WARNING
It is suggested that readers of this story be adults over the age of eighteen. This dramatic series has many scenes describing sex as well as intense emotional scenes and acts of violence.
This is a serial story with themes that flow from one book into another with lots of twists and turns. Reading this series from the beginning is highly suggested or the reader may not be able to follow all of the story lines.
Eden and Rafe are still navigating the difficulties that have erupted between them and figuring out what they really want. Not only from one another, but for their daughter, and from their lives. With old acquaintances, lovers, and friends all adding to the complication of deciding what they should do, and fate playing with their emotions, Eden and Rafe continue to live out their drama filled existence and strained relationship whilst wondering what fate might hold in store for them.
The third book in the Salvaggio’s Light series, Secrets & Rivalry is really filled with all the drama expected from a serial. For those in the UK, this reminds me of something we’d have in the form of a soap, and with each additional book the tension heightens, the drama becomes more intense, and the characters continue to change and grow; just like life.
I had no idea what was in store for Rafe and Eden in this addition to their story, I just hoped it wouldn’t end in tears. As this is part of series, I would recommend reading the previous two books before delving in to this one as the background of the characters is necessary to understanding the story, and other characters. I was not disappointed by the drama and the continuity of their up and down emotions. It was also great to see their friends still rallying around and supporting them both, helping to try and untangle the messy web being weaved outside of Eden and Rafe’s control.
As the series grows, I look forward to the journey unfolding for these two characters and have no idea what the future holds in store from them. I know it will be dramatic, emotional and adventurous though, which is super exciting.
Ok I was Laughing my but off during that obstacle course race. Rafe was cracking me up. I am to the point while reading this series that I wish they would just freaking talk to each other. Off to read book for definitely recommend this book.
