WELCOME TO STARLIGHT: A sweet and sexy small-town romance series set at a family-owned pub in the picturesque snowmobiling town of Snowy Ridge, Wisconsin.

The weather may be cold outside, but things are sizzling indoors.

Luci Foster knows she has to make amends with a lot of people, starting with her family whom she hadn’t spoken to since she’d moved to New York City over six years ago, to become a writer. She had long run out of money and friends willing to let her crash on their couches for a night while she waited for her big break, and at twenty-six years old, found herself back home in Snowy Ridge, Wisconsin, living with her Mom and working with her sisters, Wynn and Jessie, again. Luci had always been told she was like a tornado: came in fast and left destruction in her wake. It might have worked for her when she was younger but it wasn’t what she wanted for herself anymore and she was determined to make a change.

Evan Monroe has struggled since graduating from college three years earlier. He’d moved from one awful job to the next and thought he was destined to live in his parents’ basement forever and work at the local Starbucks until his dad urged him to move to Snowy Ridge and work for his Aunt Bets as a realtor. Coupled with just coming out of a long-term relationship with his college sweetheart, the opportunity to get away and figure things out seemed too good to pass up. Evan didn’t know what he wanted from life but in his heart, he knew real estate wasn’t it for him. There was a goal set in front of him somewhere in the distance; he just couldn’t make out what it was yet.

After a disastrous initial meeting months earlier, Luci and Evan aren’t thrilled to reconnect at first. But with time, friendship, and increasing desires, that’s all about to change.

Neither Luci or Evan knows exactly what they’re looking for; but, they both may find exactly what they need has been in front of them the whole time.

I won't lie. I was real nervous going into Finding Me. Luci and I have NOT gotten along during the series so far so I was fully prepared to have a bitch fest all over her but...she pulled it off!

The Gist: Luci done screwed up. She tried to sell her sister's pub...without permission and the realtor? Well he's kinda pissed since she wasted all his time for nothing. It kinda grates that he keeps running into her all over town. But dammit he's intrigued, too. And suddenly finds himself all wrapped up in one of her schemes.

Luci. Like I said. I was nervous. She's not a personality type I like. Jumps into things without thinking about the consequences, she's flighty and inconsiderate. It took me a while to get on board with her. But she had a bit of a come to Jesus moment and grew up a little and started getting her act together which I can respect. Evan was easy to like, though. He's still trying to figure out what he wants in life but he's a good guy, sexy, and a reader. *swoon*

Their romance worked out. I enjoyed them spending together as he helped her with the book she was writing and they bonded over trying to find her mom a hot date. There were some cute moments and a little bit of steam, too. Finding Me wound up being nice read overall.

This is another delightful visit to Snowy Ridge. Luci is a struggling writer, Evan is a Real Estate agent working for his Aunt Bets. He would rather be anyplace but Snowy Ridge. Evan does not like Luci at all because of an earlier failed real estate deal and it takes a lot of getting to know each other to work through their misunderstandings. As they get to know each other they realize there is a definite attraction between them. While this is the 3rd book in this series it can be read as a stand alone novel.
I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review..

This is the sister that seems the most familiar to me the one who is always messing up and never feels like she can be good enough or measure up to her siblings, sometimes it just sucks to be the middle child. While Luci is finally finding her place and her voice as well she still has some inner battles to face. Great story I love how she settles into herself finally and how she finds someone who is just for her.

Still loving this debut series for this author. I have one more book to read but have not been disappointed by the style and characters from this author.

Wow! One of the sweetest romances I've read in a long time. Ms. Jett writes an excellent story and this series is no exception. The characters and plot are realistic and believable. I enjoyed this book so much I couldn't put it down until I read the happily ever after. I received a free copy of this book and happily and voluntarily choose to leave a review.

The story grabs hold of you and won’t let go.

Luci feels like she’s an eternal screw-up, like she has failed in life, at her job, at love. She’s trying to change and become a better person. I wasn’t sure about her at first, she didn’t seem all that likeable to start with, but as I got to know her better she grew on me. She is writing a novel and desperately wants to get it published. I think this one is very close to home for the author!

Evan grew on me too. I didn’t know what to think of him in the beginning, but he turned out to be one of the good guys. He’s drifting, no clue as to ‘where to go from here’. He is an avid reader and he loves reading romance. This seems a bit unlikely for such a hot guy (seriously, how many guys you know love reading romance?) but hey, I’ll go with it. He met Luci a few months ago and didn’t like her at all…

There is some steaminess, but to be honest: it was a bit quick. Never mind that: it’s a feel-good story that grabs hold of you and won’t let go! It made me want to read Luci’s book too! :) ;)

Ms. Jett has become one of my favorite authors.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

Finding Me by Kris Jett is the second book in the Love at Starlight series that I have read. Once again Kris wrote a book that I didn’t want to put down. You could read this as a standalone because there is enough back stories to know what had happened. I would have liked have a little more detail about the scene at the bar when Lucy tried to put it up for sale with Evan. Other than that the story line is good and the characters are developed. At first you aren’t sure if you want to like Luci, but she is trying to be a better person and do the right thing. And I wasn’t sure how to take Evan at first; he doesn’t want to be around Luci but then he is in her face and doesn’t know how to act. I will most definitely be reading more books by Kris Jett and can't wait for the next in this series. I did receive and ARC but voluntarily read and gave my honest and fair review.

This is the third book I have read in this series. I have enjoyed each of them. This one focuses on the third Foster sister Luci, who is a struggling writer trying to find herself. She has moved back to her hometown from New York City. She also helps at their family's pub. She used to be a real party girl but she had decided to change her ways. She wants to find love like her sisters. Even her mom is back on the dating scene. This book will make you laugh especially when the realtor, Evan enters the scene. He is helping her edit her current manuscript. They are both sending mixed signals to each other. They can't seem to see what everyone else can see. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

More Than Friends?

I’m so glad I took a chance on this book! Luci was not one of my favorite characters in the books leading up to this. I found her to be self absorbed, flashy and irritating at first. Evan appeared in book one and then nothing, crickets! However, I loved this book! Luci did some definite maturing, finally taking into account others feeling. Evan was a sweetheart, kind of lost and floating around after college. Now, maybe he has a reason to stay in the slow moving town of Snowy Ridge, WI. Another plus, we got to revisit a few characters from each book, which always makes me happy!

Finding Me (Snowy Ridge: Love at Starlight, Book 3) by Kris Jett
This is Luci Foster and Evan Monroe's story.

Luci longs to be writer and goes to the coffee shop to write her romance novel. Evan works and lives with his aunt. Both Luci and Evan are trying to find their place in life. Evan and Luci are attracted to each but are afraid to let each other know.

This is a sweet, sensual, and fun romance. I enjoyed Luci and Evans story.

Love love

This book is sweet because Luci ends up being this lady who changes so much just in a short period of time. Evan did seem to hate Luci at first and it makes sense he was embarrassed by what happened when Luci tried to sell starlight without speaking to her siblings. But the ending is perfect for them. Luci feels like she’s stolen someone else’s man and Evan just doesn’t want to see Luci hurt but love is so strong that sometimes it happens even when you think it doesn’t make sense. These are quick reads but great series thus far!

This is such a wonderful series and I hope that it doesn't end here. Luci is the last of the sisters to find love and the story is both poignant and at times hilarious. Luci was always the wild child but is trying so hard to reform. It is a touching romance and a story of friendship and love. You do not need to have read the other two books but it will make it a better read if you have.

Just friends, so they say

Luci and Evan got off to a bad start. She got his back up when she came back to town and tried to sell Starlight. Good intentions aside, her family was enraged. He didn't get his first sale in town and has never forgotten or forgiven. She feigns forgetfulness to save herself further embarrassment. Slowly they build a friendship, slipping gracefully to true love. A sweet story and great read. Editing could have been much better though.

Like book 2, I just wanted to see if the author could develop the love interest. I skimmed most of the book, but anytime there was a meaningful point where the characters were talking and things about the relationship could have been made much clearer, the author decides to end the chapter and moves on to a different day.

Good read

It's a good story and well written about a writer who returns home to help with her mother. It's a small town and not very much happening. She and her sisters are trying to protect their mother who wants to get out of the house. Then she meets a real estate agent who she falls in love with.

Good but predictable

While this book is good, it is pretty predictable. I am enjoying this series. With the exception of the first book these are light hearted and pleasant. The first book was still good but it contains more drama which is necessary for the foundation of this series.

Growing Up

Really nice to see Luci's character develop into so much more than we were first introduced. Not everyone can express their sorrow for colossal mess ups with severely felt humility. Making amends takes deep and determined character growth~
