He wants her, but he has to seduce her. She's his chosen mate, but she's lived in hell for years. Once he helps rescue her, Blaze has to be careful so he won't scare her away.
This is book 2 of this very enjoyable series. The stories are short, but so far each one has been good
Blaze is bummed out that his buddy Roar has found a mate, it's not that he's not happy for him, he doesn't want a mate himself, but he does envy the happiness he sees in his friend and is mate.
Felicity is one of the prisoners in the lab, having been sold to the lab at a very young age, or at least she was told, that her parents died and was sold. She has survived here by remembering the good times she had with them at the farm. Now this new guard has caught her eye and he seems to like her, even gave her a candy bar when he first arrived.
Blaze is going undercover into one of the other labs as a guard. Now that they have information of what goes on in these labs from Roar's mate Treva, it is more imperative than ever that the labs be closed down. Blaze is disgusted by the treatment the girls are given, they are fed once a day and the food is horrible.. They are so emmancipated that they look younger than they are, but he especially takes notice of one girl. He doesn't know why he is so taken by this girl, he only knows he must get her out of here and let her be the best she can be. Hopefully wih him.
Blaze has to go to one of the labs undercover. He really does not like what he sees there. Felicity is one of the prisoners there. He only has to wait a little while for the rest of his team to get there but can not stay away from her. Will she be is one and only? He is not sure but he wants to free everyone on the space station. Loved the book. It is sad and happy at the same time. It has to be hard to write about such bad conditions as found in these books. Ms. Diva does a great job especially when it comes to freeing the people from these conditions.
