Flames is a thrilling fantasy page turner in which Greek mythology plays a big part. Bell must figure out what she truly wants, and whether she's prepared to pay the price that comes with living on the surface.

Bell is done with her life in the underworld, and wants a life on the surface. As halfgod she has always longed to live in a sunbasked glorious world where she could truly be free, not held back by her father Hades. When she prays to the gods, she is promised a chance to prove herself. But first she must escape her father's realm, Erebus, with the help of her new fiance Luc.

When she arrives at the base for all mythical creatures, she forges new friendships and develops her magical powers, during a game of war. She gets to know Cierra, a fiesty girl with flaming red hair, a loyal yet secretive friend. Bell starts to develop feelings for Dovatio, another contestant in the Victorian games who will try to lead his own empire to victory. While Bell and Luc clash in combat, where he is Sedua's right hand, Bell must try to win the games with her ally Dovatio, to stop Sedua and her ally from winning. But at what cost, and how far will Bell be willing to go?

What is the secret bond between Luc and Sedua hiding? What happened between Cierra and Luc before she arrived? And will Bell be able to control her godgiven powers? Or will everything she's worked so hard for burn up in 'Flames'?
