Dennis’s manager has either set him up for failure or a chance to become lunch for the first zombie in the office. But as the days creep by, he finds sharing a cubicle with the undead isn’t what he expects.
Elliot Cooper is all about happy endings and positive queer rep in genre fiction - specifically subgenres of romance and erotica. His stories range from sweet to scorching hot, light to dark, humorous to serious, and everything in between. He loves to experiment with genre mash-ups and old favorite tropes, turning some on their heads, meeting others head-on.
This was an interesting read. I star reading it with some doubts about it but I ended up having a lot of fun with it. The main characters were both nice. I’m not that much fond on a zombie main character but I really liked Ted, he was a nice guy as well as Dennis.
The plot is good, it had a steady pace and being so short it was really easy to read it. I finish it in less than an hour and, even struggling a little bit at the beginning, the more I kept reading, the more interesting it became. I didn’t liked the ending too much, but overall I have fun time with it.
What a brilliant short story! This is not a romance but I do think it falls under the category of budding friendship. Since it's a short story I won't say much but it had me hooked from beginning to end. Sometimes things just have a way of working out in ways no one could ever imagine.
