This is relatable, and highlights what second grade is all about. there are even dance breaks! my students loved this book. its great because it gives life lessons, but also is silly and laid back. I like the ease and pacing of this book.
My son got this at the end of first grade to know how second grade might be. And now we're almost halfway through second grade and he keeps asking to read it. It's written in cute poems for each type of event that happens in second grade.
This is a super cute little book of poetry. It's going to be perfect for the first few days of school when teachers are trying to build a new community.
This is such a creative book with a variety of funny poems that highlights what it's like in 2nd grade. It's a fun engaging book to get children excited for the school year and everything they will experience throughout the year and highlights what they have done going into a new grade. There is also a series of books for a bunch of different grades! I would include this in my classroom library and also use it as a read aloud
