OK, so I really enjoyed this very fast read. Unfortunately for me it was too fast and the ending was barely a HFN.... I was like wth, huh, what just happened, lol. Too bad because I liked both characters and wished the storyline had more meat and potatoes in it. I also would have liked to know if they end up together too?????
Ya, it was a short read with no real ending for me and that just doesn't jive with me, lol.

I have not read anything by this author before and found this book to be fun, flirty and steamy.
Hailey and her sorority sisters have been planning on getting matching tattoos but with only one problem she seems to pass out whenever the needle comes close to her, when Vic Steele says he isn’t going to do anymore she is distressed but never one to give up she makes a vow that she will be there every day until he finishes her tattoo but is Hailey really just wanting a tattoo or could there be another reason she is hanging out with the infamous Vic Steele.
Vic Steele is known in town as a player but his tattoos are renowned for the ultimate in art, so when Hailey walks in his attraction to her takes him by surprise and there is no way any of the other artists are touching her beautiful skin but after she passes out on him for the second time he knows he is done but when she threatens to haunt him every day until he finishes what he started he is shocked to discover he can’t wait for the next time she walks through the door. Hailey is under his skin and he knows he wants her there. Can he convince her that she is different and what he wants with her is something real not just a night of fun but a future together?
Would have loved this book to be longer and get a better idea of the characters and a longer story but still it was a fun read.
Hailey, Jules and Cassie have come in to get their matching tattoos that they have drawn to Steele Tattoo. Vic is the owner so he quickly gets each girl hooked up. Hailey was my client and all he kept thinking is how she would look in his bedroom. Hailey the two times Vic tried to work on her she passed out and that was the end of that. She is so pissed when she asks him to continue and he refused. Hailey storms out of the shop without looking back. Hailey returns to Vic to have the tattoo finished he blows her off and she tells him off which he was not expecting. Vic asks Hailey to go to dinner with him and they had some good banter. Vic couldn’t believe how much she has gotten under his skin. Will Vic finally be able to finish the tattoo will they sleep together?
These are always the hardest books to write up a review for, the ‘it’s ok” books. Neither character were very memorable. Those ones you intensely dislike are easy to remember and those you love are also easy to remember as both bring out feelings. But neither Vic nor Hailey as much as scratched the surface of my feelings. So it gets an OK grade for an OK book. I see it has some high grades and I’m glad for that as I don’t really like seeing lower grades but I just didn’t ‘feel’ this book like others did.
Wow, I was surprised how easily I slipped into this storyline with warm and welcoming characters waiting for you to take that journey with them. Excellent writing and was a nice comfortable read. I am definitely interested in checking out this author's other books.
I want one of him today tomorrow everyday. Hot tattoo hottie with a dirty mouth that he can back up in his shop or bed. Amy gave a quick hot read in this one.
Okay... I didn't realise that this was such a short story! Sure I liked it, but... That's it? I was kinda expecting a book, not just (almost) a sample... But anyway, good work Amy!
Dnf. I stopped reading when the H was checking out another girl when he was picking up the h at her dorm. No thanks. I dont want to read about a hero that is checking out other girls
