I found it difficult to get through the Old Testament section but found the New Testament section very interesting and easier to follow.

Donley's connections and eagerness to prove all the events of the Bible as factual are both facetious and facile. Anyone, in his view, who views the Bible as allegory or morality tale is a "critic." He mistakes out-of-contextual correlation with causation, and he fails to cite his sources throughout his claims. His needless argument against Darwin, for instance, is found in a single statement in the Gospels by Jesus that suggests that Jesus believed in Adam and Eve; therefore . . . .

This was a wonderful companion to my daily Bible reading. It offered up some wonderful points of interest but it is really just a tease. I have so many books I want to follow up on now that I have read this. It really gets your Bible History juices flowing.
