I have read these books as individuals but a great chance to get them in a box set.
The first book - Wolf Snatched was a well written start to a wonderful series by Marissa Farrar. It draws you in from the beginning, I loved the characters and was so excited to hear that it is part of a series.
Book Two - Wolf Torn a lovely second book in this shifter series. Once agin you can't put down once started. Love the way the story is going and how the characters are growing.
Book Three - Wolf Betrayed was a lovely short read I really enjoyed it. I loved that this book was about a low in rank wolf not your normal hero type, just a normal everyday guy and a normal everyday girl, who happened to be his mate. Loved it... I highly recommend Marissa Farrar to everyone.

Three fantastic books in one for a truly enjoyable long read. All three books can be read as stand alone, but characters intermingle giving a greater sense of depth and personality to them.
Each story centres on a couple who face an array of obstacles to achieve the desired outcome. They must deal with oppression through situations such as long standing culture, one man’s belief in he is ‘God’ and discrimination. These are not books which deal with the enlightened society we come to expect in shifter packs, but with the slightly darker side of absolute hierarchy and perceived gender roles.
Melissa balances the story lines extremely well so the books are not dark but focus on how love can conquer any and all situation; even if it isn’t the path you thought you would take and are now going in a different direction. Very much a simile to real life.
All three books are riveting with twists and turns and unexpected surprises. As they are novella length there is only so much explanation the author can give, so there were a couple of areas I wanted more information for and some I would have liked a bit more detail, but that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the series.
I would recommend this series to any shifter lovers, especially those like to be able to relate to the stories they read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this series.

>Book review – The Dark Ridge Wolves Box Set

>I am an independent reviewer. This box set contains Wolf Snatched, Wolf Torn and Wolf Betrayed. Each book ends in an HEA for the couple. The 3 books in this box set are novella length. This whole box set is the length of one decent novel. As a result of the 3 short books, the stories seemed choppy. There was no time to really develop the characters. The human town is aware of the shape shifting wolves, but any history between humans and wolves is glossed over.

>The plot of all 3 books deals with the pull of the true mate. An outsider knows his mate is in the Dark Ridge pack, so he kidnaps her until she submits. Brothers fight over who is the true mate to the Alpha’s niece. A pack member is bullied and finds his true mate is a human. The stories needed much more development, but what was presented was very good, just incomplete. There seemed to be more sex scenes than story in some cases.

>This box set is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the set 3 stars. I liked the stories, but they seemed incomplete.

This was a very entertaining set of stories! I actually read this quite a while ago, no idea why the review wasn't posted, oh well, it's on here now! These are shorter stories, but the magic in them is the fact that they manage to convey an enormous amount of information, atmosphere, and character despite their brevity. As with all of Marissa Farrar's work she has managed to create an entire world to immerse yourself into, that seems as if you had been a part of the entire time. These are well written little gems that are a perfect way to spend an afternoon!

This was a new author to me so I decided to take a chance. I liked these stories.

There was many aspects of the books I liked. The characters were enjoyable, the plot was suspenseful and the sexy times were hot.

The part I had a little hard time with was the main paranormal characters not knowing the other was their mate. In all the paranormal books I read, they just know. They might not accept it but they know. This author changed it up a little and made one of the characters have to "realize" that this was their mate. I found that a little frustrating.

What a great collection of stories

These three stories are based on the pack living in Dark Ridge. Each story links to the previous one but concentrates on a different couple of characters. But this is not a formulaic set of stories. Each story brings out the characteristics of the couple involved. As I read each one, I thought it was the best until the next one!!

Shifters romance (steamy) , and drama galore to find their fated mates.

Alyssa, Holton, and Chance all find their mates but each has a major obstacle to find their happily ever after. The characters are well written and developed. I was drawn in quickly and couldn't wait to see where their journey lead them. I highly recommend this box set.

This is a good set of shorter stories that build upon one another. They feature characters from the Dark Ridge shifter community. The romances feature some real threats and danger and will keep you guessing. While they are shorter in length, the author does develop the characters and relationships. I recommend it if you enjoy paranormal romances.

An enjoyable and engaging boxset.

I chose this three book boxset because I enjoy reading stories about shifters. The characters were very well developed and each story has a HEA. They were all engaging with just the right amount of drama, actions and of course! some steamy shifter sex. All three books are nicely narrated so listen was easy.

I received a free audio copy.

Horrible.

Man kidnaps girl. Tells her its because they are meant to be. He is doing this for her. And she gives into him in like...a few hours. This is a horrid story of trying to make kidnapping, rape and Stockholm's syndrome a love story. Hard pass on this crud.

3 stories based on the Dark Ridge wolves. I really enjoyed reading these. The characters are all so different but they go together so well. The chemistry is to die for!

Good

The first book was mostly sex and very little story. The second and third books were much better and actually had a story to follow.
