Lola Sexton is the writer behind Sex Says, a successful relationship column at the San Francisco Times. She's a pro at advising others on their love lives, but if there's one thing she isn't in the market for, it's love. Reed Luca is a wanderer and a jack of all trades. He doesn't believe happiness comes from a nine-to-five job, or that success is delivered through a paycheck. But opportunity often finds its way to those who aren't looking. When Reed signs up to write an anti-Sex Says relationship column, the result is all-out war.

4.5 STARS QUIRKY AND UNFORGETTABLE STARS!

First off, I have to say that I had HUMONGOUS expectations for this book. From all the teasers that were posted the month leading up to release, to the cover and the blurb that is just fantastic, I was DYING to get my hands on a copy of this standalone novel. The build felt CRAZY GOOD and so, when I finally did get a copy of Sex Says, I literally felt like it was the BEST DAY OF MY BOOKISH life. And mother of freaking ahhh, it was so good.

Unique and quirky, absolutely enthralling, Sex Says is a love/hate romance that takes your expectations and CRUSHES them. This story slays. From the moment you pick up the book, to those last words, you are OWNED. And I mean owned. It's funny, it's sexy, it's heartfelt and it's refreshing. It's completely different than what I thought I was going to get and it blew me away.

Lola Sexton is a character you cannot help but fall in love with. Funny, snarky, eccentric, and downright ridiculously lovable, Lola is like a human unicorn (crazy funny and too cute for words). I wanted her as my BFF. Seriously. Can I be BFF's with Lola? I'm calling that now. Lola Sexton, you are my new bestie. I have a girl crush on you. And I feel like I can love you better than Reed can. Hahahaha! Just kidding, not really.

Talk about refreshing. I feel ENERGIZED by this book, by these characters. I feel like they were the most unique and well written characters I have read in awhile. When Sex Says starts we are introduced to Lola who is in a bit of a writing funk. She has a deadline and she can't figure out what she wants to write. You see, Lola is a relationship columnist for The San Francisco Times. And it is majorly popular.

Reed Luca is a bit of a vagabond. He does what he wants when he wants and his main purpose in life is to do whatever makes him happy. He lives an easy breezy life, going from job to job. He defies life expectations. One day, in a coffee shop, he happens to grab a copy of Lola's Column, Sex Says. He reads it and lololol, he thinks it's complete bullshit. It makes him feel passionate and he decides to make a video rebutal addressing this column.

And well.....

**AHAHAHAHA**

The video he posts to Youtube ends up going viral and what ensues is the best thing ever. When Lola sees Reed's video, she is pissed and the story takes you on the absolute best journey. It's just so good.

Really, I loved Reed and Lola. Their dynamic was intoxicating. I loved the fun and flirty way they reacted to each other. Even when they were being hateful, there was this completely hilarious element to it. And HOLY WHOA, they are dynamite in bed. Lola is, like I said before, a very eccentric character and so is Reed. Their quirkiness is such a refreshing thing to read in romance. This isn't your cookie cutter hate/love story. It's more than that. Max Monroe took the concept or trope, whatever you want to call it, and gave it the best spin.

I LOVED IT!

I loved every minute of losing myself in this story!

Overall, I highly recommend this read. I'm such a HUGE fan of Max and Monroe. They write flawlessly together. Their stories are always filled with humor and steaminess and the best takes on some of my favorite tropes. They are a force to be reckoned with in RomCom. The best of the best, IMO. And I'll read anything and everything they write because it's always so flipping incredible and consistently good.

Sex Says is nothing less than impeccable writing, dynamic dialogue, sizzling sexy times, and an absolute refreshing plot-line. A complete MUST READ.

Le giggle.

I'm not at all certain if I want to laugh at or with these characters. Lola and Reed, 32 and 31 yrs old, respectively. Both are quite immature.

Don't get me wrong, this book was F.U.N, but mostly I was laughing AT them. This story would have worked had the MCs been in their early 20s, having both in their 30s was definitely a mischaracterisation.

Love the cover, though. Those lips. Le sigh.

Anyhoos, so Lola is a 32 yr old who wears cut-offs, tank tops, and converse sneakers. To the office. Where she works as a columnist. Also, she roller-skates or bikes to her destination. *giggle*.

Reed is a free spirit who believes having a steady job is for minions. *double giggle*

They meet, they fight, they're attracted to each other. Then there's the obligatory plot twist which has the H doing something quite silly. He grovels, she forgives. The end.

Fun times.

5 STARS

Somewhere along the way, hate had morphed into dislike and then reincarnated itself into lust, and then, like had blossomed. I liked Reed. Probably too much. But I couldn’t help it. That intriguing bastard was too much fun. Infuriating bullshit columns aside, I couldn’t not like him.

It's official. Lola Sexton is my spirit animal and Reed Luca is my current obsession. Max Monroe have ruined me. Done and ruined me for any other man. They are now the proud owners of both my ovaries and possibly my first born. I offered all three to them for just another hit of the crackilicious addiction that was this book. They don't know it yet. But it's totally true.

Because ermahgerd! How is this the first book I'm reading by them? HOW? I'm kicking my own ass for this as we speak. What? I'm flexible like that. *sniffs indignantly*
He was unlike anyone I’d ever met. And did I mention I hated him? I did.

If you know me even a little, then you already know that the enemies to lovers trope happens to be my crack of choice. I pant for it like the addict that I am and each time I get a hit, it gives me the pervy happy feels. #TrueStory

And this book? This was the mother of all hate lust. It was the holy grail of enemies to lovers. It was deliciously sexy, kooky, quirky, and laugh till you have tears in your eyes and your stomach hurts kind of good.
Moving my gaze up from his crotch—it admittedly moved a little slowly—I finally settled my focus into the face of none other than my archnemesis. Reed Luca, looking fresh as a fucking daisy and smirking like the devil himself.

Lola was one of the best heroines I've read in a while. She was a woman after my own immature little heart. She was a funny, quirky, sharp witted, sarcastic ball of fun and I loved her. I SERIOUSLY LOVED HER. How can you possibly not love a free spirit that likes to roller skate to work and writes a relationship and sex column full of wit and humor. You can't! You seriously can't.

Enter stage right, Reed Luca, sexy archnemisis and bane of Lola's existence. Ever since his video response to her latest dating article went viral, he's been a thorn in her side. A sexy thorn. But she doesn't want to focus on that. She hates him. She may also wonder about the size of his penis...while hating him. And Reed was determined to drive her out of her ever loving mind and right into his bed. And let me just tell you, I applaud his methods. Wholeheartedly.
Lola Sexton was fun, and even better news, she thought I was too—she just didn’t realize it yet. She was antagonistic and opinionated and completely off her rocker. And now, I had her right where I wanted her.

The banter between these two was amazing. AMAZING. Every single time these two went at it with their verbal foreplay my ovaries got a happy tingle. Because oh my god did they go at it. With insults that is. What were you thinking, perverts? But I digress.

The romance was a slow sizzle, which I loved all the more.
Something about her drugged me right into oblivion—and despite knowing the downsides of addiction, I couldn’t make myself stop loving it.

I was at the edge of my seat, screaming for these two to finally go at it and rip each other's clothes off. I couldn't get enough. I was invested from beginning to end and loved every sarcastic barb with the heavy underlay of lust. It was delicious. Delicious I tells ya!

Add in a whole bunch of amazing secondary characters that only served to make the story that much more fun, and I was putty in these authors hands. PUTTY.
Reed This: Sometimes people can be at two ends of a line and end up next to one another. Because intimacy and love— they’re powerful enough to curve that line into a circle.

Basically what I'm trying to say here, is they have got themselves a new fan in me. If this book is anything to go by, I've been seriously missing out.

If you're looking for a quirky, addictingly fun and super sexy story that's as refreshingly different as it is tears in your eyes hilarious, you've found your next read. You're welcome.

➦This is an enjoyable quick read with an enemies to lovers trope. The heroine writes a column in a newspaper called Sex Says where she gives love advice to people. The hero, well, he seems to be doing a lot of different things with his life but he goes and publishes a video trashing said column. And for some reason the video goes viral.

➦I don't know, I'm not really sure. It's fiction... BUT. I just posted a bunch of videos trash talking a whole bunch of stuff I don't like. FINGERS CROSSED.

➦I thought the build up was done very well, I loved the sexy scenes - super hawt! The heroine was very quirky and I loved her character's qualities. She was determined and took no crap from anyone. The reason I didn't really LOVE love the book was the hero. Somehow he just didn't win me over. I suppose we all have different tastes in men even if they are fictional :D If you like romcoms then check it out!

3 -I did it for the book cover and then the book cover changed- Stars

That previous cover was a great seller. Those blue eyes, the cigarette hanging from those sexy lips... le sigh... Don't get me wrong... this new cover still makes Jewelsy happy, but the previous cover... le sigh....

Technically, all the elements I love in a book were all here in this book: Quirky humour, likeable & quirky characters, a chasing quirky H, a sassy & quirky h and no quirky OW/OM dramas. Sounds like a quirky recipe for success!

But there was something missing for me. I found myself easily distracted while I was reading this (I blame YouTube and "fake news" for said distraction). It wasn't poorly written or unentertaining. I just didn't feel drawn into the story enough to devour every page, nor did I desperately need to know what was going to happen next. And it felt like ages till I got my smexy action at 49%.

Maybe it was the calling of YouTube that overruled my attention, or maybe the story didn't have enough angst or storyline outside of quirky scenarios with both MC's playing the self-denial game during different stages of the book, to engage me enough.. either way, what I did read was enjoyable enough to finish, but it really felt like it took a loooong time to get to the end.

Others may love this book. Especially if they adore this writing duo's humour and other works. Safety lovers will also love that this is 100% safe. Told in dual POV and standalone story with a cute and (you guessed it) quirky HFN/epilogue. Recommended to those who don't get as easily distracted by "fake news" on YouTube.

Sex Says by Max Monroe
Romantic Comedy. Standalone.
I love weirdos. Seriously, some of my favorite all time books have the weirdest, quirkiest characters. Sex Says made me certain — I'm a weirdo lover. Because I can't even tell you how much I friggin loved the complete crazy that was Sex Says by Max Monroe .

Have you ever had one of those laughing fits that you just can’t stop and every time you think about it you start the giggles? Well I’m laughing right now as I pull this quote, but I’ll talk about it more later.
“I want to stab someone!” Henry shouted.
“Gotta get that approved by the president first, buddy.”

Shit, I have the giggles and can’t stop again!

Reed Luca is a 31 year old free spirit. He is a people-observer. He is a compulsive liar (just for fun and getting reactions). He is one of those eccentric geniuses. He flits from one job to another looking for insight on people, on the human condition….looking for new experiences and chances to meet with (and mindfuck) as many people as possible.
"God, this man lived his life so differently than most. Reed Luca was the guy who made his own rules without apology and never let social expectations veer his direction in life. He lived for himself— not for anyone else."

Lola Sexton is a 13 year old in a gorgeous 32 year old body. She is fun and quirky. She rides her bike, “Daisy” to work or roller-skates, complete with two braids. She writes a popular love and dating advice column called “Sex Says.”

One day Reed happens to pick up the paper and read her column. And he thinks it’s a total crock. So he decides to get on YouTube and make a video rebuttal. With his gorgeous face and intelligent observations, his video immediately goes viral.
“As much as I wanted to tell this guy to choke on his own penis, I had to take the high road. And then, when I got to chat with him in person, I could tell him off with that whole penis-choking scenario.”

Lola wants to meet with him to tell him off, but when Reed sees her, he knows she is his unicorn. She is another rare person like himself, that doesn’t do what society expects, she lives by her own rules, just like him. But to her, Reed is trying to ruin her life with his video against her.
"I had never really hated anyone in my life, but I really, really hated Reed Luca. With a fiery passion that made me better understand those women on that show Snapped—the one where they go off the deep end and kill their boyfriends or husbands."

Reed’s video was so well received, that a competing newspaper hires him to write a column just to refute what Lola says in hers. “Sex Says” vs. “Reed This”.
To: Lola Sexton From: Reed Luca Subject: Friends Sorry, LoLo, but I refute your assertion that we aren’t friends. We’re the best of, and it’s only going to get better. After all, I need to know you better than anyone, right? How else am I going to write all of my columns?
---
"I refused to resort to homicide. It was too fucking messy, and there was no way in hell I’d mess up my manicure and fresh coat of pink shellac for Reed Luca. I was a bit eccentric, but I wasn’t insane."

Reed loved to get Lola all fired up. So he couldn’t help but find her address to deliver his first column to her before it was printed.
Do not look down. Do not look at his crotch, Lola…
“Are you staring at my dick?”
Goddammit, Lola.

Moving my gaze up from his crotch—it admittedly moved a little slowly—I finally settled my focus into the face of none other than my archnemesis. Reed Luca, looking fresh as a fucking daisy and smirking like the devil himself.

Reed was so much fun, and together, the 2 quirky characters enjoying humanity together were perfect.
"Lola Sexton was fun, and even better news, she thought I was too—she just didn’t realize it yet. She was antagonistic and opinionated and completely off her rocker. And now, I had her right where I wanted her."

But Lola still wouldn’t admit she didn’t hate his guts.
I wasn’t a multiple-orgasm type of girl. Hell, before this, I often questioned if anyone was really a multiple-orgasm type of girl. I’d started to wonder if multiple orgasms were a myth—and I made a living writing a goddamn sex column. But apparently, they had their place, high in the sky like the unicorns of the sex world. And I had proof, as I was currently sitting on that majestical fucker’s back and riding it straight over the rainbow toward the pot of gold. Any second, leprechauns were probably going to start tap-dancing around my living room.
---
"Just because a man took you to Pound Town and let you ride a unicorn and find the leprechaun’s pot of gold didn’t mean you had to like him."

Honestly though, there was no way not to like the guy. He was crazy and funny and charming and immature as hell, just like Lola.
"Somewhere along the way, hate had morphed into dislike and then reincarnated itself into lust, and then, like had blossomed. I liked Reed. Probably too much. But I couldn’t help it. That intriguing bastard was too much fun. Infuriating bullshit columns aside, I couldn’t not like him."

Reed knew right from the start.
"I’d known from the beginning—she stood out. And something about her called to me. My unicorn."

I literally have about 50 more amazing quotes ready to go, and it just broke my heart to hit delete. So you have to grab this yourself and see what you are missing, but be prepared to giggle.

Likes:

•So unique and totally quirky!
•Funny and smart.
•I loved both main characters.
•The side characters were hysterical. I loved Lola’s relationship with her sister and how she loved to torture her. And I literally laughed till I cried at her brother in law having to get “governmental approval” on anything the kids wanted. I don’t know why, but …shit, I’m giggling again! This is so weird, the giggles come back every time I think of it.
•I literally smiled and laughed the whole time.
•So glad it was on the longer side for a romcom.
•Perfect end.

Dislikes:

•Reed came off as a bit of an asshole sometimes, but that was part of his character.

The Down & Dirty:
I have only read the very first Max Monroe book (twice, once regular and once on audio) and I absolutely loved it, they just wrote them so fast I never had time to keep up and read them all, so I am so glad they finally wrote a new standalone I was able to grab. I absolutely LOVE their “little world of weird and eccentric” in Sex Says; it’s quirky, silly, sexy, fun and oh-so-smart. Part of me wishes there was a way to make a series from it, but this couple is one-of-a-kind and they should totally stand alone. If you are looking to laugh your ass off at two intelligent, immature adults who like to experience all that life offers, Sex Says is a great story for you. I was a bit wary in the beginning, but Sex Says stood out enough to me that I know it will end up on my Best of 2017 list.

PS: I wish I knew who Max & Monroe was because I want to read their backlists!
Rating: 5 Stars, 4 Heat

Purchase Sex Says by Max Monroe
http://amzn.to/2mvpKUD Normally, I needed a face-to-face encounter to read a person’s intentions, but something about what I knew about Lola from her column and the careful way she’d arranged her words when emailing me spoke to violence I wasn’t sure I’d ever witnessed.

Limb amputation, genital mutilation, and a healthy hock in order to leave a loogie behind on the tattered body.

Would meeting up with the woman behind the words lead to anything other than some kind of police involvement? Though, really, I kind of miss them…

No, no. I was supposed to be reformed.

But even the converted could find themselves in trouble when they least expected it. An impulsive video on YouTube that led to millions of views was proof of that. My inbox was now cluttered with interview requests from various media sources, as well as hate mail from angered Sex Says fans who didn’t appreciate my candid view regarding their favorite dating and relationship column.

I stared at the blinking cursor on the screen where I’d opened a return email and volleyed.

Red wire, blue wire, red wire, blue wire…

      Goddamn, I couldn’t help myself.

Fuck it. I’ll cut both of them.

Check out the SEX SAYS PLAYLIST.

We're in San Francisco with 32 year old columnist Lola.
She's writing a dating/relationship/sex advice thingy in the SF Times.
SEX SAYS
She's a cute & quirky typical San Fran girl. She also kind of forgot to leave her teenage years behind her. (Pigtails, rollerskates et cetera!☺)
She's a bit different. Good different.

And then we have 31 year old Reed.
He's also not your typical romance novel hero - aka the Billionaire CEO, the Navy SEAL, the doctor, the rockstar...
He's... nothing, really. Up until a short while ago he was mostly chased by cops. He's some kind of free spirit. He studies people. He lies. He's a bullshitter. A nice one. He's not a bad person. Not a criminal.
But he's different. So very different.
But people say he needs to grow up. That's why he's doing real jobs now. Ok, yes, he's not doing anything long-term, but he's doing things he loves. How can you not love painting the Golden Gate for 3 weeks? He loves his life and everything in it.
But once he reads Lola's column, he can't help himself, he has to respond. And he does that via youtube upload.

Let the games begin! Because Lola is MEGA ANGRY now. And Reed is MEGA ATTRACTED to mega-angry Lola ☺☺☺

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH LOLA & REED?
WILL THERE BE A HAPPILY EVER AFTER???
BUY THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

This was so different to Max Monroe's Billionaire Bad Boys series.
Sooo different. But we're still reminded of our darlings a few times here and there.

We like Lola immediately. And we also immediately fall for Reed as soon as he starts talking to us. But we don't yet know what to think of him. He's so different. So verrrry different. He talks A LOT. He sounds a bit like a philosophy professor when he talks to us. He's just so wordy! I sometimes had to stop my eyes from crossing or closing when he told us things, Lola too. It felt like I was back in school and had to listen to the teacher talking about greek history. ☺
It's really all a bit wordy and sometimes not-easy-to-understand.
A bit like... if the Billionaire Bad Boys series was highschool type of reading then this book is law school level! (No offense to the Billionaires, I LOOOOVED THEM!!!)
But at the same time we love Reed so much - we just have to listen to him. He knows things other people just don't see or recognize. He's kind of existing on a different frequency than the rest of us. He's living his version of the american dream. He's happy. He's also so horribly smart and ugh...I don't even know what more to say about him. He's an amazing character. I never met anyone like him before! And he does all that in a verrry sexy package!

And the sparks between those two. Jeeeeezus. They set the pages of my kindle on fire!
They fight and argue and yell and shriek and all through Lola doing all the shrieking, Reed just watches her and slowly falls in love for the first time in his life. So adorable!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It took me a while longer than other books, because it dragged a little bit, it was just so full of words and philosophizing! But at the same time so very beautiful somehow with all those words and feelings and laughter and sexiness. But also a tiny little bit too much of a How-To kind of thing. Now idea what kind, but it felt a bit lecture-ish here and there. BUT I reallllly loved Reed and Lola. They were amazing characters. I might've enjoyed them a little bit more if they would've told us their story set in the Billionaire Bad Boy world. But they're also perfect right where they are.

Another thing - the guy on the cover, while reallllly hot, is not Reed. Reed needs to have a bit more of a smirk on his lips. He needs to look kinder and more approachable. This guy just looks bored and weird. Reed has never been bored! Not for a second in his life! He's a 'LIFE EXPERIENCER'! ☺

But don't let me scare you away with my weird opinions. Just read it. It's a beautiful story!

SEX SAYS was such an amazingly beautiful and very different kind of lovestory! You can't help but fall for Reed & Lola immediately! They're just amazing!
Please run to your nearest amazon for your own Reed, because this one is MINE! MIIIIINNNEEEEE!!!! ☺

So very great and funny story. You'll be smiling from the first page, and except for some turbulence during the plot, to the very end. It has a well written, funny scenes, dialogues and interior monologues. Lot of fun and more than enjoyable reading.

It's enemies to lovers story. Lola Sexton is a dating and relationship columnist. And Reed Luca is just Reed. He has a free spirit and grabs every job. One day he did a video on youtube about one of her columns and the madness began.

My favorite thing? Exactly amazing characters. I love Lola and her sarcasm. She is crazy unicorn. And she's roller skating! How amazing is that? You can not, not love her. No less a sexy rebel Reed. They have intensive and magical chemistry. I was very excited while reading it and oh those sexy scenes! HOT doesn't describe it.

It slowly building up and was well developed. In some ways it's very refreshing. Has cool vibration of awesome people and their and only their world. It's hard to even define what it is. But you can easily get addicted to it and read it from cover to cover.

I really, really enjoyed it. It was my first book of the author, and I certainly will read her next books. Just go and read it too, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Hilarious. Smart. Undeniably sexy. SEX SAYS was EVERYTHING I thought it would be and SO MUCH MORE! Whoever makes up the writing duo that is Max Monroe, knows this genre like the back of their hands. They make the genre of Romantic Comedy their bitch EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Lola and Reed were a BREATH OF FRESH AIR, giving us line after line of hilarious and witty banter. Lola Sexton is my spirit animal in every single way, and Reed Luca is the type of guy we could all fall instantly for. He tells it like it is, consequences be damned. Together, these two make quite the pair!

"Having a conversation with you is like being on a goddamn merry-go-round. We're up, we're down, and while it seems like you're having the time of your life, I feel like I'm going to be sick."

OMG! You guys! I could quote this book all damn day! There are so many hilarious and juicy gems in here. I wish I could post them all, but I'll only give you a couple.

"If he wanted to mess with the bull, he was going to get the motherfucking horns."

See what I mean when I say that Lola Sexton is my freaking spirit animal. I want to be her when I grow up...SO BAD! This book was so smartly written and so damn unique and clever, that I NEVER wanted it to end. The hate is real. The passion drives it to be something more. It was just SO DAMN GOOD...every single word of it. This isn't your typical enemies-to-lovers romance. SEX SAYS has the kind of depth you will not see coming, and when you finally GET IT, it will make the story THAT MUCH BETTER. I can't say this is a surprise because I've LOVED every single book that this amazing duo has released, but somehow, I'm still amazed how much these authors get me as a romance reader. This is everything I could have EVER wanted in a romantic comedy...it was just EVERYTHING!

Can you think of a guy you have met who really pissed you off each time you had interactions with him? The kind of person who just got under your skin and each time you see them you just feel mad? Did you ever think that the reason for your irritation was because there might have been some attraction there? Okay, this is not always the case but it is true for Lola Sexton and Reed Luca in this story.

Lola writes a newspaper column called Sex Says in the San Francisco Journal. She has a strong following and enjoys writing thought provoking words about sex, relationships and dating. She works from home and like most creative people she has moments of writer’s block and feels the pressure of deadlines.

When Lola is summoned to a meeting with the editor, aka her boss, she is convinced she is about to be fired so is already on the back foot when she is shown a You Tube video. A man called Reed Luca has vlogged a response to her column, in which he disagrees with everything she says. That is not the worse part though – he has millions of viewers and it is growing daily.

‘Other people go sailing or hiking or maybe take a kayak out in the Bay—I mess with people. Swear to God, it gives me all the adrenaline rush I need’ - Reed

After a competitor newspaper makes an offer to Reed, the column Reed This is born and each week Reed writes in response to Sex Says. He doesn’t stop there though, he personally delivers a copy of his column each week to Lola. Sweet, gorgeous Lola. Reed becomes infatuated by this pig tailed, roller skating ball of angry woman who obviously really needs to deal with all the pent up sexual frustration that she uses to write her columns. And he is just the man to do it.

"Something about her drugged me right into oblivion—and despite knowing the downsides of addiction, I couldn’t make myself stop loving it." - Reed

Lola hates Reed Luca. Pity her body hasn’t received the message though. Jeepers this guy is hot and that in itself makes her mad! He has gorgeous eyes, a sexy smirk and nothing seems to ruffle him. One minute she wants to clunk him on the head and the next she wants to kiss his face off. Gosh this man is annoying!

‘Reed Luca—the fucker—had officially gotten inside of my head. He’d mindfucked me, and it wasn’t good ole missionary. This was dirty, ass play, doggy-style kind of mindfucking.’ - Lola

Opposites attract right? These two enter into an unlikely friendship that quickly morphs into something neither of them expected. The connection between them is ridiculously hot and intense. However, what I loved the most is the banter between them. From Reed’s Facebook status t-shirts to the way Lola is such an individual – she pays no heed to trends, she has her own.

The story is told in alternative points of view so we get a great insight into their individual minds, their families and back stories. I must have highlighted half of this book as there was so many hilarious laugh out loud moments that still have me smiling when I think back to them. Another fabulous read from this author duo!

‘Obviously, my brain was still a little confused. Just because a man took you to Pound Town and let you ride a unicorn and find the leprechaun’s pot of gold didn’t mean you had to like him.’ - Lola

Enemies to lovers can really work. The idea that people meet and instantly strike sparks of hatred is, in some ways, more believable than when people meet and fall immediately in love. But, in order for the enemies to lovers to work, I have to be able to believe that they will like one another, I need to like the characters.

Reed and Lola were enemies. And, it is pretty clear the reasons they have to dislike one another. I liked Lola, yes she was quirky, and it felt a little forced at times to me, but that is the writing style, the over the top quirky, so I can look past that.

The issue is Reed. You meet him when he is bragging about his past while admitting that lying and playing with people is his favorite way to pass the time. I need to like the hero, I need to want him to show her why he is great. Unfortunately, I never got to the point where I liked him. At all.

He stood up for her at a cost to himself, still a no. I wanted this to make me like him, and I see the evolution of his character, but at that point, I think I was too far gone to have this make me really be able to connect with him. And I think that was the issue, he rubbed me the wrong way enough that I was never able to make the transition to liking him.

He went for the meaningful gesture, still a no.

So, this is my first book by this author and while I am not a fan of this, I can say it is well written. The pacing was decent and the evolution of the story was well done. I can even say that the characters were consistent and I believed them. But, this was definitely not a great read for me.

A new Max Monroe book's out and I didn't even know about it until release day! So I did what every devoted fan's supposed to do and first thing Tuesday morning it was just me, my e-reader and Sex Says.

And Reed This, Sex Says it was freaking awesome!

I fell in love with the authors' style in the Billionaire Bad Boys series, and while this book is quite different, their writing is still flawless perfection.
Unique story. Adorable, quirky heroine. And the hero... Reed is way different than your usual leading male character. I mean, come on, he's a vagabond, a pathological liar and does what he wants, what makes him happy, not what society, his family or anyone else would expect him to do. He's not just hot AF, but also ridiculously intelligent and has such a kind heart. The banter between him and Lola was the top of the entertainment mountain and I ate it up like triple chocolate mini muffins with whipped cream on top. Okay, that was a horrible metaphor, but you catch my drift.

Reed This book ASAP! And make sure that while you laugh your butt off and swoon at Reed's antics, you read these precious pages very carefully, because it has a lot to say.

I will say it took me a bit to really get into this book. At first I just wasn’t connecting with either character. It is hilarious, which was what had me hooked enough to keep going.

Once I started connecting with the characters I really liked both of them. Reed Luca sounds delicious. He’s cocky but it really works for him and I love his sense of humor.

Lola is quirky and eccentric. I love her personality. I also loved the families of both these characters. All the characters were comical and just added so much to the story.

The sexy scenes were sensual and their chemistry was combustible.

*I can see where it would be a complete hit or miss on this book for people*

Reed This: Sometimes people can be at two ends of a line and end up next to one another. Because intimacy and love— they’re powerful enough to curve that line into a circle.

Squuueeee!!! Have I told you how much I love Max Monroe? I mean this duo is just a whole bunch of brilliant. It all started with that "Colleen Hoover" post that was just so trending and really did caught my attention to that series they released about billionaire bad boys that made me fall in love and up until now I've been missing a whole lot, and then now, to this book that was just so effing long with a another bunch of craziness!!! Like, what?Is this duo for real? Because fuck me if I say I'm not in awe with their skills because I am.HARD.

Yep! That I am! And Sex Says?Hoot!!Let me tell you, this book is sooo long my eye balls almost got out of my eyes. But holy guacamole!!! There 's no way in hell I'm gonna let a pass on it. I devoured this baby and I am soooo glad I did not let my judgment on the lenght blurred my vision, because this book is all sorts of fun and enjoyable to read. I am so damn entertained! And this right here is the reason why I love this duo's writing. I get to be entertained and in the end left me with good vibes. It's another version of their craziness put into writing portrayed by a whole lot of crazy characters, delivered fantastically. Hands down!

But you know what's more? Okay ,I guess I'm gonna list down huh?

1.) The Cover - I am a cover whore! And this cover is just perfect for this book. Yeah, I know I couldn't see any abs and even a little tease with what's below compared to their other works but damn, I love the intentisity it portrayed. Panty melting!

2.) The leads name - Lola and Reed, oh well then, just by this alone it's a 5 star for me. When you get to meet this characters, their names just screams right effing brilliant with their characters. It definitely, described who they are. You know what I'm talking about right? ;) Yeah, like definitely this is Lola and Reed and no other name better suits their characters.

3.) The Pacing - It's so long but the fast paced and tone of the book never bored out
the hell out of me.

4.) The writing - This is just perfect. I mean, for a romcom lover, I am sold out with their writing. Yes, it was kinda crazy but reading the book is effortless. It flows perfectly and was just briliiant. This duos words is just excellent and will make you drawn into it.

5.) The story - Oh yes!!! Now, it's another story. You have to read it youself. There's no way in hell I'm gonna spoil you Reed and Lola's journey and ruin all the fun. ;)

Seriously, the book really is all sorts of good and again I will say this, I enjoyed everything I have with this book. The craziness is another level. It's not Billionaire Bad Boy level but another level you'll get to love. I adore the characters and I'm sure, you will too. Lola is a teenager inside a beautiful woman's body. Eccentric but an adorable one. My God I can't wait for you to meet her skates and Daisy. Everything with her is just hilarious and admirable. And then there's Reed that never cease to amaze me. Whe you want fun and spontainity, call the man. The way he messed with people in the hilarious way is jus so fun and I've been loling like hell. When you want someone to spend Friday nights baby sitting with your niece and nephews, he will not disapppoint either. Anmnnnd if you're looking for someone who will give you all the orgasms you want, REED is the name. His and Lola's relationship is one of a kind. I enjoyed their journey of witty banter and scorching scenes. Their's is just another level of craziness but what I love most about it is the fact that is has depth too. Their story is just a proof of how thin the link between hate and love.

As Lola puts it,
Somewhere along the way, hate had morphed into dislike and then reincarnated itself into lust, and then, like had blossomed. I liked Reed. Probably too much. But I couldn’t help it. That intriguing bastard was too much fun. Infuriating bullshit columns aside, I couldn’t not like him.

To sum up, I highly recommend this book to all those who wanted a light hearted read packed with sense, humor, great and witty banter, scorching scenes and swoony moments. Because if you want another sets of crazy, dig into this book and have a fun ride with Lola and Reed.
Reed This: It’s never too late to have a launch party for life. Get living. Get loving. And don’t ever stop.

4.5 I hate him, I hate him, Stars!
Lola Sexton is a ball of colorful teenage quirk tucked not so neatly into the body of a thirty-two year old woman. She writes a dating/sex/relationship advice column for a local paper, and even though she had a late start in the department she feels pretty well versed on the subjects. That is until one gorgeous jerk face decides to make a video disagreeing with her that turns into an internet hit!

Reed Luca does what he wants to do. He keeps his life simple, but fun and that's how he likes it. Until he meets Lola. She's intriguing, quirky, different, and she owns every bit of it. He's never felt this way before about anyone let alone a woman. The big problem is that Lola hates him. Like hate, hate. I wonder how this will play out?

I'd consider Sex Says to be a slow burn enemies to frenemies to friends to lovers romance. Yes I realize that's a mouthful, but this book is a mouthful. It's a fun and intriguing ride we take with these two characters. I honestly really enjoyed Lola, she was so fun to read. Reed was the one that kept thing hot, tense, and even made things frustrating at times. I wish I could say that these two were simple, but they were anything but. The angst is pretty low, but they do run into a few speed bumps.

If there is one thing that Max Monroe does well it is banter. The banter between these two characters and even between the other relationships in the book was absolutely amazing. Not only was it funny, it was engaging, and felt like actual real natural conversation. The naughty bits were hot and steamy, and the love story was slow burn, but beyond believable. I actually really like these two together and their non-conventional relationship.

If you're looking for an extremely well written enemies to lovers, that's also slow burn and has a bit of humor then you've found it right here with Sex Says by Max Monroe!

5 hilarious Unicorns!

description

“He might look like God’s gift to women, but he’s not. He’s a total prick.”
I'm sold =)

It's official, Max Monroe is the queen of rom-coms.

So if you decide to read this book - and I hope you do- prepare yourself for a laugh out loud journey with Sex Says and Reed this banter.

Lola Sexton is a dating advisor columnist. And though she sucks at dating, her interesting columns are read, loved an cherished by the majority of the female community.

With a writer block and the pressure of a deadline, Lola came up with a last minute column which seemed to piss off a certain Reed Luca and made him post a video on YouTube ridiculing her words and making fun of her.

“My new friend Lola?
Not only was Reed Luca an asshole, he was seriously deranged. We were about as far away from the term friends as two people could get. I legitimately hated him.”

And that's how the war began...

“I was attracted to this asshole like a fucking magnet. My body wanted to blast off into orbit and rotate around his gravitational pull.
But I hated him.
And I’d keep on hating him, no matter how strong his appeal.”

Accepting a job as a columnist to oppose Lola's articles was Reed's way of seeing more of her but who would say no to some fun, especially if it includes an irritated, angry sweet columnist..

“Reed Luca—the fucker—had officially gotten inside of my head.
He’d mindfucked me, and it wasn’t good ole missionary. This was dirty, ass play, doggy-style kind of mindfucking.”

I'm a huge fun of Max Monroe. Since reading Tapping the Billionaire, I was totally hooked to her books.

Max Monroe is an author who knows how to get you into a story and make you enjoy every bit of it and end up with a huge grin on your face.

Reading Sex Says was a blast.

Lola is cute & quirky and writes a column called Sex Says where she gives dating advice to women in the San Francisco area. Reed is a 31-year old nomad who doesn’t stick to a traditional lifestyle, including a 9-5 job. When he reads Lola’s article, he’s inclined to make a rebuttal, and it’s so popular that a rivaling newspaper creates a column specifically for his rebuttals called Reed This. Lola can’t believe someone would base all their articles around how hers are wrong and without even meeting Reed, she hates him. But when they meet in person, it’s harder than Lola could’ve thought to not like Reed because, well, he’s so stinking likable. Reed is wildly attracted to Lola, but that doesn’t mean he believes in anything within her articles. Except when they both fall head over heels for one another, they realize that maybe neither of them were right all along & love is what finally ends their feud.

Sex Says by Max Monroe is a rom-com centered around two very eccentric characters. I love romances about columnists so the premise of this caught my eye. I think Reed & Lola were a bit too quirky for my taste but their romance was cute. I enjoyed all the newspaper articles that were included sporadically in the chapters. I do wish the enemies aspect lasted a little longer and had a bit higher stakes. Their conflict was a lot tamer than I was expecting, but their resolution was cute and uniquely them. I do appreciate that their HEA didn’t follow the typical trajectory, as they weren’t the typical hero & heroine. So the ending definitely suited them. A cute rom-com but not my favorite by this author duo. 3.5/5 stars.

If anyone asks me what my favorite trope is, without a doubt, it is Enemies to Lovers. There is something about the snappy back and forth banter, fiery chemistry and opposites attract mentality that gets to me. It is absolutely my favorite thing in the world and I can't get enough. Max Monroe's Sex Says checked ALL the boxes for me. Sassy (smartass) heroine, HOT AF (even more of a smartass) hero, snappy and sarcastic back and forth banter and equally steamy chemistry. There wasn't EVER a time where I wasn't smiling or so completely consumed by Lola and Reed. The world literally was on pause for me because I could not inhale this book fast enough. Bravo to this dynamic duo of kickass ladies because they completely hit it out of the park with this book. I might also be foaming at the mouth for their next book.

Lola Sexton is San Francisco's leading sex columnist who tells it like it is and gives no effs about holding back her opinion or the truth. She is who she is and is proud of the fact that there is no one in the world like her. So what does she do when a James Dean lookalike suddenly asserts himself in a viral video gone wild and rebuts all her points and arguments? FIRE, folks. PURE EXPLOSIVE CHEMISTRY. Hello world, meet the hottest Man ever - Reed Luca! (YES. The HOTTEST. Have you seen the cover? anyone? anyone? Bueller?) He ties himself down to nothing and is proud of that fact - no relationships, friends or work. He is a free-spirit and a brilliant observer of human behavior who will readily assert himself and give his opinion without being asked. When he reads Lola's column he is moved to video a rebuttal that pretty much changes his world. He meets the woman that is his equal and together they realize they are far better together than apart. But what happens when Lola begins to expect more from the man who prefers to have no ties to the world- no expectations and priorities? Can she be his exception or is she better off cutting him loose?

I absolutely loved this novel. I swear Max Monroe totally blew me away and differentiated themselves once again from their peers by not only combining humor, sexy times and amazing leading characters, but they also stood out ( in my mind) by writing an intelligent and dense book filled with love, sass, sarcasm and snappy dialogue that, as a whole, had me glued to the pages. Bravo!! 4.5 stars ~Ratula

Sex Says Reed This . . .

I love an enemies to lovers story . . . especially one so full of fun, snarky, witty commentary like Sex Says. This was my first Max Monroe book and it certainly won't be my last.

Lola Sexton is just a quirky woman trying to find her place in the world. She’s got great friends, a loving, supportive family, and an amazing job as the dating relationship columnist for the San Francisco Times. She’s got it all . . . right?

Enter Reed Luca. In classic he said/she said form, Reed is the antithesis to Lola’s point of view. And Reed lets everyone know his views through a YouTube video seen by oh, fifteen or so million people. Reed’s considered Enemy #1 in Lola’s mind—how dare he mock her column?

But deep down, there’s more to Reed than Lola could ever imagine . . . sure, he’s drop dead gorgeous but there’s just something about him that draws Lola to him and Reed to Lola. There’s a very fine line between love and hate and they’re trying to figure out just which side they’ll fall.

I had so much fun with Reed and Lola. Lola and her quirky, nerdy “I really don’t give a damn” attitude—well, except when it came to Reed. And Reed. Man, he’s an enigma for much of the book. I loved the glimpses of his true self that came out as their relationship developed. I loved how it was a slow burn—especially due to Lola’s “hate to like you” prickliness. I loved their non-traditional relationship views and where things ended with their HEA and how they accepted each other—faults and all. #RelationshipGoals ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

This was my first Max Monroe book and let me tell you - I went into this expecting something light and fluffy and what I got was a smartly written, funny, sexy book with far more substance than I ever could have imagined.

I sometimes struggled to connect with Reed and Lola's love story. I connected to the story itself - but enemies to lovers is a tough trope for me and I while I appreciated their sparky banter, it sometimes felt like it wasn't really moving forward. It dragged sometimes for me while I waited for my heart to get attached and I'm not going to lie -- I enjoyed this story quite a bit, but I didn't feel the achey flutter in my heart until very late in the game.

However - once it did? It was completely lovely. In an odd turn of events (for me) I did feel connected to the conflict and I appreciated it for being authentic and emotional. I also loved how it resolved. I loved that Lola was strong and independent and not quick to roll over at the first apology. I did really love Lola and Reed as individuals - I loved their quirky personalities and approach to the world. I just didn't always feel their chemistry the way I wanted to.

In all? I loved this story. It's different. I mean, different than I expected but also different than any other story I've read lately. Like Reed and Lola, it's quirky and fun with an underlying depth of emotion that sort of snuck up on me and grabbed me by the feels. It's well worth the read for some of the finer laugh out loud moments alone - but also for that full hearted, satisfied feeling that you're left with after the last page is turned. ~ Shelly, 4 Stars

5 UNICORN CROWNS

Max Monroe continues to dole out romantic comedy gold with Sex Says! It is funny, romantic, and steamy, and this novel provides readers with endless entertainment while also shedding some serious light on the idea of embracing who you are, non-conformity, and living life to the fullest.

I completely and totally adore Luca and Lola. They are phenomenal characters in their own right, and are also fantastic together. Lola embraces who she is in regards to how she lives her life and her style, as she is fun and quirky and completely independent. Although she isn't open to Luca's perspective at first, she is willing to eventually play along and start to consider different points-of-view, which only lead to her character evolving for the better. She becomes more open, more aware of the realities of relationships, and more willing to live life without adhering to expectations of others. Luca is such a care-free, go with the flow, live life to the fullest type of man, and I love him for it. He takes experiences as they come, always willing to try new things, meet new people, really seeming to grab life by the horns, so to speak. He loosens Lola up with his antics and viewpoints on life, but he is also changed by her. She makes him take a look at living life without any expectations, and consider whether or not he needs to alter his views. Both of them are unique and refreshing characters, and I love how they are open about seemingly everything. They seem to fully fit each other in every single capacity.

The chemistry between these two is off the charts in every single way. From the sparring to the friendship to the actual relationship, these two characters are electric. Even when they banter, the the emotional and physical chemistry is combustible, and when they do eventually connect physically, it sets fire to the room, figuratively speaking of course. I love watching them together no matter what this couple is doing, and watching them evolve and change and find their way to each other is everything a good romance should be.

Max Monroe also delivers a host of lovable secondary characters that had my laughing out loud. So many wonderful and comedic moments, which is where these authors shine. I love every single moment and experience with them, and they brought so much out in the main characters, while also serving to advance the plot when needed. Even though, secondary characters are often plot tools for the authors, Max Monroe makes them more, and these characters are everything.

What I seem to love most, though, about Max Monroe's books, minus the crazy and lovable characters, is their underlying themes that are woven in with the often crazy and outlandish humor. Sex Says in particular contains one of my favorites, which is experience everything life has to offer. These characters don't fit into boxes, and they live their lives for themselves and eventually each other. They are open to new experiences and new people, and Luca and Lola seem to vibrate with life and are more open-minded as a result of their willingness to experience every facet of life. After reading this book, I feel inspired to take on every experience life has to offer, to be open to meeting and getting to know new people that are different from me, and really just to take all that life has to offer while I can. This is what the relationship of Lola and Reed has shown me, and it is a message that should be read and embraced by all.

This story is completely and utterly fantastic! I don't know how else to say it other than you need to have this book! You need to read this book! You need to REED THIS and listen to everything SEX SAYS because it is simply divine. Max Monroe absolutely has another hit on their hands, and it doesn't seem that this will ever change!

This book has been on my TBR list since 2017 for what ever reason I just never picked it up but while scrolling through Audible Escape I saw who the narrators are and I love both so I thought lets give this one a chance.

I am glad I did even if I wasn’t a fan of our hero. Liar’s even well intended/white lies turn me off. I just can’t wrap my head around why someone would do it and do it as much as Reed does.

Lola really was the star for me her whimsical ways intrigued me maybe because I am more like her sister character. The fact that Lola just goes with the flow and does what she needs or wants to. I just really liked that she has her opinions and that is that. If you don’t agree ok but she is still right. Lol

Over all the book was fun and interesting and kept me interested even if I didn’t like Reed until the end. ;)

Again the narration was awesome and made these character leap from the pages.

Sex Says by Max Monroe is an enemies to lovers book filled with some comedy, a lot of witty banter between the two main characters.

Lola Sexton comes head to head with her “enemy” Reed Luca. Lola is an eccentric individual, never one to conform to the rest of society. She lives life through her own terms and writes an dating and relationship advice column. Reed Luca is similar in the fact that he too lives life on his own terms. They each are independent, stubborn, strong willed and what ensues is a battle of wits, minds.

I had difficulty getting into this book to be honest, something about the story just wasn’t gripping me and it took awhile for me to get invested in the storyline. I think for me it was Lola’s character that I couldn’t relate to, I found her quirkiness a bit too much. I will say that some of the banter between Lola and Reed was extremely entertaining. Reed so easily ruffled her feathers and those moments got quite a few chuckles out of me.

I will say that I did love Reed, he was smart, witty, and sweet. Both Reed and Lola’s families were also quite funny and had some hilarious moments. I liked when the two finally got together and even still did their verbal sparring back and forth. Their relationship become solid and complimentary and I think they needed each other, like they were meant to be. I did feel that there were some scenes in this book that weren’t necessary and perhaps took away a bit from the storyline for me. Particularly their one friend Simone, I didn’t see the point of her in this story to be honest and it didn’t feel as though she added any value.

This was an enjoyable read for me. Had I not had so much trouble getting invested into the two characters and their story, I would have probably enjoyed it more. I just had nothing stirring up any feelings for me until I was almost halfway through the book.

I LOVED this one. Loooved!

Love/hate relationships is my kryptonite. And these authors wrote this story exactly how I like it done. I fell in love with these characters and their quirkiness. The sexual tension was INTENSE and ADDICTIVE. This book definitely tops my 2017 favorite books list - it's so well done and refreshing and sexy and hilarious! Gah, I loved it - have I mentioned that?

After the Billionaire Bad Boys Series, I was totally looking forward to enjoying the latest from Max Monroe. But I find myself totally disappointed with this book. I didn't even finish it.

1) Some of the conversations, thoughts, columns and scenes are so freaking wordy. But it's more than that. The way some of the book is written is just not easy to understand --- which made it a turn off because light banter and fun topics should not read like a philosophy or law text book, imo.

2) Reed is not my kind of guy. I don't get the appeal of a H who seems to lie so easily. Plus, his background is sketchy at best. I mean, how does he support himself? He's not a billionaire but he's not a criminal either? A bum? A serial temp?

3) This could've been fun; but instead there doesn't seem to be much of a story. I stopped reading because I felt like I was just wasting time.

Deleting this from my Kindle and hoping that the next Max Monroe is more to my taste than this one.

Some parts made me snort loudly and i had a good time with some parts of the book. But mostly i was a little bored and i didn't agree with some of the things so i wasn't into it.
They were interesting ideas but some of them bothered me too.
And that's what i felt of this book in a nutshell : the idea was good but i didn't get into it.
Still i like these authors style and i'll definitely read the next book, but i guess i'll be cautious.

Max Monroe have come back with hot, Oh so interesting story. They are back ladies and back with a bang. Love their writing and their ability to give us different on such an amazing level.

This is gonna be short review cos I really don't wanna Jabba away and Give too much away.

Dude from start to finish you wonder WTF then you be like "Oh No He Didnt". Lola and Reed are really so opposite. He is a jackass really and Lola is Sassy and funny and abit of a Drama queen.

She writes a column called Sex Says. She gives really her own opinion and thoughts about all things from dating to sex. Some of it I won't agree with and some she hit dead on the head.

Enter Reed who really wants to be different and live life his way, his rules. At first you really don't get a feel of him. You don't know what to think of him. He gets an Adrenaline Rush messing with ppl in a good way at times...

Until he reads something Lola writes. It really does Erk him and he can't understand why, but still goes ahead and makes an arse of himself and a bad impression by calling her out. He does this publicly.... Stupid Man really.

And the rest as they say is History LOL. So damn entertaining watching these two clowns. Their banter and Dialogue was the Absolute Bomb. Their Chemistry if the charts.
Seriously their banter was hilarious. From the angsty Guessing bits to the Hilarious Lines and Steamy Sexy time all of this was Absolutely Brilliant.

This book should be bought instantly and read. It's Fan-Fucking-tastic book that we have never seen before. Grab it now and enjoy. Try not to Pee your Pants.
Happy reading!!!!!

Reed Luca....holy balls! I think most women, who read this book, will agree with me when I say that we want our very own Reed! Laid back, quick-witted, hilarious, and drop dead sexy, Reed is his own breed of male. Reed's character completely saved this book, in my eyes. Without him, I don't think I would've been able to finish. Which is a complete shock to me, because I absolutely LOVED Max Monroe's previous books.

I found that it took me a lot longer to really get interested in the story, as I realized that Lola was a very big contradiction. Over half the time, what came out of her mouth wasn't even how she truly felt. She couldn't be completely honest with herself, let alone anyone else, when she dealing with her issues and what she really thought. And isn't that what her column was supposed to be about? Her TRUE opinions on dating and relationships.

And even though I stated Reed saved the story for me, he had his own flaw that didn't sit well with me. As open and honest he was in his own columns, he couldn't be completely honest with Lola about his real feelings. But I guess it was easier to overlook that flaw in him, since it was obviously stated in the book how much of a pathological liar he was.

Overall, I just wasn't WOW'ed by the story. It had a lot a potential, and I was genuinely excited to read it. I could very well be in the minority of people who weren't completely blown away with this book, but it will not deter me from reading anything else from Max Monroe. It will actually make me want to read more. One sour apple won't ruin the entire sweetness that is Max Monroe's books.

Sighhhhh...ok. I wanted to love this book but it just wasn't there for me. I found that it was taking me a really long time to get into it, I was at 60% and still struggling to get through it. Now don't get me wrong Sex Says wasn't terrible in any way..I laughed a lot but something about this story wasn't connecting.
Reed and Lola were the funniest and weirdest people..he followed no rules, lived his life the he wanted to. Lola was quirky, adorable and funny but at times I was like ..wow you guys are in your thirties lol time to get it together!!! I really wish I could pinpoint what the disconnect was for me but it just wasn't working for me.
