Sometimes, love is just an illusion. Sometimes, it becomes the sole purpose of your life. While stories on social media were trending, Raghu was lost in books. For him, even the idea of falling in love was limited to books-until he met Ruhi. As their love plays out against the backdrop of the upcoming student elections, Raghu finds himself embroiled in a mess he cannot seem to get out of. When his closest friends hatch a plan to rescue him, it only puts him in further jeopardy. Will his love sail through or will it get swept away by the storm of campus politics? Rising to fame in the first authorial is a difficult task and maintaining that stature is harder than that, Sudeep Nagarkar has excelled in both. With more than a dozen books Sudeep travels with the same fame he does with his first.

Our Story Needs No Filter is another feather to his cape. Though most of his books are romantic ones, Sudeep tries a new set up every time. Our Story Needs No Filter is different from all his previous books in terms of the plot.

The novel revolves around the politics that dirties the college elections. The beauty of the novel is the way the author has handled love and friendship around the college politics. There are instances that relates to the reality of the present day college life, especially the way the elections divides the student community.

On the other hand, Jai supports ABCP which another student wing. In their quest to support their own wings Jai and Raghu have to cross each other's path. After crossing each other's path will they be friends forever or will they have to fight each other?
Meanwhile, Raghu and Ruhi start liking each other. Their love story starts smoothly but disrupted when Raghu join the KRANTI movement and support Krishna. They all get embroiled in the dirty politics of college. Will they come victorious from it or have to sacrifice their friendship and love for college politics.
I really liked the book which shows the dirty politics of college elections. I liked the Jai's character the most.

The plot of the story is totally different from the previous ones. It is really interesting to read; actual reality is put front. As the story is set in an socio-political background, it sparks up the whole story in different kind of way which is really good! Exploration of power, discrimination, hypocrisy of the powerful, friendship, love.. fully spot on! The story speaks about dark side of politics and student organisations, attitudes of people and it has been described very nicely! The book has cluster of emotions, love, friendship. It makes you travel along with the characters throughout this journey as it is gripping and heart touching story! Do read this book as it won't disappoint you at all! Thank you so much for writing such a strikingly beautiful story! No doubt I'm a big fan of your previous books but this particular novel definitely nailed it! You never fail me to amaze me with your variation in stories, the journey of reading becomes more beautiful! Creativity at its best!

It took about one week for me to finish reading this novel. It's not because the novel is uninteresting otherwise it's very appealing that make me want to enjoy the story longer. Not only that, the narrations that are being written by the author are just great. They sound simple, but have a deep meaning.

At first when I read this book, I thought it's just a simple love story and friendship among college students. Unfortunately, this novel got me wrong. This novel is beyond all those petty stories. There are complex problems that somehow makes me wonder how could college life got so complicated. I've never thought the caste system and discrimination would go so badly. Moreover, the conspiracy of people in power and all those black money racket open my mind towards all wrong doings.

Despite all bad things that is being picked up in this novel, the relationship of each character in this novel and how strong their character is would be one thing that I liked the most from this novel. The author has impressively succeeded to develop each character in the good way that does not seem rushed. In addition, the flow of the story in this novel is great and this novel has also a perfect plot twist that is put in the right time.

One of the most read contemporary authors, Sudeep Nagarkar, has captured hearts with his work of writings, and we won’t be surprised with another of his book dominating the best-selling fiction category. Our Story Needs No Filter is Sudeep’s ninth book, and I will be reviewing on how well this one has fared as compared to his other love stories.

The book talks of love and relationship been an illusion, it is just like the two sides of a coin, it becomes the sole purpose of your life. The story revolves around four people with different lives complications, and each with their difference of matters to handle. The plot of this book is a little different from his previous work; this one nailed the reality of political issues revolving around college campuses in India. Leading to the socio-political milieu, ‘Our Story Needs No Filter,’ will let you explore the dark side of relationships, the pursuit of power and the deception of powerful. And one thing is for sure. I.e., no matter, whatever happens, Love and the bond of Friendship will withstand the test of time and obstacles.

This story is about friendship in the college. True friendship always passes the test even if they are difficult. This book provides one such example. Raghu, Jai, Chris, Megha and Ruhi are best of best friends. Raghu a naive by nature who is happy with his paperback and a fruitful moment with Ruhi his love. This story is related to the elections that are held in the MGU. How the parties that take part in the elections, how unfair they are in winning the elections. Overall I would say a good Goodread... :)

It's not a book. It's a movie plot. And very much usual one. I didn't find any relevance in The name of the story and the actual story. Which is a must part for any book.
For movie lovers it's a one time read one. Takes hardly 2 hrs to complete. Because most of the part is too obvious.
Generally I never leave a book halfway even if it is too much to bear with.. so completed it. But I can't guarantee you that you will last that long.

such an amazing story of politics inside a university. It shows how a leader of a party tries his best to achieve their goal whether by doing wrong things or by applying good strategies.
"In the desperation of representing a particular caste or religion,we forget that we are humans first"
it's nothing but all about humanity. overall it was a good read.

I am not a person who is interested in politics and hence I thought I won't like this book. But what happened was the exact opposite and I loved it. It was something different from the author and I appreciate that whole heartedly. There were just few parts where I felt things didn't work for me and that's ok. I was so much into it that I finished it in one go and that's something great. I love how the author gave a beautiful message through the book that humanity is above all religions. A well thought and inspiring read. I recommend it to everyone.

Although the detailing was good but the story line is weak as per my perception. There was a lot of flash backs in the story and therefore you have to recall the phases whenever you restart reading it. The ending phase is interesting and will actually grab your attention.

If You like over dramatic Bollywood films
Then this book is perfect
Although plot was okay-ish in the sense that it is not your everyday love story and is something different as it brings out political drama and stuff
Still I think it could have been better
