This books takes you 100-200 years back and lets you have a look at the life of the Ezhava community in kerala during that period.The author Dr.M.S Jayaprakash sheds light on the roles played by Ezhava community in socio economic fabric on the then travencore kingdom , the rigid lunatic caste structure that the community was oppressed under and the various mini/major revolutions that paved way for the progress of the community.The book also talk about the relation between various sub groups categorized under the Ezhava caste.
