The two sassy friends and Queens of smut hit another home-run with this second installment in the For You series featuring Pandora Justice, Penelope’s twin sister we met in book one, and Royce Davenport.
Pandora’s the head of security at Osbourne Corp and she’s all about her stressful job and does not have time for relationships. That is until she meets her new hotshot consultant, Royce Davenport.
Pandora doesn’t like being bossed around by handsome outsiders and she knows how to keep Royce on his toes with her sassy mouth. She’s a strong-willed woman and a feisty kickass heroine. I liked how she challenged him and didn't just fall at his feet. Royce meets his match in Pandora. She’s a leader and most men are threatened by that, but not Royce. He handles her perfectly, while letting her be who she is. Royce is definitely a crazy possessive and obsessed hot alpha male when it comes to his woman, and the more she plays hard to get, the more he’s determined to claim her as HIS.
As per the usual Alexa Riley’s MO, this book is a good blend of steamy sex scenes, sweet romance and over-the-top sugary goodness. This story was ridiculously entertaining and it worked for me just fine. If you are in the mood for a quick short read with some mighty fine smutty smut that will satisfy your naughtiness and will leave a smile on your face, look no further.

Pandora has taken over for her father as head of security at Osbourne Corp. When Royce earns a contract with the company, the attraction is immediate. Pandora attempts to fight it as hard as she can, but you know what happens in an Alexa Riley book, right? OTT, possessive, alpha yumminess ensues!
What I enjoyed: This is the reason I read a AR books. They’re short, sexy, and so much fun – the perfect little pick me up to read between longer and heavier novels. Royce is unexpected. He’s a buttoned-up suit by day and something so much more rugged at night. What a shocker! I didn’t see it coming.
What I did see coming was him claiming Pandora in true caveman fashion and locking her down tight so everyone would know.

I'm going to keep this short. I was disappointed. I liked the previous book in this series a hundred times better. This book was extremely lacking and i didn't like Pandora. 2 star rating.

The queens are at it again! Sexy persistent hero meets tough strong heroine. Who will give in first?
Royce - tough, sexy and patient. Alpha male to the max. He knew the moment he saw Pandora, that she was his other half. He was definitely more than I anticipated at first.
Pandora- It's no secret that I don't particularly care for an alpha heroine. However, Alexa Riley made it work for me. She paired her with a hero who was more alpha and confident. She didn't intimidate him, she complimented him. I did feel that while she was tough , a lot was bluster to protect her heart. Once she gave in, she went full throttle!

-good epilogues several years out

Audiobook review. This was a quick listen at a little over 2 hours. I found it to be ok. Nothing really moved, surprised, or delighted me so it is firmly in the middle of the rating ground. I liked that Pandora was a strong heroine. Royce wasn’t as possessive as other AR heroes, which wasn’t a bad contrast. Their intimacy was ok. They didn’t really have a lot of page space within which to do any significant development but most AR readers, myself included, don’t really read these stories with that in mind. The plot was pretty forgettable to be frank. The narrators did a good job with strong pacing, tone, and inflections. They were a good fit for the characters.

What a great read to ease my Monday blues, I jumped for joy when this puppy landed in my Kindle.
Another great addition to this series. The Osbourne Corporation story-line is becoming one of my favourites by AR. After reading Penelope's story I was very eager to see what unfolded for Pandora.
Pandora is not like her twin Penelope, she is very career oriented and not as much of a romantic. At 28 years old she is strong, determined and very focused on her job at Osbourne Corp... until Royce Davenport enters the picture. Royce knew after one handshake that Pan was for him. He was super sexy and determined, he fought for her but at the same time knew when to let her come to him. The scenes with these two were absolutely explosive, I loved the chemistry between them.
A short and hot read! I am super stoked for Henry :)

I'm thinking this is more of a "me not the book" kind of deal. As far as the previous AR books I've read, my experience has been up and down. I knew what to expect going in but unfortunately I was still a little disappointed with Hold Tight.
This felt incredibly short and the story itself fell a little flat for me because of it. When you read an AR book, you know you're going to get a possessive alpha male who falls in love at first sight with a virgin who doesn't know how beautiful she is, at least that's been my experience. I definitely got that here, but it felt like that's all I got and I felt the absence of a stronger story.

These ladies really know how to give us the best of insta-love goodness in all its variations and leaves us hot and bothered in the best of ways!
Pandora was so like her mom Paige, making Royce (I refuse calling him his nickname, because it was the only thing I disliked in the book, lol) work for her. Not that he minded because from the very first sight he knew what he wanted and that it wouldn’t be an easy task, Pandora was one tough cookie, and he would be only satisfied when he cracked that steel armor around her heart and got ALL of her!
As usual with AR, I loved the couple, and loved just as much to see Paige and the Captain, as well as Penelope and his Russian (major swoon), and now I’m dying for Henry’s story! Really, counting down the days! I bet it will be just as epic as his dad!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Ahhh, I got my AR fill. In my eyes AR can do nothing wrong with the stories and heroes, they are simply a wish come true. I finally got my dose of OTT alpha hero and a sweet yet quick read that made me feel giddy with joy. I liked how this story didn't have that insta love thing or at least the heroine didn't give into the relationship right away. I liked the chase and how she was her own woman first and foremost. Of course she eventually gives in and the scenes that follow are so hot. Loved it. Also, the hero is simply perfect and I wish they would make them in real life. Besides that I enjoyed to see the characters from the previous book and how their relationship evolved and that their love was stronger than ever. I wonder if we'll get to see another couple in this series, that would be awesome. As always, I adore AR books and this one was no different.

I loved Penelope and Royce's story it is a quick and sweet read. I really enjoyed this second book in the For You series more than the first book. There is insta-love, alpha male and a lot of passion between the couple and I loved every minute of this book! Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Pandora Justice takes pride that’s she’s tough and good at her job, as head of Osborne Security she must be, but that hasn’t left much time for a personal life. That’s okay, because unlike her twin sister, she hasn’t found anyone that sparks an interest. That is until her cousin hires Royce to help streamline their department. He’s handsome, cocky, and annoying, or so she keeps telling herself. Pandora can’t stop thinking, dreaming and lusting after him, but with little experience with the opposite sex she’s a little hesitant to get involved. There’s a bit of cat-and-mouse here, a fun sexy chase! More fun when Pandora allows herself to be caught, though!
Royce has been takes one look at Pandora and knows he has to have her. He feels the heat between them so even though she keeps pushing him away, he’s determined to claim her. Yes, claim , lol. This is a complete alpha-hero here, but it’s fun, fantasy fiction so I’m totally okay with that! Royce and Pandora are completely unable to resist the powerful pull between them and steam up the pages all the way to a HEA!
You can always count on a smoking hot, good time when picking up Alexa Riley’s romances, and Hold Tight lives up to their reputation. Novellas are always a fast-favorite way to satisfy my romance addiction! You might say that I do enjoy a hot quickie, lol! Now I need to go back and read the first book in the series, Penelope (Pandora’s twin sister) and Ivan’s romance in Stay Close, because they are super cute together as side characters!

I liked the first one better. I didn't really feel the connection between these two characters. It is short so it is hard to really have character development because of the limited time.

Another awesome quickie by the dynamic writing duo Alexa Riley!
Pandora has been skirting around Royce since he first made his intentions obvious. She is certainly attracted to him but holds herself back from taking the next step. There is something about him that just doesn’t add up. When the truth is revealed, Royce’s inner beast surfaces and he makes his move. Too much, too fast? Possibly.
As all AR books, this is a fast paced, quick read filled with instant lust, instant love and an over the top jealously protective hero. The steam factor is off the charts even if it doesn’t present itself until about half way through the story. And as always, the epilogue is enough to add an additional star rating because it made me swoon, smile and sigh.

HOLD TIGHT is the second installment in Alexa Riley’s FOR YOU series and it can be read as a standalone. This quick and sexy read introduces us to Pandora and Royce, and even thought it was DEFINITELY love/lust at first site for Royce, it took a while for Pandora to jump on board. She is as independent as you can get, and she was NOT about to fall head over heels for the hotshot consultant who pushes her every single button.

I did not finish this because Pandora is a chip off the old block. She's just like her mother Paige and so her personality didn't gel with me. The problem is probably with me since I don't really like reading about tomboy heroines who want to be all tough and growly. I don't mind some tomboy heroines but not the ones like Pandora who kinda act like they want to be men. I don't mind the cute tomboy heroines who just have poor dress sense and are merely adventurous girls with an inner female just waiting to be born.
Yeah, maybe it's my own personal predilection for everything feminine, pretty and girly...
What can I say? I enjoy being a girly girl. I am sure that other readers will find this a 4 star read or more. It's all about personal preferences and I get way too picky about the types of characteristics I look for in a H and a heroine. So I would hope that readers do not let my personal superficial preferences turn them off this book.
The fact that Royce didn't exactly appear to be all that much of an alpha hottie made it easier to dnf this short story. Let's hope book 3 that deals with Henry will be better.

'Hold Tight' by Alexa Riley is book Two in the series "For You". This is the story of Pandora and Royce . I have read the previous book "Stay Close" but feel this is a standalone book.
Pandora is a hard working woman who is now the head of security of her fathers company. All Pandora seems to do is work and be serious. But when Royce who is a consultant starts working there too...she having a hard time with her feelings. Pandora has a hard time letting her feelings go but Royce isn't giving up. Royce wants Pandora and he will have her.

Alexa Riley's formula should be well-known by now: instalove, a hero who goes alpha the moment he sees his significant half, decides he wants her and does everything to claim her as his territory. Be prepared for over-dramatic moments interspersed with sex that can be scorching, though you might question the validity of the connection between the protagonists because of this.
'Hold Tight' is Pandora's book - something I've looked forward to for a while - but its sheer brevity (this tops out at a mere 64 pages) magnifies the faults I find with Riley's books. Had it been a longer, more drawn-out version, I think I would have liked and rated the story a lot higher with greater character depth and development. Still, Riley delivered a safe(ish) read, with a guaranteed HEA, so it could be a balm for readers discouraged and cynical about their romance reads.

Its been 10 years since the last book- Pandora is now 28 and heads her father's security firm.
Petite, strong and passionate about her work, this independent chika's world is shaken when she comes in touch with Royce, a UFC fighter, and attraction blooms.
This felt like a different type of an AR book. OTT sweet, cuddly and saccharine romance- make sure you have your insulin shots before reading this. Also has a candy glazed epilogue!
Nothing special, but a good one time read. Loved the cover more than the book tbh!

I received a galley of this novella and LOVED it. I've been dying to read Pandora's story and the AR duo did not disappoint!

An AR story always puts a smile on my face!
Hold Tight is the second installment in the 'For You' series, after reading Penelope's and Ivan's story, which I really liked, I couldn't wait to read the next one and so Pandora and Royce appeared and oh boy it was really enjoyable with very hot scenes and as always lovely characters with Rolly being the super possessive/caveman hero we love and need.
In addition, it has not one but two sweet epilogs and of course HEA. What's not to like?? Certainly, recommend it to everyone and I'm looking forward to their next lovely creation!!

I like this book more than the prequel. I knew without a doubt that I would love Pandora from the book #1. It's just too bad it's novella. So it's insta everything. And last but not least, damn, that cover though. This probably my favorite cover of all Alexa Riley's books.

Another great read. Loved it. They are all about each other and no one else. I love that there is no angst or drama. Perfect read.
