I actually wish this book was longer and not a novella. The Unseen is a great quick read. I came across it as I was searching for books written by A.B. Bloom and now that I've read this one and discovered that many authors have contributed their own short stories to make up The Complex series, I will be looking at reading more.

This author never disappoints and she certainly didn't in this book. I loved the characters and it was interesting to learn how humans and Metas were living alongside each other. I want to discover more about Delly and Chase as I've grown fond of them and their story intrigued me. I'd definitely recommend this for you to read, and I hope the other books in the series are just as engaging.

A remarkable read!

A prophet in hiding...
A man in need of saving...
Will she risk exposure to save the human she falls in love with?

Such a touching read - absolutely enjoyed every word of this little love story. The risks, the attraction and the falling in love was all perfection and was written so beautifully. A story of finding your other half through a horrific way but doing very in your power to save him.

A journey of discovering, of finding love, of pain and of a future.

Full of Metas and humans, secrecy, anger, hurt, fear and love.

Perfect for readers of sci-fi and fantasy romance.

Great short story set in a world where humans and metas are coexisting as part of an experiment. Only they don't mix, until...

For a short story you get a good feel for the characters, and the world they live in. I was quickly drawn into this story, which has interest and tension. I was definitely left wanting more from this world, and I'm interested to see what the other authors taking part in this series have written.

The Unseen was the first book that offered us a peek into the lives of teenagers in the Complex and it was interesting (and also disturbing) to see all the animosity within school premises.
