only received 4 stars instead of 5) – it still has so much depth that the reader can not help but suffer with the characters.

Will they overcome all the obstacles in their way? Their reality seems hard and final … yet the reader can not help but hope and wonder for two really amazingly written characters…

If you love Rockers this Series is for you! This Series Follows Meltdown, an incredible group of musicians and all the people in their lives. Good or Bad, peoples lives are changed when they interact with this group. This second book in the Series covers Nash’s life and family. The emotions that pull you through this story is incredible! You laugh, you cry and you follow along as they mourn and when they are frightened. The characters are amazing , in themselves and as a group or family.
I recommend this to all Rocker Romance lovers who enjoy that mean twist in their stories. Cannot wait to see what happens with the rest of the Groups members!

I loved Rowan and Nash and how their situations in life brought them together and created a bond. Their slow burn to love, and then the full on boil was great, until so many new circumstances kept ripping them apart. I enjoyed so much of their story, including how the band is always front and center of it all!

I did feel like the drama got a bit far fetched at the end, but I anticipate it has to do with setup to Chaz's story, which I am looking forward to. The last little twist in my mind didn't add value to the story.

Finally, I listened to this on audio. I have enjoyed both of these narrators very much in the past. While I found them both to struggle with consistency in Rowan's Irish accent, I still enjoyed them both! They both captured the raw characters that were Rowan and Nash!

Note: I received a review copy of this title courtesy of the audiobook publisher, Tantor.

Broken Lyric by R.B. Hillard broke me and then mended my heart back together all the while I couldn't put this stunning story down! The second installment in the Meltdown series blew me away and it's hard to top Fractured Beat but Nash is my new book boyfriend. Not only we have a stunning romance but these books always have a twist with a crime element/mystery and Broken Lyric gripped me from page one. Rowan's backstory was heart breaking and reading her evolution and opening herself up to Nash warmed my heart. Secondary characters are just as interesting ~ Nash's Mom is a complete sweetheart. Rowan & Nash's chemistry is off the charts and I was cheering them on and honestly did a happy dance when it finally happened. I can't wait for the next installment in this series and see who's next. 5 Stars ~ deserves 10 Stars ~ for Broken Lyric by R.B. Hillard

This is the second book in the Meltdown Series and the writing was excellent. The story is written in alternating pov's and is available through Kindle Unlimited. The only problem I had is that I read book one to long ago and really needed to have read it again. There wasn't enough backlog within this story to really refresh my memory on all of the characters.

Rowen is the live in oncology nurse for Nash's mother who is dying of cancer. They have become friends during the course of about 18 months while he is on and off the road with Meltdown. They have fought the attraction to each other for months before they become a couple. Rowen's past comes back to haunt her and puts her life in danger. Also drama from book one comes back to haunt Grant the lead singer. The book ends on Chaz, the drummers world coming apart which could be leading into book three being about him.

What an adrenaline rush! - Wow RB Hilliard takes you on a rollercoaster ride with this next installment in the Meltdown Series. I suggest reading Fractured Beat before this book to get the whole picture as events in that book carry over to this one. The writing is so fast paced that you will quickly be turning pages trying to figure out what can possibly happen next. This is a rock series that loads up on mystery, intrigue and very sexy band members. A don't miss.

I loved Nash's heartbreaking story of loss and his finding the perfect mate in Gillian. Again more action packed pages and tying up of loose ends make this another great installment. I hope that the other members of Meltdown get their stories told too, especially super douche Chaz.

I love this author to pieces and she knows it. I love her for her kind words, for her friendship but also because of her books.
It's not a secret that I devour every single one of them and I'm always eager for more and more. I'm addicted to her books and I'm very proud of it.
RB Hilliard has a simple, intense, amazing and hot writting that can put you into tears or laughing a lot in a sec. It will look like I'm crazy but I really don't care.
It's been a few months since her latest release and I was anxious as hell. Lol
Broken Lyric is her latest release and explores the life's of Nash and Rowan.
Before I tell you a little more about this book I need to tell you something.
Broken Lyric is the second book from the Meltdown series and I tottaly advise you to read the first book, Fractured Beat, before starting this one because despite they are standalones you need to know this band and all their stuff in order to understand this series better. And I can guarantee that you will not regret this...
Nash is the lead guitarist of the world renowned band Meltdown. He's sexy has hell, a serious player and playboy. For him the only thing that matters are one night stands without attachments or messy stuff. He don't do relationships because love can be messy and can only bring pain. But when he sees the beautiful Rowan his mind starts to change. But he as some responsibilities that he can't ignore or get distracted.
Rowan is a hunted girl that needs to runaway from her past. She hides dark and dangerous secrets that can destroy her in a sec. Like Nash she doesn't want to commit to anyone, she avoids love because love can kill without warning...
But then she meets Nash and...
What will happen? Can these two broken souls find love ? Can they commit to each other?? Can they be happy or let it slip away??
Sweet baby Jesus what a book this was. I loved the first book from this series but this one just stolen my heart. The way this book was written will appeal to your emotions in a way that I can't explain. What touched me the most was the fact that RB explores Love, Loss, Grief and you will see that that can happen to you. No one is safe from loss or even love.
I was happy, I was sad, I was mad and there were times that I was so hot.. Let's just say that you are about to embark on the most amazing, beautiful, stressful and crazy rollercoaster of your life.
The way the story progresses makes you live the story so intensely that you might think your going to be insane. Beautiful book. Just beautiful. When every piece fits in the puzzle you'll start to see the light, and what a light that was...
OMG RB Hilliard you are amazing. Every single book from you makes me love your writting even more.
I can't wait for your next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Broken Lyric by RB Hilliard a breath-taking five star read. This has been the hardest review I have ever written, it’s taken me days as I don’t think I can do the book justice with my words. RB Hilliard has out done herself with this second book in the Meltdown series, and I am not ashamed to admit that I am a Meltie. This is my all-time favourite RB Hillard book, I am a die-hard MMG series fan but Nash Bostwick has stolen my heart, and ran away with it.
Nash Bostwick is the lead guitarist of world famous band Meltdown, he has been there from the start, he has had his fair share of trouble like the rest of the band but sadly for Nash his is really just starting, Nash’s mum has faced the big C before and now faces it again, she has her nurse Rowan and that’s the only reason Nash feels he can leave his mum while he goes on tour, as he knows Rowan, not in the way he would like, but he feels strongly for her. But sadly, sometimes feelings aren’t enough.
Rowan Burns is a good nurse, and she would do anything for her patient Maeve and even though she thinks Nash is possibly the hottest man alive, (Who wouldn’t) she can’t admit her feelings as she has a secret that would bring her world crashing around her ears. When Roses start appearing whose secrets are coming out, hers or Nash’s?
This story will have you gripped from the beginning to the very last page, I sobbed my heart out when it was over. I couldn’t believe that I would have to wait for more Meltdown!! You get sucked into the world. If you buy one book this year, make it a RB Hilliard, possibly Fractured beat, as they you would have to buy this book, as you won’t be able to not when you get sucked into the Meltdown world.

Dangerously Obsessive

I'd probably give this book 3.5 ⭐ if I could.

This is the second book in a connected series. This book can stand alone but you get to meet the characters and learn their history in the first book, so reading it will increase your enjoyment. There isn’t a cliffhanger, but there is a hook for the next book.

Nash is the lead guitarist for Meltdown a successful rock band. They’ve had a pretty rough couple of years but things are starting to settle down. They have a new keyboardist after the death of the old one and they now own their record label. The band decides to have a shakedown mini-tour for 3 months and though he has to go, Nash is reluctant because his beloved mother has cancer. The only thing helping him go on tour is knowing his mother has a live-in nurse to look after her.

Rowan Burn, Nash’s mother’s nurse, used to be called Gillian. Gillian had to change her name in order to hide from a very dangerous man who was obsessed with her. Her father was the one who set her up with that man. She decided to change her name at the same time as running away. Since then she hasn’t stayed in one place for very long or formed significant attachments. However, Nash’s mother, Maeve, has wormed herself into her heart, along with her son.

Though the initial set-up for this book seems obvious, the plot is actually quite complex. The suspense plot is intriguing, however, all the emotions feel a little muted because of the emphasis on the plot rather than the characters and what they are feeling. Bad things happen in this book but the characters don’t seem to dwell on how those things make them feel, it’s all about what’s happening and what’s going to happen next. It makes it harder to connect with the characters than I would have thought because on the surface the characters are very likeable and engaging.

This is a diverting book and quite entertaining, and I may read the next in the series at some point, but there are other books in my vast TBR list that will come first.

Nash Bostwick has left me clutching my heart and has earned 5 amazing stars from me. The man just has everything you could possibly want or need in a strong yet soft alpha lead. I had shivers while he sang the words he had penned for Rowan, the words that only flowed when his emotions of grief, fear and love all collided. Something about a man strumming a guitar while vocalizing his feelings just opens my heart, puts a lump in my throat, and starts my the flow of my own emotions.

Here is a snippet of the beautiful words Nash sings, in context, they will melt your heart:
Love me now. Show me how, how to be enough.
Forgive me. Don't forget me.
Please...please don't let me.
Don't let me.
Please...don't let me go.
Don't you f***ing let me go.

Love me now. Show me how. I promise I'll be enough.
Please forgive me. Don't forget to. I'll forever let you.
Forever let you.
I'll forever let you know.
That you are mine...my sweet Rowan.
Only mine.
And I will never let you go.

Broken Lyric is book 2 in the Meltdown series. You can get to know all the boys of Meltdown and start from the beginning with Fractured Beat, but if per chance you fall onto this book first there is nothing to worry about. The author has done a fantastic job filling in the blanks on all the past shenanigans of the boys. In my opinion, RB Hilliard really knows how to throw caution to the wind and comes up with amazing storylines that have you questioning everything and trusting no one. From chapter one, I was craving answers and trying to keep up with who-done-what; it was so much fun. From the beginning we set of on a course and veer off quite quickly in a whole new direction. The twists and turns in the lives of these characters shocked me and kept me guessing until the very end.

There are some real tear jerker moments in this book which totally brought me closer to the characters. RB deals with the very real emotions of death and grief and how they can impact your life and even if you’ve never gone through it yourself, you can’t help but feel every emotion as the characters do.

I totally loved this book; Nash is a heart-throb extraordinaire. He may take a while to recognize his own self-worth and come to terms with his feelings, but that is part of the charm of his character has he starts a budding romance with Rowan. I love the slow burn stories – the build-up is intense and makes the whole romance of relationship that much sweeter. Nash and Rowan are both masters of denial and avoidance, until they aren’t anymore; then the sparks fly. If you like a little sexy time peppered through your romantic suspense novel, RB is pretty good at that.

Joy, sorrow, denial, anger, suspense and full-on love are abound in this book. I smiled, I cried, I laughed, I felt – the sign of a good read is when it hits you deep, brings out all those emotions and leaves you wanting more. Broken Lyric was this and so much more for me. This series is so much more than romance, RB had me reading at every possible moment, the characters were constantly calling to me to come join them, begging me to read just one more page. I totally recommend this series to everyone. I can’t imagine a soul out there that won’t swoon at the beautiful soul that is Nash Bostwick.

OOOOOhhhhhh i love a good thriller mystery! This is one of the best!

Book 2 in the Meltdown series. This is Nash's turn.

All the guys are struggling with the events surrounding Grant and Mallory. Nash more so because he has the added stress of his Mom's illness. The band needing some good publicity decide on a mini tour. Nash isn't keen on going and leaving his mom behind. But it's not only his mom he doesn't want to leave. Having suffered a tragedy with his first love Nash has avoided relationships of any type but something about Rowan keeps pulling him back.

Rowan has been hired as a nurse to look after Nash's mom. She's been with them around 12 months. Rowan has got really close to Nash's mom and feels almost like she's a surrogate mom for her having lost hers many years before. Rowan also feels the pull of Nash but she can never act because she has secrets she can't tell anyone.

Those secrets are coming for her and there's nothing she can do to stop it. She needs to run but she can't leave Nash's mom or Nash for that matter because as much as she's tried to keep him out of her heart he's already wormed his way in.

The bands past also comes back to haunt them all and the two collide in deadly ways.

It's not often i read mystery/thriller books and for the love of me i can't figure out why i don't!

The twists and turns in the plot never stopped! I was left guessing time after time. The way this book was written wove an intricate plot and i ate up every last word!

Nash was sweeter than i expected. Although he tried to keep his walls in tact Rowan just smashed them up without even trying. His Christmas gift to her left me swooning. Once he accepted his fate that was it for him he was all in! He was also extremely sexy! I mean yeah he must have had skills from bedding the groupies but damn!! I love a man who takes matters into his own hands... literally... the visual just... damn!!!

Rowan was perfect for Nash. A mixture of nurturing and sassy and caring and sexy also a little forward! lol Although she was running i also felt she was pretty strong too. She's gone through a lot. One of the first scenes actually made me feel a little ill at what she went through and trust me that's hard to do!

It was great to see all the guys again! Evan is really growing on me and I'm intrigued by his story. Also Chaz has a bit to make up for but i love his grumpy sarcasm it made me laugh on more than one occasion. Finally it was great to see Grant and Mallory finally get their HEA.

Brilliantly written, keep you guessing tale! Fabulous!! Bring on book 3!!!

Nash Bostwick is the sexy guitarist for Meltdown--one of the hottest bands in the country. Nash doesn't do relationships. There's a reason why he's known for being a playboy. Relationships lead to heartbreak. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. After his high school sweetheart died, Nash vowed that he would never feel that kind of heartache again. Unfortunately, the world has different plans. His heart is about to be shattered along with the rest of his world. One by the most important person in his life--his mother. She has been fighting breast cancer for the past few years. She was in remission. Now, the cancer is back...and this time it's terminal. The second by his mother's oncology nurse, Rowan. She isn't his type. She has luscious curves that go for days. Nash prefers his women straight and super skinny as Grant calls them stick figures.

Rowan Burns has been an oncology nurse for the past few years. She knows better than to become attached to her patients, but there is something about Mauve and her sexy broody son that she can't explain. Rowan was attracted to Nash the moment they met. She also knew he didn't feel the same way. Until recently, when he keeps watching her and staying up with her to watch movies after Mauve goes to sleep.  Mauve is spunky, funny, and so full of life...her sarcastic sense of humor is like no other. Rowan knew when Mauve was getting worse. She knew to separate the nurse from the personal connection to Mauve. Rowan is also falling for the emotionally detached Nash. Nash shows his softer side for his mother. He does whatever he can for the woman who single-handily raised him.

Once a few strange things begin happening, Nash thinks it's his stalker returning. It doesn't help that Blane doesn't follow through with what he's told in order to keep Nash and his family safe. Nash installs a new security system. That doesn't stop the stalker from kidnapping Rowan. What Rowan doesn't tell Nash is that she is running away from her former life. A life that could be catching up to her.  Who kidnapped Rowan? How can Nash find the stalker? Will Rowan forgive him for leaving her after his mother's death?

As always RB Hilliard doesn't disappoint her books just keep getting better and better Broken lyric is the second book in the series ( I highly suggest that you read Fractured before starting this even though it focuses on a different couple you will find this even more enjoyable ) another thing I love is that some of the gang from her MMG series are mentioned in this so if you haven't read those books you definitely should binge read write away . Adored Nash and Rowan they are just perfect for one another even at times the hero did frustrate me I knew he would get his head out of the sand , the sex scenes are smoking hot / electric , and they had fantastic chemistry the little things they would do for one another was really sweet . Felt alot of tenderness for Rowan shes amazingly selfless , nice , but not a pushover . Nash is great once he gets over his hang ups he started to become very swoon worthy . My heart lept out of my chest a couple of times ,wanted to give a big hung to characters . Things that kind of upset me was Grant the way he would side with a certain character I detested but over all it is awesome to see how his relationship with Mallory is doing . Can't wait to see whats next for the rest of the characters and were things will lead them .

I read the first book for a reading club and liked it so much that I bought the rest of the series. And I have to say, I think I liked this one even more. Maybe it's because it was so full of action and that feeling that something was going to happen or the shoe was going to drop, and I couldn't predict when it was or how it would happen. Once again, the author kept me on the edge of my seat as I wondered how Rowan was going to get through her new life without her old one destroying it. Nash was just as broken and seemed to be flailing with no direction, especially with his mother's serious cancer diagnosis. My heart hurt for both of them, and there was actually a moment when I thought they were going to get through it all together and possibly without serious incident. But then, the author turned the tables and took me by surprise again. I couldn't have guess the the last huge shock... it was never even a blip on my radar. How she comes up with these little twists I have no idea, but it is really working for her and has me anticipating the next book in the series.

Again, the only real problem I had with this book is that there were grammatical errors and misspelled words that should have been caught. And the punctuation is something that any editor worth her gold would have straightened out by the second book. But that's not what happened. Whenever a reader has to reread sentences or sections because of the punctuation, there is a problem. And there were several spots in this book that had me stumped enough to do so.

Despite the problems with the editing, I honestly can't give this author any lower rating that 4 stars because the story was absolutely unpredictable and mesmerizing for me. I look forward to the next one and hope she continues to write about the remaining members and more.

5 Thrilling Electrified Guitars for Broken Lyric

I just have to say how glad I am to have stumbled upon RB Hillard and the first Meltdown book a couple of months ago. Even happier to realize that I made that connection because she will be at an author event I will be at next year. I'm hoping for another Meltdown book before then - these psychological thrillers rock Hard!

I fell in love with Grant and Mallory in the first book, but it is not absolutely necessary to have read it before reading Broken Lyric. I would recommend it, because it is awesome, but you won't need to have read it to make sense of this as they are secondary characters in this book. This book is Nash's, who I will admit caught my attention in the prior book, and Rowan, who had made a couple of brief appearances as Nash's mom's nurse. I would have never guessed that their story couldn't have me even further on the edge of my seat than Grant and Mal's did, but I think Ms. Hillard accomplished that.

I know I said something similar in my first review, but this series is the perfect marriage of my two favorite genres: thriller and rockstar romance. It may seem an unusual pairing, but, it works for me and it definitely works for Meltdown and these books. I'm not sure if it is more hope or assumption that Chaz's book will be next, but I am completely intrigued by the surly drummer. Evan seems to be a great addition to the Meltdown family as well, so I would be happy to read his story as well.

I am having a really difficult time figuring out what to say about Broken Lyric and remain spoiler free. So I guess a short and sweet "Must Read". I love it, and will be picking up the author's other non-rockstar titles while I wait for the next Meltdown.

Nash Bostwick is the super sexy, lead guitarist of the world famous band, Meltdown, and a huge player, as he refuses to even entertain the thought of love, since it only equals pain in his mind. But he never counted on the feelings that he couldn't get rid of, for his mother's nurse, which shakes his whole foundation. Rowan Burns has very deadly secrets that keeps her on the run. She can't take a chance on trusting anyone, as it could lead to deadly consequences, so she has no time nor desire for love. That is, until she gets to know Nash. They finally take the leap when family tragedy derails Nash, and he pushes Rowan away. And by the time he realizes that he needs her, will it be too late? HOLY HEART POUNDING STORY BATMAN! I thought Fractured Beat was insane, but R.B. Hilliard took it up to new levels with Broken Lyric. Seriously, this is MORE than just your average rock star romance. The angst levels are HIGH, which may or may not have had my eyes leak a time or two. Sexy times were SUPER HOT HOT HOT, while the colorful cast of secondaries made for well placed humor that gave my eyes a break while I laughed. BUT, the absolute EPIC part of this story was the diabolical twists and turns around every corner, which had me on the edge of my seat, since every time I thought I knew the answer, I was thrown for another loop. So my loud f-bomb dropping moments were EPIC throughout the whole story! I'm already a huge fan of R. B. Hilliard, but her brilliant writing style just keeps hitting new levels of awesome! Which also has me on the edge of my seat waiting for that next masterpiece from her, especially in this series! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Meltdown series has sucked me in and book two, Broken Lyric, is just as well done as Fractured Beat. The characters jump from the pages and play the readers' heartstrings like the instruments they play on stage. The emotions in this one are a bit heavier: lies, secrets, loss, and deceit abound. But the friendships and love found in the characters allow the story to progress to a satisfying conclusion.
Nash has faced loss before, making him closed off to the idea of finding love. The relationship with his mother is special. They've been alone since he was a baby and the impending tragedy of that relationship weighs heavy on the man and the story. Finding solace in his music, he fights the siren's song of the caregiver hired to take care of his mother.
Rowan's past life caused her to run. After losing her mother, her father changed and though he tries to do the best for his daughter, his get rich quick schemes eventually send her running from a monster her father has business dealings with. Caring for Maeve briefly gives Rowan a mother figure but puts the temptation of Nash in her way. Both fight the attraction, for completely different reasons, failing miserably.
What follows is a heartbreaking suspenseful story of a couple that has to fight the odds on several fronts to get to solid ground. The story is fast paced, the characters shine, the sex is steamy, and the plot is delightfully twisted. The reader again has to step over the red herrings laid out by Ms. Hilliard to try to figure out all of the suspicious characters wreaking havoc in the lives of the Meltdown clan. I am anxiously waiting the next book in this series because this rocker series truly rocks.

Broken Lyrics was an ok read. I was hoping for more with this series, but its turning out to be an alright rockstar series. I thought this book was going to be better than the first, but I'm left feeling a bit disappointed. Instead of loving Nash, I felt that this book focused too much on Rowen and not enough on Nash. I still feel like I don't know him very well, but I know everything about Rowen. The connection between Rowen and Nash wasn't quite convincing either. The story dragged on too long and had some unnecessary drama in my opinion.

The other thing that annoyed me about this book was how Grant was acting towards his bandmates and Nash and his feelings towards Rowen. Grant totally disregarded how his bandmates felt about Blaine and how he was acting. He constantly took Blaine's side and acted like their voices didn't matter until they find out some serious information. Grant also disregarded Nash's concern over Rowen. Even if he wasn't in love with her I didn't feel it was Grant's place to determine her worth and assume Nash was getting ahead of himself when Rowen goes missing. If the tables were turned and it was Mallory, Grant would be the same way. In the first book it was implied at how much Grant loved Nash's mom, but he shows no concern over the fact she's dying of cancer. So there were some things that just really annoyed me about the story.

But I will say that awesome jam session the band has where they had to perform cover songs that everyone shouted out was my favorite part of the book. I find each character interesting and find myself wanting to know their story, but I'm not all that excited to read the next book.
