Grief Demystified: A Companion Through Change

Rate this book
Change that brings loss occurs every day. Something happens that disrupts your plans and your sense of self, and you plunge into what seems to be endless calamity. You may have lost a loved one or a job, been injured in a car accident, or contracted a major illness. A change that, to others, might seem minor can loom large in your private world. But even when you feel most alone, you are not alone. People have had to grieve since forever. This book presents a lore of grief-stories about how grieving people have managed, from ancient days, right up to the present. If you’ve ever wanted to be less alone in your grief, and perhaps to cope better with loss, this book is for you.

Telling me that I should be grateful to have sole control of the tv remote control after my husband died is appalling and shocking. This lady has clearly never been bereaved.
