There are a lot of literature about the lean six sigma framework so the title looked anything than humble specially because I'm also reading lean six sigma bible (which is complete garbage). This book doesn't go into similar depths as more canonized books like the lean product development but this is a very versatile. Bringing in the updated version of the original seven wastes as also showing the formula for calculating the lean production efficiency. The missing shewhart charts made me wonder what kind of other decisions David Blunt made when writing and editing the book made. In hindsight the decision was good. You shouldn't go into to deep in detail as it is more of the black belt stuff. I can highly recommend this for people taking first steps into the lean six sigma framework as well for people who want to have a refresher of what it is about.
Used to research topic and inform training materials. I feel more working examples would be beneficial, particularly when explaining methods involving data, but the book has provided a good foundation of knowledge.
