I love reading this book by Ashlee Price. It was wonderful older man younger woman book.
Ex-Navy Seal, Linc, was a playboy who drank too much, had no problems making women’s panties drop, and had standard hotel reserved just for him when he brings a woman there. But the first time he met Sky, she was moving into the apartment building that he owned. He was drunk and rude and mad that she called him because her key didn’t work to get into her apartment. Then the very next day had to call him because her tub leaked. Not only was she fast becoming a problem tenant, he was having problems with his ex-wife wanting to take his daughter out of state.
Sky was just freshly out of college and moving away from her family. Her first thoughts of her new apartment building were not very good. But he was fast becoming someone special to her. When Linc tells her about his ex-wife is doing to him, Sky states they should have a real wedding but fake marriage to show the courts that he is a very stable and loving father. What he didn’t count on was his new wife being a virgin and wanting to have her all to himself. But they had their share of problems getting to know each other better, there was still problems with his ex-wife, her boss sexually harassing her which caused Linc to punch him and getting arrested. Doing all this made their conquest to get to their HEA.

Received an advanced copy for my voluntary review by author. This book was hot. We have Linc a playboy who who has his own hotel room on stand by so he can bring his hook ups to. Sky first meeting with his was while she was moving into her apartment building which he owns. Unfortunately she has to contact him because her key was not working, but of course he is drunk, and mad, so he is rude to her. The next time she has to deal with, again not very good circumstances, she is having good thoughts about her new building, and he thinks she is a problem. Linc is also having problems, with his horrible ex wife, who wants to take his daughter away, and even though his and Sky's first couple of interactions were not great, they got much better, and he confides in her, and she gives him her suggestion they should get married, making it look real, but that they will know it is fake and the courts will see a stable and loving father. He didn't count on his new wife being a virgin and he wants her. Of course, they have problems, sexual harassments, exes, chaos. but they do get their HEA.

inc has some problems that he is going to need help with. First his ex-wife, Lisa wants to take their 8 year old daughter across the states to California. Link can’t let that happen. He wants to be with his daughter. His lawyer, Carol says he needs to get married to make his situation more stable. To make matters worse his new tenant, Sky is a pain in the butt.

Sky has just moved from Michigan to Denver for a better job and to get away from the small town. Their first meeting at the apartment did not go so well. Link was a jerk when her key did not want to work. He comes around and tries to be nice to her and Sky has her own issues art work with a coworker hitting on her. They agree to a fake marriage but what will happen when it is over?

The character were great and Sky was nice to read about. Link comes out of his shell and is not a bad person. Once these two start to learn about each other they start to have feelings. It was a nice easy read. A lot of steamy scenes as well.

This is a hot and steamy story. linc a retired SEAL and Sky the young virgin who rents an apartment from him. They start out rather rocky but they have chemistry and very quickly their lives are changed for the better.

Linc is having a hard time dealing with his malicious ex-wife Lisa, who’s taking him to court again to try and gain full custody of their daughter so that she can move away with her new husband. Speaking to his attorney, it’s revealed that one of his best options, to show stability in his life, is to get married.

Easier said than done, since he’s not even dating at the moment.

Sky’s just moved to Denver to get away from her family and start a new life with her new job. And meeting her new landlord doesn’t really get off to a great start, but she has to admit, even when he’s grumpy, he’s still quite the looker.

Through some faulty house plumbing which needs restoring – and overcoming their initial impression of each other, they soon develop an easy friendship, and fight the growing physical attraction they have to each other.

When Linc opens up to Sky about his predicament with his ex-wife and daughter, he tells her of his lawyers genius, but insane idea about getting married to help his chances. Sky, wanting nothing more than to help Linc who she believes is an amazing father, puts her hand up to be said wife, and allows Linc to firmly pursue his next step in ensuring that Sky becomes his wife in more ways than one.

Having characters realise how wrong their first impressions were of each other is always amusing to read, and the stages they go through when they realise that it’s not just a physical connection they have. I enjoyed how Linc and Sky slowly became more aware of the fact that the other was actually a decent human being. Occasionally, the ‘friendship’ chemistry between characters seem unbelievable and forced in some stories, but this was written so well that you could easily see why both Linc and Sky were able to fall so easily with each other.

What bothered me was how something as important as Linc being a father wasn’t really shown much. His daughter only really made a brief appearance at the end of the story, and it felt like she got pushed aside to make way for the main characters. I, personally, would have liked to have read more about Linc and how he actually interacts with his daughter at home, as opposed to just on the phone. For such an integral part of the story – the whole reason why Linc and Sky married – there wasn’t much of that relationship incorporated into the story.

Also, you learn at the beginning that Sky wants to get away from her family. But besides a very brief conversation she has with Linc in relation to why, my curiosity wasn’t appeased. I felt like there was more that she wasn’t saying, and it didn’t go as in depth as I would have liked. We don’t really get to learn more from her, unfortunately, so be warned that you may be left wanting in that aspect.

Amusing read, with a nice fairly slow burn between the two characters and lots of cute moments. Great if you don’t want too in depth story lines with an easy resolve.

This was a sweet book, it's a daddy's struggle to have a relationship with his daughter and is being prevented by the mother. She has since remarried and wants to move out of state with the child. Linc the father wants what is best. Sky is a girl out of college moving away from her overbearing parents, she gets a good job in a different state and has arranged a new apartment owned by Linc. They have a rocky start, but both long for each other and treat each other with more respect and kinder words. Sky is being sexually harassed by her boss and her job threatened. Linc steps in and takes care of the boss with a punch, Sky lies about knowing him. Sky suggested a fake marriage to Linc who already thought of that due to his lawyer saying it would prove a more stable life to the judge. They get married, Linc goes to court and wins more rights and the ex wife can't move out of state. Linc is arrested and Sky is charged with obstruction, the judge hearts the case and it is dismissed. Linc wants and suggests that the marriage be real, Sky has six months to change her mind. Let's just say they lived happily ever after. This is the first book I've read by this author and I enjoyed her writing style and can't wait to read more. I volunteered to read an arc copy for a review.

A great read about a single father, Linc, who enjoys his one night stands and a young woman, Sky, who ends up renting an apartment from him when she moves to the city for a job. Their first encounter is not a pleasant one and when Linc sees her again he sees her as the beuatiful young woman that she is. When her apartment needs fixing she calls him and they strike up a friendship so when he needs to get married to have a better chance for custody of his daughter she offers to marry him but then get an annulment when the dust settles with his daughter. Linc wants more than just sleeping in separate bedrooms, he wants the whole thing but Sky is holding a secret from him and when he figures it out, he is patient with her until she is ready. There are other situations as well that keep coming up between them, her leech of a boss, his ex who is a snake but they deal with it together.
A great read with steamy scenes, a hot alpha older SEAL and a beautiful young woman. I was hoping that there was a little more of his daughter and interaction with Sky and I also thought Sky was a little bit of tease and immature in the beginning but as the story went on she redeemed herself and the ending was worth it.

Linc, an ex-Navy Seal, will do anything to keep his ex-wife from gaining sole custody of their daughter and moving across the country. Little did he know that the answer to his problems would be his new tenant Sky. Sky, fresh out of college, moved to Denver to be able to stretch her wings and start her career. Her annoying (or annoyingly hot) landlord, Linc, was not a distraction she was willing to indulge in. But when she finds out that under that rough interior is a father who would do anything for those he loves, she is persuaded to offer herself up as a potential wife in order for Linc to retain guardianship of his child. Linc cannot believe is luck, he now has a chance a keeping his daughter in his life and getting Sky into his bed. But Sky has terms, this cannot be a real marriage, this is a marriage of convenience and in order to protect herself emotionally she will not sleep with Linc. But we all know what they say about the best laid plans...

A Review of Seal Me Daddy by Ashlee Price

Linc and Sky - 4.5 stars

This is the first book I've had the pleasure of reading by Ms. Price. I absolutely LOVE the cover on this one and the storyline is a good one as well. Having served missions in Afghanistan, Linc is used to dealing with a lot of crazy stuff, but his ex-wife takes the cake. She is trying to destroy him in every way she can by forcing him to cough up extra money for child support AND taking his daughter away where he cannot see her very often. His lawyer advises him to consider another marriage so that he can look more stable to the courts and have a better chance at maybe getting custody of Jazmin.

I enjoyed the comradery between Sky and Linc. The fact that she is so much younger than he is and that she is new to the area doesn't stop him from wanting her. When she agrees to his request to help him, he has to consider that another walk down the aisle might not be such a bad idea after all. The only draw back for me was with the grammatical issues I noticed while reading the book. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters.

I voluntarily reviewed and Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

4 estrelas.

An older man already scarred by his past and a younger woman who is ready to begin with her new life. A story that initially can give the impression that between the main characters there is a strong incompatibility. On the contrary, both are very alike and are a good match to one another. Although he may seem harsh, Linc, the male character of the book has gone through rough times with his ex wife and meeting a sweet girl like Skye leaves him floored. Skye on the other hand is a naïve girl who is immediately attracted to this broken man but she is too afraid to let herself go. This book is all about second chances and consequently the author proves that no one must ever lose faith in oneself. An enjoyable read, a story that begins with the impression that things are just hopeless but an enchanting happy ending will suddenly unravel in front of the reader's eyes.

A single dad and a Seal....what more can a woman ask for?!

Ashlee Price has once again managed to create a steamy, emotional story with a very hot and caring man in the form of Linc and the virgin woman next door, Sky! I loved how Linc's priority to gain custody of his daughter begins a 'fake' agreement between him and Sky but how we see this develop into love as they realise there is certainly nothing fake to their relationship. The more we see of them, the more we fall in love with these two and what they are both fighting for.

Ashlee has again created characters we root for and want to have a HEA, but are a bit sad when the HEA ends and the book finishes!

Certainly one to add to your TBR pile!

A hot and sexy former Navy Seal that's a playboy, drinks too much, is arrogant and sexy as all get out. Trouble is brewing in paradise as his ex wife threatens to move out of state with his daughter. His lawyer says he needs a wife and he has the perfect choice. His pain in the rear sexy new tenant who has just graduated from college. Fake marriage, real chemistry and a real virgin. Wonder where this goes? A great read, I loved this book from the first page and thought the characters of Sky and Linc were adorable and so well suited. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily chose to write a review. I thought it was appropriate that I read this book on Father's Day.

Happy reader!

I really enjoyed this story. While the book includes many extras this is only for the title book, extras that are part of this. That is a short story for a secondary character and the bonus epilogue. They are well written and the storyline is engaging from beginning to end! I really liked the characters they show a nice steady personal growth as they become a couple. I would definitely read more by this author and I hope she will bring us back to look in on this couple again.

This one was ok. Truthfully, I'd say maybe about 3.5 stars. I liked the premise, but I thought some parts of the story dragged and were overdone with information. Then, other parts were skimmed over, without a lot of background (Sky's family?). Don't get me wrong, what was there was entertaining and Sky and Linc do have some funny scenes along with a good sexual chemistry. I think I was just looking for a little more oomph in the characters and plot.

Linc needs every advantage he can muster in order to keep his ex-wife from moving their daughter across the country, and Sky is the new tenant who has no experience with men but still is as sassy as she needs to be. Linc is hotter than hot, a perfect alpha bad boy with a heart of gold, and there's no way Sky - or any female readers - can resist his considerable charms. It was really sweet to watch their relationship grow and develop, and their HEA and epilogue is wonderfully satisfying. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Spoilers ahead.

This was an OK read unfortunately. I was under the impression that it was going to be a different kind of read but alas no.

I really hated the start of the book. I don't like to read about the hero's having sex with other women except the heroine even if it is before they meet. Just, no. Especially not as descriptive as this scene was. Needless to say I skipped a few pages.

They story was ok as I said. There wasn't enough for me and just as I was getting in to it, it ended.

3 stars.

SEAL Me Daddy by Ashlee Price was a great read. Hot, fun and sexy it was very enjoyable. Linc is a sexy single Dad fighting to keep his child. His Lawyer says a new wife will help. Linc has the perfect candidate, Sky. It may start out as a fake marriage but the attraction is all too real. You can not help getting attached to this couple. They have sizzling chemistry. I'm rating this book at 3.5 stars

Although I enjoyed the story I couldn't quite connect with the characters, the story didn't quite flow properly.

There was a in depth sex scene with the H and another women at the start and to me it kind of put me off him a little because of what they did

I did enjoy the older man and virgin aspect and there were a couple of hot scenes between the main characters too.

I loved this book. It is a funny story between a man trying to keep his ex-wife from moving away with his child so he proposes marriage to a tenant of his. He is finding it harder and harder to keep his hands off of her and little does he know but she is feeling the same thing. I couldn't put it down once I started reading it and I'm sure you will feel the same. This is my first book of Ashlee Price but it won't be my last.

Hold on to your seats fellow readers because this book takes you on one hell of a hot and super sexy ride, as only Ashlee Price can deliver it. This story has the normal emotional and sexual highs and lows and ups and downs in what is supposed to be these characters' normal life, but with some extra zingers thrown in for good measure. I don't like novellas. A author does NOT have enough time to develop a storyline or allow us to get to know the characters.

That said. The story was fun. Thoroughly enjoyed the book..

This book is a nice love and story between an older man and his new tenant. The chemistry is present but the sex scenes are very few. I'm accustomed to more sex scenes with this author. I still enjoyed the love story.
