Sabine Baptiste is a free spirit, content to live her life the way she wants, happily answering only to herself. She spends her days playing and singing with her band and her nights with whoever happens to catch her eye.
But after a girls' night out unexpectedly ends in the hottest hook-up of her life, she's scrambling to deal with the consequences to both her life and her heart.
Eric Levy wants nothing more than to find a partner to share his life with - preferably someone who doesn't already have one. His bad luck with the ladies is a source of endless amusement to his friends, and endless frustration to him.
When the sexiest woman he's ever met rescues him from a disastrous first date, he can't get her out of his head. For the first time in his life, Eric begins to believe that love is truly within his grasp. But Sabine is terrified to trust him - and more importantly, to trust herself.
In the battle between hope and fear, can Sabine and Eric join forces in order to prove that love prevails time after time?
This book was a gem. Eric, the swoon-worthy hero is the commitment for life type and Sabine is the free-spirited, commitment phobic heroine who fully embraces the love and leave 'em mantra.
This is my favorite book of the series so far, and is the best written with it's quirky phrases and the mesmerizing way Amelia strings her words together. It drew me in with the very first sentence and never let go! I feel like I may have enjoyed some parts a little more if I knew every song reference rather than just some of them, but that's not a make-or-break, just takes a few context clues (and in some cases, direct explanation which I appreciate) to know what the songs are about. I love the fact that I can read the whole book in one evening, but still get a nice, detailed, full story. Not to metion the way it made it smile, then cry, and smile again all the while! I can just picture a real-life, nerdy Eric Levy, gorgeously selfless and perfect in every way *licks lips*, excuse me while I go take a cold shower.
Short and sweet story between Eric and Sabine. I really enjoyed this novella. I mean, ugh you just gotta love how Eric loves Sabine. It was literally love and first sight for these two, but Sabine fully practices that love 'em and leave 'em voice in her head and tries to run from what her heart feels. Eric was pretty in tune with what his felt from the jump. He wanted a relationship and he wanted her. She basically enchanted him with her free spirit and artistic talents. It was really sweet without being sachrine. Just a nice little love story with an HEA. Enjoyable.
This was the last book of the series and it was truly my favorite! This love story took place in the same universe as the last but the characters were so unique and interesting, and Amelia's descriptions were so vivid, that their universe was really interesting. The love story, character development, and story progression were really rich. This was a great book, even as a stand alone story. I'm so sad the series has ended!
This was by far my favorite book in this series. I couldn't put it down once I started! I found myself rooting for this couple and hoping for their happy ending. I loved the characters, and their story, and how their story fit in with the other books in the series. I really want to go back and re-read the whole series now that I have finished this book to look for things I may have missed in earlier stories. Loved it!
The sweetest was saved for last! Amelia was not afraid to show the true emotional disturbances from life. She included a character that has a past that many people have had and the character had similar thoughts as the people who have experienced that life circumstance Stoneheart has a way of making every single one of her books relatable. Nothing is unbelievable and everything can happen. .
A quick mostly fun read that fits like a puzzle piece into the other books in the series (which I may have to re-read now that I have this section of the big picture). I appreciated that the sexy times didn't skip over consent and contraception.
This was my favorite of the series. I love Sabine and Eric’s love story. Once again, there just wasn’t enough! I really enjoy all the characters and would love more books about their journeys.
This was definitely my favorite in the series. It had the most character development and the best plot arc. If you enjoy a sweet romance you should read this series!
This was easily my favorite book of the entire series! Very sad that the series has come to an end, but this book came full circle and wrapped all 4 stories up perfectly. I loved reading about Eric & Sabine's relationship, and was cheering them on from the very beginning. I felt very connected to these characters, felt the emotions they were feeling all throughout the story. Thanks, Amelia, for another fantastic (and smutty) love story!
Amelia has written yet another steamy, lovely installment in her A Time For Love series. Sabine and Eric (like many of her other characters) are likeable and relatable. Most of all they're believable and realistic. I was so happy to be back in this universe and seeing other charcaters from this universe make a comeback always fills my heart with joy.
Ugh. Amelia's writing and the relationships she woes about make me sick with jealousy (in a good way, I promise)!
This book was Sabine and Eric’s happily ever after! I rooted for their relationship from the beginning and am glad things work out the way they do. This books was my favorite of the series. I am sad the series is over but it was wrapped up very well. I plan to read more of Amelia’s work in the future.
This was the best of the series yet. Sabine has always interested me from the start- hearing about her back story and struggles really spoke to me. I'm loving how the characters are all intertwining and I love getting glimpses of their lives as the stories go on! This is the first one I've gotten emotional during, something about Naomi just touched my soul!
