Joonki is always just going through the motions of high school life. The girl with the good grades, good parents, and good life.
This particular part was not in the novel. Joonki's relation with her family was not mentioned in the novel so in short there was no mention about who she really was.
The novel felt like it was in its draft mode. I wish the author had added more story in the novel because I didn't feel any emotional connection with the characters as the scenes changed rapidly and there had been no proper character building.
The plot was good but felt incomplete.
