Immerse yourself into this engrossing read...I am sure it will be quite the ride!

I received an Advance Reader Copy for this story written by Gabi Moore and voluntarily reviewed this book. This is the first installment of her 3-part series, and it is told all in Nora Smith's POV. This title actually says it all...be prepared to follow her as she switches between the persona of a woman taking care of her disabled older sister and a professional Domme, relishing her control over her needy customers, until one day, her most prolific and successful client Jeff Cane turns the Domme/sub tables on her and throws her for a total mental loop. When she puts much-needed emotional as well as physical distance from Jeff and his demands, someone else from that family shows up on her doorstep...his son Dean. Taking on Dean as a client also leads to allowing him into her body and her real life...as well as her heart. What happens next is something that she could have never predicted, but now she is in much too deeply immersed and might not be able to draw herself back from being sucked into the developing darkness.

This is an engrossing read, with mystery and suspense, intermixed with increasing loss of situational control for Nora, both in her private and business lives. I am wholly looking forward to reading what happens next, because it appears that both sides of her have been slowly knitting together without her even realizing it, and she won't be able to simply be who she was any longer.

Annoyingly stupid FMC. Maybe I’m as well for continuing to open my Kindle app to finish it. The MMC probably had less than 1% of the dialogue throughout the story. It was a bizarre read, with a bizarre concept of romance, ie. while being finger-banged, the FMC thought “it felt romantic”. This book was overhyped on booktok, causing me to hope it would get better. False assumption on my part, made worse when it ended on an anticlimactic cliffhanger.

Dark, sexy, emotional and brilliantly sinful telling of a wild journey learning the true nature of revenge and attraction as they relate to the couple and the discovery of their possible future. Loved every darkly engaging twist and turn, author had me hooked from the first chapter. Excited for more of their journey in the coming stories of this series.

the only part i like is the torture scenes are those dont even last a lot of pages

like we know *insert MC's name* youve been through raping and seeing your dear brother being tortured to death but TURNING INTO A SERIAL KILLER TO GET REVENGE? a little dramatic if you ask me but hey i stan a drama queen 😌 xx

A completely mind-bending tale laced with a little bit of this woven in with a whole lot of that-

Nora - She controls her her life, her world and everyone who enters it with a tight leash and an even tighter set of rules.
She is one of the elites in her world - one of the best at what she does- she is a Domme- and she has all the control (doesn't she ?)

Dean- He has a special kink, a secret kink. He only wants to please her, truly please her and that is what he does, it's all for her (isn't it?)

Mr. Cane - She is my Domme - I love her - but I want more and I know she needs more - I saw her switch, I know it is what she wants - but she shut me out, she says I broke the rules - But I am the client I make the rules (don't I?)

Moore does it again -this time she takes us on a journey of suspense-intrigue - subterfuge- jealousy-revenge and a very twisted tale of love - One extremely sordid affair that will leave you just a touch mind f@cked

This is book one of the three in the series - know that going in so you do not get to the last page and toss your Kindle- don't worry book two is already out :)

Not even really sure what this was about. This book could have really benefitted from a dual pov. Despite ending on a cliffhanger, I have no desire to read the next book. In addition to the plot being SO vague I wasn't even interested in it as a mysterious idea, the grammar and spelling mistakes were frequent and that just rubs me wrong. Also, zero actual 🌶️.

I read this by mistake. I wanted to read the mindf*ck series by ST Abby and downloaded this thinking it was that. I was on a plane and only had this on my kindle, so I read it. It wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t that good. I liked the writing style quite a bit, but the plot wasn’t for me. Would definitely read something else by this author, though!

while this book was entertaining, there were so many spelling and grammatical errors that were hard to ignore. they kept bringing me out of the story, and honestly ruined the story a little bit. an editor was severely needed. my stars say 3 but I'd give this a 2.75-2.9.

This is an interesting book by Gabi Moore. Nora Smith is a Domme that depends on everything to make her life work in order. Her clientele is high profile men that not only depend on her discretion but she also depends on theirs. So when one of her clients starts pushing the boundaries she decides it is time to back off.
At the same time that she puts a stop with Client J. A new client shows up. He is mystery rolled up in handsomeness and light. She has no idea what to make of him or his "kink" But when their sessions start turning into more of dating life takes a turn for the better or so she thinks.
Nora and her clients have an interesting relationship, all of them do, but Nora is a wonderful character and I loved reading her book. When she meets Client D her new client he brings out a whole new side of her that is just cute to see because it turns her into a woman that you don't see with anyone else. I really enjoyed this book and can not wait to see where this will lead.

This book blew me away and it wasn't until I reached the last page that I realised I was going to be left hanging as it was the first book of a trilogy. Ahhh I want to read the next one right NOW . This book was so different that you will either love it or hate it. I love books on BDSM but this was a complete other take a reversal I guess of what we are used to, a Domme not a Dom, a woman so tightly packaged that no emotion is allowed to escape. A woman who treats men like dirt, because that is what they want and she is filthy rich because of it. It is what happens when she loses her precious control that is so intriguing and to also lose her heart wow!
It is a book that is touching, steamy, very deep and a touch dark but oh so moreish.
If you love Gabi Moore you will love this book too. Recommended for lovers of erotica, romance and intrigue.

It's been a minute since I read a book from this author and yes I have to admit it was mostly to it being from her. Dangit if this book isn't aptly named. No it is not a standalone it is a trilogy but for a darn good reason. The complicated twist that I have seen so far is difficult to explain but the twist and turns and knockdowns and knockouts are crazy. First of all there's Nora who is an enigma herself, then Cane - hell both of them and no it isn't what you think but boy is it crazy. I love a twist and am so glad she didn't try to stuff it all into one book.

There is so much here and it is so well laid out that you find yourself reading and thinking crap, crap, crap then bam. Yup this author does it well and reminds me of why just seeing her name was enough for me to one-click and good enough to read in one sitting. I have to find out what happens next, what is real and what is an illusion.

This book is very much out of my element and usual comfort zone of stories. And Wow! I am hooked.

We follow Nora’s POV and see what a strong, controlling woman she is. Of course, there’s a reason for it. She can read men and can see right through them. She knows what it takes to break them and bend to her ways. She has rules set in place and there is no exception but to follow them.
Dean will do whatever it takes to please Mistress Morgan. He’s figured out what she wants and to truly please her he will give it to her. But she’s not having it.

This is my first story by Gabi Moore and she brought her A game. Even though this is not my normal type of read, she lured me in to her world. There was so much to this book especially the twists and turns, the suspense and especially the kinky stuff.

I am so glad I took a chance on this book and am ready for more. I encourage you to open your mind and fall into the world of complete erotica.

In true Gabi Moore style, this book isn't your typical bad boy type romance, it is so much more. Nora and Dean's story will capture your attention from the first page until the last and you will be hooked and left wanting more. I liked the fact with this series the first book is from Nora's perspective, she is a beautiful, strong, yet broken woman and her story will resonate in your soul long after the last page. I can't wait for the next installment in this series as it's from Dean's perspective and I know if his book is even half as good as Nora's I'm going to love it too and I know the third book which is from both of their perspectives, is going to break me with it's complexity.
These characters are likeable and well written, the story line was developed and the chemistry between these main characters is undeniable and off the charts hot!

One thing you can count on is that you can’t count on anything in a Gabi Moore book.

This is the first in a trilogy, so hang on for an extended ride. I can assure you that Gabi Moore’s books are well worth waiting for, though, so you’re going to want to get in on this story as soon as possible.

Nora is a strong female lead, but she’s met her match with these two men. The unique approach and plot creativity are hallmarks of Ms. Moore’s writing. The title is so very accurate – it’s really going to play with your mind, and you’re going to want to take the time to read it slowly, carefully, and repeatedly.

Ms. Moore’s books are always set in the deep end of the pool – nothing light and frothy about her writing – but this one is her most complex story to date. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I didn't know what to expect from this book but for sure nothing so complex. It took me about 3 hours of reading - I couldn't stop!
Nora is a young woman, that has a whole control over her own eyes! She's a Domme with strict rules to her clients. She establishes normal relation Domme-Sub with no sex. What will happen when one of her clients will try to break the rules and begins to threaten her - to make her submissive. And then he became like a psycho. After it, she meets his son. What will happen with this strange relationship? Will they manage to figure it out?
Dean knows about Nora's relationship with his father. He came to her to address his "kinky" thing. What does he want from Nora? Are his intentions true/clear?
This book is full of mysteries and steam scenes. And the twist was great. I WILL read book 2 for sure!

First of all, know that this is a three part book. This book is aptly titled. There are so many twists and turns, the characters are complex and just when you things are going well, Bam! Gabi had me hating characters, really liking characters, then becoming unsure and distrustful of my view of them. Let me just start with this is so an appropriate title. This books has so many twist and turns that I felt I was Mindf*cked. The characters in the story are complexed, just when you think you figured it form BAM out of nowhere your thrown for a loop. This book is filled with mystery, suspense, heat and danger. Leaves you wanting more. Fair warning this is part of a trilogy and this ends in one hell of a cliffhanger. Once I started reading this I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next two to see how it ends.

This is interesting story. It has a Domme, an ex client and a new client, and they are all playing a twisted game. Nora hides behind her Domme persona so that she feels like she's in charge of her life, but it's just a mask. Jeff plays at being submissive, until he changes the game. Dean plays at being a romantic, but he really just wants to be in charge. At the end poor Nora doesn't know what is happening.

Gabi Moore is a new author to me so I went in unsure of what to expect. I was not disappointed, I found this book to be very interactive with the reader as the main protagonist Nora periodically talks to us which throughout which i fpund to be unusual but quite interesting. It was surprising, filthy and fun with some shocking twists and hot as hell scenes with client D. Gabi has written a gripping story that leaves you wanting more and I am very ready to take a bite out of book 2 in this series!

This story really is a mindfuck. Is Nora in control or not? What is Dean's kink? What are Dean's intentions? Nora is an interesting character and she is kind of trying to be honest with herself. Her inner dialog is mostly honest, whether she likes it or not. Dean is exactly what she needs. At least that's how he appears. Take an expensive professional domme with a who's who of wealthy men as clients, a man who actually makes her feel, and both of them keeping secrets so you end up with a mess at the end. I can't wait to read the second book of this series!

Wow, this book is not for the innocent. I will say I was not sure on reading this book after the first couple of pages, but I did sign up for the arc. I will have to say that if you do not want to be totally mind blown by the way Gabe wrote this book, don't read. It draws you in like your the person being the Mistress thinking out loud, until she reminds you that you are the reader. I will say by the last two chapters it did slow down a lot. Just a reminder if your weak at heart and not into out right sex don't read. I received an arc copy for my honest review.

ok wow what can I say! appropriate title for sure , at first I wasn't sure about this book , it took me a while to actually get into it but as it progressed it just kept getting better , I thought I had it all worked out just like the book told me , I was however , like the book told me .... wrong! Gabi Moore has a way with her books that draw you in and keep you reading till you're done and this one is no exception. Once again you never know what to expect from this author and once again doesn't disappoint. A story of a woman, Nora, who has been hurt in the past and uses the pasts hurts to become a Domme to be in control. It has twists & turns, amazing characters, BDSM and steamy scenes....can't wait for the next one in this trilogy.
