A dragon as a coworker? Complicated.

Adrien the silver dragon has everything most humans could want. But as a dragon awakened in the modern world he misses his old life, his powers (which have been temporarily restrained) and the way he used to lord his status over others. But one night when he sees someone vulnerable, someone with far less than he has ever had, he is forced to adjust his attitude and step in for someone who needs him. Someone who might just be his mate.

Kelsey has nothing. She’s been kicked down a lot in her life and always gotten back up, but a run-in with a mysterious stranger who saves her life when she is at her lowest changes everything. Now she has a job, a place to stay while getting back on her feet, and a man that looks at her with mysterious, silver eyes. Like all of the men at Date-A-Dragon, Adrien is almost unbelievably beautiful, but Kelsey has no idea the secrets that lie in store.

While Kelsey and Adrien learn to come together from different worlds, an old enemy from the past is fast approaching. Adrien and Kelsey will both face the fights of their lives if they want to claim their happy ending.

Silver is the second book in the Date-A-Dragon series! It contains ridiculously hot dragons, steamy romance, and strong, curvy women. Enjoy!

Kelsey has just left a bad situation and is looking for employment and enough money for an apartment. But until that happens she's doing whatever she can to stay warm and safe. Seeing a building that seems to only have people during the day, she intends to get in for the night to bunk down in a warm corner.

Adrien, the silver dragon, looks upon humans with disdain until he stumbles across a homeless woman who's sneaked inside his home in search of warmth. Kicking her out fearing she's some sort of spy, he then can't stop thinking about how and why she got into his home. Watching her walk away, he sees that she's suddenly being followed into an alley by three men. Sensing their intent is no good, he decides to follow to make sure she remains unharmed.

While keeping Kelsey safe from them, Adrien gets hurt. Helping him back to his house to notify the other people inside marks the beginning of changes to come for Kelsey. Could there be a home, job, friends, and a future filled with happiness for her?

Adrien and Kelsey are so much fun; watching them on this journey, getting to know each other and learning to trust. Silver (Date-A-Dragon) gives us laughs, smexy times, and the impact a mysterious visitor has on everyone.

I loved Adrien and Kelsey and look forward to the next installment in this series and more insight into Robbie's world.

I wish the author would stop being so repetitive. Every heroine has practically the same description. The dragons differ by hair and slight personality changes. This dragon series and the one prior are entertaining, but predictable. I'll keep reading because I want the completion of Citrine's story. I like the guys and their mates in the general sense, but the author is much too repetitive. Perhaps that's why she's able to crank out so many books. I don't know.

Silver

Adrien hated humans. They were so far beneath him until he met Kelsey. Kelsey was used to life being hard and here she was homeless. Sneaking in to the business she thought was empty to sleep. Then Adrien standing over her made her run.
Great story in the Date-A-Dragon series.

Soft men

The strong damsel in distress theme continues. Kelsey is amazing. I would have liked more of her backstory besides just the jerk boss. Aiden turns out to be just as soft on the inside as Dante. Another great couple.

This was a really good story. I really liked both Adrien/Silver and Kelsey and really liked how they got together.

Kelsey is a struggling women when the story begins. She's never had good luck and has had to fight for everything she's gotten. Kelsey's situation got worse and she ended up homeless, with only the contents of her backpack to her name.

Adrien/Silver is an ancient dragon that was frozen (along with 2 other dragons, Gold & Platinum) for centuries, only to awaken recently. A number of dragons have woken like this over the past few years and not all are ready to live life in a world where shifters aren't known of and dragons don't exist (and humans rule). Because of the trouble that some dragons have caused, a powerful oracle has been "taking in" the newly awakened dragons and suppressed their dragon powers until they find their (human) mates.

Kelsey is looking for a place to stay and notices a building that seems to be a place of business but doesn't appear to have locked doors. She sneaks in, hoping to find a warm corner for the night and to be gone before anyone shows up for work in the morning. Things don't go as planned when Adrien finds her and thinks she's a spy/stalker. Kelsey runs and almost ends up in a bad situation but Adrien saves her...getting hurt in the process. As the situation unfolds. it seems there's something between Adrien and Kelsey so she's given a job and an apartment in the building. The initial attraction between Kelsey and Adrien is strong and although she's leery and he's inexperienced, they do manage to start up a relationship. Adrien has a bit of a tough time trying to woo Kelsey considering he doesn't know how to tell her he's a dragon, but it works out in the end. There is a bit of drama/danger but it's mostly from outside sources (which I prefer). By the end Adrien and Kelsey and firmly together and starting on their HEA.

I really enjoyed this story. Kelsey was a really good heroine and I liked her a lot. Adrien was a bit condescending at first but he shifted his attitude quickly and did well at being Kelsey's "white knight" when she needed him so it's easy to let his initial attitude slide. After he realized Kelsey was something special to him, Adrien was a great hero. Overall, I liked the characters and really enjoyed the story (it was pretty engaging) so I'd recommend it. :)

Loved it!!!!

Terry Bolryder writes some of the best shifter romance I've ever had the immense pleasure to read. Her series sets are amazing!!! I love them all, and own them all. Each and every one are boy one brilliantly written and with such vivid scenes and storylines you can't not love them. These newest ones are Rent-a-Dragon, and Date-a-Dragon. This one is Silver's Date-a-Dragon story. Adrien, our Silver dragon stumbles, literally, into his mate. It totally changes his outlook and humans!!! Beyond lovely. I can't wait for Sever's story, and possibly Citrine's story with Robbie.

This one was interesting, since it was about the dragon who hates humans. I liked how he was presented, and how he changed. And his mate Kelsey was perfect, in the sense she was his complete opposite, and at the same time they were very similar. Adrien was one of the characters that I liked the least, but in this book, I changed my mind, he was actually very likeable. Again, we get to see more about the dragon that was behind all the metal dragon's problems, and we get to get a little closure, even if they never fully explain what his problem was.

From the time we were introduced to the Silver Dragon, back in the Rent-A-Dragon series, I felt it was going to take quite an unusual and unique woman to pierce Adrien’s heart. I would say that Kelsey fits that description very well. At the moment Kelsey is on the streets. She’s just escaped a situation that was both appalling and dangerous. She’ll look for work in the morning, for now she needs a warm place to sleep and that building with very little traffic looks perfect – especially since someone forgot to lock the doors. It wasn’t breaking and entering if it was unlocked, right? Kelsey had no idea that by entering that particular building her fate was sealed… with a silver dragon.

Adrien stumbled onto the intruder, actually almost stepped on them as he entered the hallway. Another of the disgusting human females probably spying on them or something. He took great pleasure in scaring the female out of the building where Date-A-Dragon has set up shop. Yet why was he compelled to watch from the window to see where she went? And why when it became obvious she was in dire danger did he overlook his disdain of humans and rush to her rescue?

I enjoyed Silver so much. Part of that enjoyment comes from discovering a completely different Silver Dragon than we’ve met before. This Adrien is nicer, more approachable – of course that’s only because he’s found his mate in Kelsey, but still it’s a nice change from the jerk he once was. I had fun watching their romance unfold. There are also several thread woven into this story that will lead us to the next few stories… and maybe beyond. Time will tell on that part. But then, I love a good mystery and it’s always a treat to try to figure out where we’re headed next.

In Silver you’ll find a lovely, strong and determined heroine, one sexy dragon with his own ideas about humans, danger, mystery sexy times and a story to capture your attention. I would definitely recommend this story and this series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. It’s a fun adventure.

I read this story through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

I can never give Terry's Dragons enough stars (5 just doesn't seem enough).

Adrien (our silver human hater from the previous metal dragon books) feels lost in this new time that he has woken up to. Tricked by Mercury, (during the Rent-A-Dragon series) he has been collared by the oracle until such a time that he can learn to care for and help protect humans. Floundering and with a true disdain for humans Adrien still goes to the rescue of Kelsey (as no self-respecting dragon would ever allow a woman to come to harm). Kelsey has suffered a lot of hardship in her life but her rescue by Adrien and the dragons' subsequent help, give her a chance to turn her life around. Kelsey's strength to bounce back from whatever fate throws at her and her ability to roll with the punches makes her the perfect match for our Silver dragon. The other dragons seem to know off the bat when they met their mates, Adrien's slow journey to realizing that Kelsey is his mate made for a more intriguing story. Kelsey's no nonsense way of dealing with the problems at the agency helps Adrien view her in a different light.

This story brings new dragon powers and the set up for Citrine's and Sever's stories. I love that the author gave me another Aegis fix (yes! Aegis gets a cameo) and my favorite dragon was again shows his true self!

I received a copy from the author and I voluntarily reviewed this book. I also purchase and borrow Terry's books with Kindle Unlimited. If you are looking for some fun, interesting, and quick reads, I would definitely recommend any of Terry Bolryder's books (her dragons are my absolute favorites).

Adrien didn't like humans. Especially human females who thought they could put their hands all over him. Just cause he worked as an escort didn't make him a...well it didn't. How was he supposed to find his mate if he didn't even like their touch? Then, once upon a time, a woman tried to sneak in to spy on them, or so he thought. That is until she ran and some men tried to assault her. He couldn't have that. When he'd protected her but been hurt in the process, she half drag-carried him to his door and got the attention of the other dragons. Not that she knew that is what they were. It got her a room, and eventually a job. Could this be the beginning of a turn around in her life?

The next morning is a scene neither of them will forget. Their relationship is really touching. A woman who distrusts men. A dragon who distrusts humans, especially human women. Can they possibly find a future? He is charming in an old world way. She has experienced so little despite working so hard. I really love them being mates. Just how is he going to explain it? Will she accept the dragon side? The past comes back to interfere in her life and someone they know as well.

The ongoing story is a good one. Will some other characters we care about find each other? Will Adrien be able to protect her and will she learn to trust? A good read as always with this author.
A strong recommend.

I've read a lot of Terry's books, and Silver is one of my favorites. When I read the back blurb and heard that this was going to be a coworkers story I wasn't sure it would hold my interest. But Silver has so much more going for it then that.

+ A down on her luck heroine who, despite the many challenges she has faced, shows true pluck and grit that made her extremely likable.

+ A complex hero who becomes more understandable and whose personality evolves to make him worthy of the heroine, but who never fully loses the edges that made him interesting in the first place.

+ The best kiss off to a character who hurt our heroine in the past since Vane Kattelakis paid $10,000 so Bride McTierney's stuff wouldn't be dumped on a sidewalk. (Those characters are from Sherrilyn Kenyon's "Night Play" if you'd like to compare.) This is a lot more angry, but what the person did / does is a lot worse. I'll admit this may be a plus or a minus depending on the reader, but I like heroes who defend their love interests, and given certain aspects of Adrien's personality, what happened here fit him and the story well.

+ Cameos from other characters in the Rent-A-Dragon series. Getting to catch up with previous couples, or catch glimpses of future heroes and heroines, is one of the things I love most about Terry's books.

As usual, Terry's world building, characterization and plot within her dragon novels grabbed my interest from page one and didn't let go. Highly recommended.

I'll never tire of dragons!!! Adrien is the silver dragon and the one who is the most disgusted with the current world and humans. When he kicks out a woman he believes to be a stalker squatting in their Date-A-Dragon building, he can't help but watch her leave. He quickly discovers she is homeless as she goes across the street to the alley to try and get some sleep. Feeling guilty for kicking her out into the cold, Adrien comes to her rescue when she is accosted by a group of men and takes her back to the Date-A-Dragon mansion. Kelsey has hit rock bottom, again, but she is use to be treated like garbage, so when the gorgeous guy comes to her rescue, she's not sure what to expect. When they offer her a job with an apartment and food it seems too good to be true but she hasn't felt safe in so long, she can't resist their offer. Adrien has gone from the humans are scum camp to I want this human as my mate, how do I make it happen camp. He has a lot of work ahead of him, but strangely, Kelsey doesn't seem to mind his brash attitude. This was my favorite so far, Kelsey is such a strong character and Adrien is a closet chivalrous romantic, they matched up incredibly well. I am so excited that Citrine will be getting his story and that Sever will also be getting his healing story as well!!

So Much Better!!!

This is Book 2 in the new Date-A-Dragon series. This is my favorite. It was much better than book one. This one explained more in detail the things that were hard to completely understand from Book 1. It kept my attention at all times.

It's Adrien and Kelsey's story. He is basically a very grumpy dragon who is definitely not happy because he is a collared Dragon shifter who has his powers dormant until he can find his fated mate. He can't believe his friends feel it is with a human. He can't stand those at all. He is sick and tired of how handsy they are. When he comes across one that broke into their home and is lying on the floor, he runs her out. He is shocked when he does not see her get into a vehicle, but realizes something different. He can't let things stand...His Guilt is eating him up.

She is determined to get out of the rain and be safe. She breaks into a building and thinks she is alone, so she gets into a sleeping bag. Not such as great idea now because she hears footsteps. What a jerk! Who is handsome to boot. She has to flee and decides to bed down in the Alley. Maybe not so safe.

A really God story. I am glad that the author did so much better in book 2. I home the next two stories come out soon!

Adrien is the silver dragon. He is very angry. He wakes up after being buried under an avalanche for centuries and blames the common metal dragons. When he finds out the truth, he is a captive of the oracle with his powers bound. He is supposed to find a human mate to regain his powers but he hates humans. He is expected to be a hired date for Date a Dragon even though he hates to be touch by strange women. Then one night he runs across Kelsey in their clubhouse. Kelsey is going through hard times and she is homeless. She snuck into Date- a dragon's building to find a safe and warm place to sleep. When Adrien catches her, she runs out to the alley and runs across a group of men who want her. Adrien was watching Kelsey confusedly. He thought she might be a spy or a stalker but she is homeless. When he sees her accosted by the bad men, he steps in and rescues her.
I loved this book. Adrien is so sure he hates human that he is clueless why he feels so strongly about Kelsey. Kelsey has been through some very rough times but she doesn't let it get her down. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

An unfortunate incident has left Kelsey homeless and in need of a warm, safe place to sleep for the night. A little trespassing won't hurt anyone and Kelsey plans on being gone before anyone knows. One problem, the building isn't as empty as she thinks. When Adrien finds a human female huddled in the floor he assumes she is a spy or a stalker and kicks her out. As he watches her leave, Adrien realizes his mistake and finds himself coming to her rescue. Since Adrien "dislikes" humans his reaction to Kelsey raises questions. Could she be his mate? As these two grow closer, an enemy of the dragons plots against them. Will his plans destroy not only the dragons but Kelsey and Robbie? I love Ms. Bolryder's dragon's and can't wait for the next story. Will it be Sever or Citrine? It really doesn't matter which because both dragons are "yummy". Although, I have been waiting patiently for Citrine's story *snicker*.

Another great dragon story. This is Adrien and Kelsey's story. Silver ( Adrien) is the second-in-command of the of the noble metals, and one arrogant human hating dragon. He is unhappy living in the present and unable to fly like a dragon should. He is the most difficult dragon in the Date-a-dragon group. Kelsey has entered the Date -A-Dragon building looking for a warm place to sleep. She is down on her luck and homeless. Adrien finds her and thinks she is a spy and chases her away. He watches her enter a dark ally followed by several men. Low and behold the hater of humans comes to her aid causing him injury. Kelsey must help him back to his home to repay the debt she thinks she owes. Asked to stay and get to the bottom of what is going on she stays.
Who is the woman Adrien thinks may have sent the spy and why does one of the rejected woman keep coming back? Is Kelsey really his fated mate? Will she be able to over come her experiences in the past? I give this story5 stars. "I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy without pressure to do so".

Anxiously awaiting books 3 and 4!

I just recently discovered Terry Bolryder's Dragon shifters books and have enjoyed them immensely. Unfortunately, now it seems that I have caught up and am now having to wait to find out about the last 2 dragons. I think I liked this series the best so far, because of the emotional depth in it. There is something a little more special when you watch a character grow into something better. The heat and the excitement are there, but watching Silver grow was phenomenal. I can't wait for the rest. I would recommend reading them all in order: Double Dragons, the spin-off Tiger Protectors, The Awakened Dragons, Rent-a-Dragon and then Date-a-Dragon. The first 3 are available as boxed sets for the Kindle which is how I got them. If you don't want to read all of them, then start with The Awakened Dragons, the other 2 series follow closely after that. I am very glad I discovered these, and think you will be, too. Enjoy!

Silver is the second book in the exciting new Date-A-Dragon series, and it's a definite must read! I was hesitant to read this book, because I honestly thought that I wouldn't be able to like, let alone connect with, Adrien. In the first book he seemed like an arrogant, childish, jerk, but I should've known better than to judge by first impressions, or even second one's. Lol!

Adrien and Kelsey's story is an emotional roller-coaster. They've both been through extremely difficult times, and are both just trying to do what they can to survive. When Adrien realizes that she's his mate, he shows her a different side of himself that he thought was buried, just like they were. Kelsey understands him more than anyone else ever has, even his friends, but he sees her as well. They're the perfect balance for each other, and make a incredible couple.

I really loved this story, and can't wait to see how Sever's turns out. I highly recommend this book, series, and fantastic author.

Passion and fighting.. just the way I prefer it

Silver, or Adrien, is the angriest of the noble metal dragons. And by far the most amusing. Terry redeemed herself in this one after the first one about Dante almost made me not want to read the rest of the series. Both Adrien and Kelsey had doubts about their feelings towards the other and they truly are the perfect match. Adrien with his hate towards all humans, and Kelsey coming from a very hard life because of other humans changes Adrien in a good way. One of the best parts was that Adrien’s anger wasn’t necessarily misplaced towards humans, he has very strong morals and values that others did not follow. Kelsey figures that out almost instantly which causes Adrien to adore her even more for her strength and outlook on life. This one definitely had a nice balance between romance and action that I missed from reading Dante. Hopefully the next one, Platinum or Sever, will keep up the pace.

Date a Dragon

As usual when I get the notice that Terry has put out a new book I drop everything and start reading and I am never disappointed. How do you send a dragon out to date humans that he can't stand, well it has definitely been a challenge. So when Kelsey just wants to get in out of the weather and finds the grumpiest man she has ever met you would think things are going on as usual but one look at Kelsey and Adrian can't stop watching her even after he chases her away. I love how there personalities bring each other out of the funk they are in. The humor and snarky remarks are always a plus in these books!! When Kelsey punches a client and Adrien grabs is stomach and doubles over laughing I laughed right along with him:)) Another great metal dragon story, I can't wait to read Severs story!! And eventually Citrines ;)

More Sexy Dragons...

I thought the Gem dragon series would be my favorite of Terry Bolryder's series but I'm pretty sure the Noble Metal dragons have usurped that place. I love Adrien! I love the changes he was willing to make and that he didn't leave Kelsey to her predicament. He embraced his mate and didn't turn back. Kelsey experienced her fair share of changes as well and was able to blossom into the woman she was meant to be. The book is the perfect length to tell the story in full and the pace keeps the reader involved. The prologue does an excellent job of setting the other stories in the series up and I'm so looking forward to those. There is the occasional bit of mushiness that might not appeal to some people but it really is pertinent to the characters involved.

This Series Keeps Getting Better and Better

Silver, a.k.a. Adrien, unwittingly sends a beautiful intruder into danger. Realizing his mistake, he rushes to her rescue. He saves her from harm, but is injured in the process. Kelsey helps him get home to his dragon friends Sever and Citrine. She stays the night at the mansion and is offered a job working for Date-a-Dragon and an apartment. Silver's courtship of Kelsey has begun. But an old enemy is impatiently waiting to destroy Silver and Kelsey's happiness.

This series is just keeps getting better and better. Love these characters. Love the storylines. So looking forward to Sever and Citrine's stories. And, because I love a good redemption story, I hope the dastardly Mercury finds forgiveness and love, too. Enjoy!

Anger to Love in 60 Seconds

Silver was shocked when opening the door, he almost tripped over Kelsey, a homeless women who somehow came into his building to get warm. He glared at her and scared her. She grabbed her merger belongings and scampered out of the building. He watched her go across the street and into an alley. H e thought she was as spy and thought she was going to her car. He was watching her roll out some material and then she laid down to sleep when some mean looking men went into the alley and scared her. That is all you get to know until you read this wonderful story. The storyline is really interesting with several twists and turns. The characters are complex and completely believable. It is a fun read and I recommend it 100 percent. Enjoy!

A nice light re-read, one I enjoyed and see myself re-re-reading.

Adrienne is one dragon who barely tolerates humans, but all that changes when he meets Kelsey, the moment she helps him is a turning point. The chemistry between Adrienne and Kelsey was hot and worked well. As they get to know one another and their bond grows, an old enemy re-emerges.

The series is predictable, but entertaining (for the most part).

Adrien was a sour puss. He was the once with a chip still in his shoulder.

Adrien thought humans were vile creatures. He was put in a collar and told that the needed to find a human female to mate! All he could think of was his past, until he almost stumbles across a female in front of his door.
Kelsey was now homeless. Her luck was terrible right now. She was watching a penthouse complex and needed a warm safe place to sleep. She just laid down in get sleeping bag when a very tall handsome man walks up to her. He seemed mean, so she quickly ran out. Adrien was watching her from a window, making sure she left; when he noticed she was laying her stuff in the street corner! With men fastly approaching, he knew she needed help.

I love all of Terry's Dragon books that I have read. The story of Adrien, the Silver dragon, and Kelsey, who starts out the book homeless, is no exception.

Kelsey sees the building that houses the Date-a-Dragon agency as a godsend. She needs a warm, safe place to sleep and this building that has been left unlocked and empty seems perfect. When a large, good-looking man finds her settling into her sleeping bag on the plush hallway carpet. He tells her to leave and she obeys.

Adrien is sure that the woman he found in the hallway is there to stalk him and the other dragons. Human women are not to be trusted. He watches from the window, expecting to see the women get in a car and drive away, when he sees her preparing to sleep in an alley he is surprised to feel guilty. When he sees a group of men head into the alley, he is incensed.

Kelsey can't believe that the hunky man she saw earlier is actually defending her. When he is hit over the head with a cinder block and eventually passes out, she knows she must now take care of him.

You will love the story of the dragon and the homeless woman. I can't wait for the next one.

I was given a copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Love is more precious than silver.

Adrien, the Silver Dragon comes across so very cold and mean in the previous books. Raised in the past that others were below him, He believes finding a human mate was something He would never do. Silver could not even think like that when all he wanted was to go to his old place back in his own time. Kelsey, his soon to be mate, has had a very rough time in life. She has worked and with one person devious deeds, she once again finds Herself on her own and home less. When Fate steps in, can these two get past so much loneliness, distrust and pain to find one another?
