Branna Cooper Quin is everything I want in a man, and nothing I can have. He’s tattooed, fierce, and sexy as hell. And when he tells me I belong to him, I believe him. But being with me is dangerous. If my family finds out, they’ll kill him. From the way he touches me, I don’t think he cares. Cooper When I decided to rent out a room in my apartment, I never expected the raven-haired vixen who showed up at my door. From the moment Branna O’Sullivan walked into my apartment—and my life—all I want to do is protect her. To touch her. But Branna’s family lives by a set of rules. If we break them, there’ll be hell to pay. Good thing I’ve never been one to follow the rules. Now her family—the Irish mafia—is coming for us. But what they don’t know is now she’s mine. And that makes her untouchable. **Untouchable is a standalone full-length romance novel with an HEA, no cheating or cliffhangers. It was previously published under a different title in a two-book series, and has been extensively rewritten and expanded in this second edition to be better and hotter than ever.

Amazon bestselling author Ava Ashley may look like the girl next door, but her steamy romances reveal a very naughty side. Raised in small town Ohio and now living in Homer, Alaska it’s amazing that she hasn’t increased the average temperature in her area of the state with her steamy writing. And she loves reading new adult romance novels as much as she enjoys writing them.

Ava likes spending time outdoors and does a lot of hiking and cycling with her husband and four children. When she can get away on her own, she’ll often take pen and paper along, find a secluded spot and let the environment inspire her. Of course, that inspiration frequently results in characters tearing each other’s clothes off, but you would expect nothing less from a romance writer.

This is my first book by Ava Ashley and I loved it. You really what this couple to make it. Cooper is the man everyone wants or wishes they had.
Branna is a strong woman who wants to live her own life. Together they take on the mafia and with his quick wit they get out of some sticky situations.

Drama and romance.

I received an ARC and I voluntarily reviewed.

Mafia. Love. MMA fighter.

This story has a little of everything. Branna is the Irish mafia princess and offered to Alexei the son of the Russian mafia boss. This arranged marriage was a truce to unite the families from further bloodshed. Like all long engagements things happen. Branna walks in on her fiancé with someone else. She runs from her old life and tries to start new. Then she answers an ad for a roommate and meets Cooper. Starting a new life with secrets is not easy especially when the person you want is a hot sexy MMA fighter. Back alley deals are made. Bloodshed lost.

I was gifted a copy of this book from the author. Definitely an enjoyable read. A little over the top in some areas but hey, it's fiction.

Don't waste your time

Warning: This review contains spoilers. This book really pissed me off. It started out ok in the beginning and had a lot of promise. But after the first few chapters Branna just became an annoying idiot. The writing was rushed and didn't make sense. For example in one pathetic sex scene it starts off with him putting on a condom and then somehow towards the end of the scene she could "feel herself filled with his warm seed squirting deep into her"...how? How can you feel that with a condom on dummy! It's so annoying when authors don't pay attention to detail. Then there's Branna in general. The girl is a childish brat. I loved how independent she seemed but before long you realize she's just a confused child trying to act like she's not. I liked Cooper for the most part. He turned into a bit of a sap for Branna but whatever...that's kinda to be expected in these types of books. But goodness gracious. In one scene Branna wakes up after sleeping with Cooper for the first time. The girl literally opened her eyes and turned around and he wasn't in the bed and you would've thought he shitted on the bed and left a hate note. Woe is me and the world is ending and I should have known better and he doesn't want me he only used me and blah blah blah. 3 minutes later Cooper walks in with breakfast for them both. Not to mention he could've been in the bathroom! He's been hanging around you and shit for like a month just spending quality time and being a great guy...but the second you wake up and don't see him for 5 minutes he's a horrible guy and he used you. Grow the hell up. Then later on Cooper gets a text from some chick who apparently sent him a naked pic and once again...Woe is me. I'm just a notch in his bedpost and he's sleeping with other people and blah blah. I got so sick of her. I mean I can seriously go on and on but I don't want to completely spoil it for anyone who wants to give this book a shot. But do so at your own risk. I would say if you enjoy mediocre (at best) sex scenes, bratty childish annoying female leads and a rushed, very overdramatic and kind of weak plot then go for it. Otherwise don't waste your time.

Branna answered an ad for a tiny little apartment to share the rent with a roommate. Having been promised to a Russian mob boss’s son to seal an alliance with her father’s Irish mob, she never expected to find him in a compromising situation with his ex-girlfriend! That was totally unacceptable! So she ran and chose to go into hiding rather than be forced into a marriage with him. Now, with no job and dwindling money, she was competing with two others to become a roommate and share expenses in a poor area of town. Taking charge, she brushed aside the other two and handed over her half of the rent!

Cooper sizes her situation up pretty fast. He sees how uncomfortable Branna was in the introduction when she apparently by accident gave her real first name to him. She carries herself like she came from wealth at one time. She has only a backpack to move into the apartment. And she’s willing to move in with a complete stranger. She’s definitely running from something, is a survivor, and is likely to bring trouble into his life.

The Russian and Irish mobs are now mistrustful of each other, the Russians thinking the O’Sullivans are going back on their promise to give Branna in marriage to Alexei. An all-out war could break out if this is not resolved. And what will Branna do when she finds out that her ex-fiancé, Alexei, is fighting in the same fight league as Cooper! She is sure to be identified! And Cooper’s life could be jeopardized!

Wow, this was a fantastic story! Cooper was an amazing person who really had his life together. The way he and Branna got along so well and met the needs of the other worked so well. The story line was great and moved along at a comfortable pace, keeping the reader engaged in the expectation of what might happen and the surprises along the way. I truly recommend this book! It was wonderful from start to finish and I am so glad that I read this one!

I was given the privilege of receiving an ARC from Ava Ashley. This was a really good book. I couldn't put it down and my daughter was always fighting me to use my tablet, so it took me a little longer than normal. Who doesn't like a sexy man willing to fight for what he wants! Add in the twist and turns and you have an amazingly book that will keep you guessing.

Branna is the daughter of Kyran O'Sullivan, Irish mafia boss, and is promised to Alexei, son of the Russian mafia boss, to keep a blood feud war from breaking between the families. At the age of 19, Branna is on the run from both families. She doesn't want to marry Alexie and does everything possible to keep that from happening. Even renting out an apartment room and trying to keep her distance from the sexy man who sets every cell inside her on fire.

Cooper is a trained MMA fighter. After being injured oversees, being discharged, and being dumped by the woman he loves Cooper likes to train/fight hard and play hard as well. Having a different girl lined up for different nights of the week. When the beautiful and mysterious Branna walks into his apartment, Coopers world is turned upside down. He tries to fight his attraction for her, but then decides he has to know more about her than he wants to fight her.

Once they stop fighting their attraction to each other, Branna's old life starts to invade her the new life she's trying to keep hidden. After running as far as possible the mafia's are closing in on her and Cooper (by association), but they can't fight the love they have for each other. Will their love be enough for them both to survive the mafia or will they lose one another and themselves in the name of love and freedom?

Freeflow review below.

There were too many times that I paused from reading and thought to myself "This is dumb." It happened so many times, I can't justify bumping it up to 3 stars. However, this book did have me curious and hooked enough to continue and finish and see how the problem would be resolved. I still don't know how I feel about the resolution. I didn't hate it, something just felt a little too neat about it.

I think another round or two of editing would probably have helped. I didn't particularly like that the first introduction to the heroine referring to another woman was so... ick. I could see the effort made later to give her a female friend and show her interacting like a normal human being. So this book technically passes the Bechdel-Wallace test. Given the situation of the heroine, it makes sense that she doesn't interact with a lot of people, but something still felt lacking. Perhaps more thorough memories of the past to add depth to her relationships with her family.

The hero is an alpha male, but I didn't find myself irritated by those tendencies here as I can be often when reading Kristen Ashley. He wasn't a misogynist the way many of the other men in her life are. He still had issues though, but I think those are realistic for this type of character.

I am realizing that I think my main problem was flow. I'm reading a few books of different genres currently, and the others don't *feel* like there was a checklist to go through.

I did appreciate the subtlety of certain plot points threaded throughout the book.

I'm currently torn on whether I'll read another book by this author. Perhaps if a synopsis pops. The ideas are there, but there is definitely work to be done writing/editing wise.

This is an amazing story! Branna O'Sullivan is the Irish Mob's princess. She has run away from her arranged marriage to Alexei, the prince of the Russian Bratva. She caught him in bed with his ex- and she doesn't want to marry that cheating scumbag. She doesn't even love him. However, their marriage has been agreed upon as a settlement to the bloody war since she was a child. But she just can't make herself do it, so she has run away. She's disappeared to the other side of town where the two mafia families have no reason to look or be around. She answers an ad listing a room for rent. It is perfect for her, but she is in competition for the apartment with two other people. After the tour, she wants to move in and gets to. Her roommate is none other than Cooper "Cobra" Quin, an MMA fighter. He immediately wants to protect her. They grow closer over the next few weeks, hanging out together, making each other meals, and walking Branna's co-worker's cousin's dog. Remember, she is in hiding. Just as things get more interesting, she realizes that her intended is fighting in the same league as her roommate. She fears being caught, so she flees again. Loads of things happen and situations come to a head. What will happen next? Does Branna have any control over her life? Will Cooper still be in it? Will she have to marry Alexei?

This is the first book I have read of Ava Ashley. This was a really good book. This is a MMA/Mafia book. Oh, and there might be some Ink in there as well.

Branna is a Irish Mafia princess. She has been promised to the son of the Russian Mafia. since she was 8 years old. To me that is pretty sad. Her chances of falling in love was out the window. All they carried was joining the two family.

Cooper has so many walls built up around his heart. He has come so far. From a son of traitor trash, to a guy that was in the military, a guy that had his heart broken by the girl loved, to now a fighter in the MMA. He never had planned loving every again.

Branna is on the run. She did not have time for friends or a relationship. As a mafia princess she is required to keep her virginity in tack. If she does not it could cost her her life.

Things will get heated between Cooper and Branna. They are now roommates and Cooper can not get her out of his mind. These two will start to fall for each other and Cooper will do what ever it takes to keep her safe. The problem is Cooper does not realize who she really is, can Cooer take on the Mafia?

This was great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow. Just wow. I loved this book. This is the first book I've read by this author but it won't be the last. She's amazing! The story rolls out at such a pace that you get to know the characters and understand them; it's not rushed. The sexual tension really builds between Branna and Cooper as she tries so hard to stay away from him while she lives in the same apartment. You can feel her agony, poor thing. She finally finds someone she cares for but if she gives in she puts him in mortal danger. How'd you like that hanging over your head. Branna is an Irish mafia daughter who supposed to marry Bratva son when she turns 18. But she catches him in bed with his 'girlfriend' and she runs away, refusing to go through with the marriage. She finds a cheap room to rent in Southie with a gorgeous young guy named Cooper Quinn, and begins her incognito life. Will Branna be able to stay under the radar from the mafia who is searching for her? Will she be able to stay strong against Cooper's relentless seductive pull? Their chemistry is off the charts hot. What does their future hold, if they even have one? Such an amazingly complex story. I couldn't put it down!

Branna is an Irish mob princess promised to a Russian Bratva prince since she was eight years old to hold a truce between the two mobs. She catches him having sex with an ex-girlfriend. This pushes Branna into running away. She meets Cooper when she goes to look at an apartment. She takes the room. The chemistry between them was high. This book contains, lots of suspense, twist and turns, romance, and hot sex scenes. Both of them had reasons not to get involved with each other. This book goes into their relationship. They had to fight their own feelings, and the mobs to find their HEA. Ava wrote this books so well that I was afraid that there wasn't going to be a happy ending. I highly recommend this book. I couldn't put it down. I would love to see a movie made of this book. Ava fleshed out her characters so well that I could feel everything that was going on. I was give an ARC copy to read and give my honest review.

Branna is a runaway bride. She won't be used to bring peace between the Russian Bratva and the Irish syndicate. She wants a man who loves her. Escape isn't easy. When she rents a room from Cooper, a MMA fighter, she fights their chemistry. After all he's a player. Can Branna break free and find love? The characters are well written and easy to care for. Both have experienced heartbreak and loss. Branna is a fiery woman who wants freedom to live her dreams. I cheered as she stood up for herself. Cooper hides behind a tough facade. After all he's a champion MMA fighter. He is a fierce protector of those he cares about. I was amazed at how tender and sweet he was with Branna. Their relationship was special. I wanted them to be together forever. I just wasn't sure they could break free from such dangerous adversaries. This is an exciting story that pulled me in and kept me reading. Ava Ashley did a great job with Untouchable.

Sexy and Action packed!!!

This book was incredible!!! So action packed and sexy all wrapped into one! I was seriously blown away with how much I enjoyed this book!
Branna is a mafia princess but once she catches her fiancé.. She runs away. She wasn't expecting to find Cooper but fate stepped in and the attraction was instant. Branna was smart, strong and determined. She knew what was at stake but wouldn't back down and gave into temptation anyway. She was prepared to fight for her love and do anything possible including going against the family. Cooper and Branna were incredible together! I mean Cooper put his life on the line to prove himself and his love for Branna. I loved that we got povs, I think it made me love both characters even more. This was different take then I normally read but I must say this book captivated me and I couldn't put it down!!! I'd definitely recommend this book!!

It was just..... meh. Same basic story told a hundred times with like one twist.
None of these characters grabbed you. I found myself just skimming through the book, only really pausing about three times.
The plot was kind of interesting, but from the blurb it would seem like more was going on then really was. This blurb talks about the mobs & MMA but literally the whole book all you read about is their relationship. Don’t get me wrong, I love a nice romance but I just expected more. Also it was kind of insta-love and egos and a lot of just unrealistic mush, etc. I wasn’t that impressed with their relationship.
The hero was just the same boring alpha male and the heroine had times of being ok, otherwise she was just whatever too.
Also, there weren’t great side characters? The book was so focused on getting these two together we really didn’t see much from anyone else.
Like said. It’s just whatever to me.
2.5/5 Stars.

Upon reading the reviews from other readers from the ARC groups I have this to say. This book is a HEA. There are only a small handful of books that are HEAs but I have to read the reviews to double check. The way Untouchable is written you really aren't 100% sure what will actually happen next. Turn after turn. Books that are written where you don't know what's gonna home are the best. I love it when I get scared that it might not actually be a HEA so I go into the reviews to double check, because I don't want to fall in love with characters as a couple but then they don't stay together. MMA fighter book aren't my favorite cup of tea however how Ava wrote this version I just might try again. Thank you so much Ava Ashley for a beautiful piece of art.

Branna is a Princess of the Irish Mafia in Boston. She is running away from an arranged marriage to the son of the Russian Mafia. Branna needs cheap housing in an area far away from her home. So she answers an ad to be a roommate with Cooper, a MMA fighter. There is an instant attraction between the two but Cooper considers her off limits due to his past experience with heart break. Branna has secrets that could get Cooper killed and ignite a war between the Irish & Russian mobs. So each fight the temptation to reach out....for a time. When they do give into their desires for one another, life becomes complicated and dangerous for the couple. It also makes for an exciting, suspenseful reading adventure. Unexpected twists both further entangle the situation but also create a solution. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.

Branna is on the run from an arranged marriage to bring peace to the feud between the Irish Mafia and their arch rivals, the Russian Mafia. Promised to Alexei since she was 8 years old, she has kept her innocence as part of the requirements of the peace deal... until she accidentally chances on Alexei sexing up his bimbo "ex." Searching for cheaper accommodation, she sees Cooper's notice for a small room, no A/C but super cheap rent. Being the least offensive of his prospective roommates, Branna wins the room. Cooper aka "Cobra" is the hottest MMA fighter around, with women's panties disintegrating on sight. With a regular harem of casual lays, he is the walking definition of manwhore, but something about Branna's sassy beauty captivates him. Loads of action and fantastic chemistry between the unlikely and star-crossed lovers!

This book kept me turning the pages for hours. It is somewhat of a long book, but I never lost interest in the characters or the storyline.

There was plenty of steam and drama. I didn't expect the twist towards the end with Branna's brother! Of course Cooper had to fight for the woman he loves…what a fight!

I loved reading a book with such a strong heroine. She was determined to survive on her own and wasn't afraid of hard work. She had the "it is what it is" attitude and dealt with the hand life dealt her.

Cooper understood Branna's need for independence but still wanted to help and protect her. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to control every aspect of her life just because he was alpha. He loved the fact that he'd met his match.

I can't wait to see what Ava Ashley releases next!

This story kept me on the edge of my seat. The writing was so good that I felt as though I was part of the action, and it was totally an action packed story. The chemistry between them was totally off the charts, but was weaved in such a way that it propelled the reader to want more of the story. Even the supporting characters were such that they enhanced the storyline, and was even crucial to their happy ending. There were so many twists and turns that I couldn't put it down until I read each and every word until the end. I volunteered to read this great story and received an ARC in order to do so. This is my first time reading something from this author, but it will not be my last. This is a must read if you like hot MMA fighters, Mafia stories, and hot and steamy romance. Enjoy! I know I did.

Branna is the daughter of the Irish mafia boss and she has been promised to Alexei the son of the Russian mafia boss as a child in order to ensure peace between the families. When she finds out something about her fiancée she ends up on the run from everyone and trying to stay undiscovered.

Cooper is a MMA fighter and due to his past has no interests in relationships and lives by his philosophy of one and done.

When Branna enters his life to rent a room in his apartment they are instantly attracted to each other. They try to hide this attraction by disagreeing about everything but they are unable to avoid acting on their feelings. They grow closer but when Branna’s past resurfaces will they be able to escape with their lives? I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

This was an enjoyable read. Cooper and Branna have a great connection. From the start, even being young, on the run and scared either the Irish or Russian mafia would find her (her father agreed that she would marry the Russian boss' son), she had enough backbone to sass Cooper and keep him on his toes. He figures out pretty quickly that she is hiding something and is determined to unravel the mystery.
This story had all the elements, love, hate, anger, sadness, nervousness, intrigue, drama, and of course steamy scenes, to keep you enthralled and turning pages. There were a couple parts that dragged a little for me, and, without giving anything away, I had questions about some of Branna's actions/thoughts, otherwise it would have been a five.

MMA champion meets his perfect match in an Irish Mafia princess. Branna just wants to blend in, be her own woman and get away from the life she's always known, including an arranged marriage to the son of the Bratva's leader that has to take place in order to keep their peace treaty. When she answered the paper ad looking for a roommate, she never expected to meet Cooper, MMA champion and the one who would put her resolve to the test and might get her barriers down. Both carrying excess baggage will put their relationship to the test while giving the readers a great and unforgettable book. This is my first book by Ava Ashley and I'm totally looking her up. She grabbed me completely and I absolutely loved all the elements that she managed to bring and mix in just one book: mafia, MMA, tattoos, military, virgin; all the themes that grab my attention whenever I'm looking for my next read.

This book is totally not what I expected. I received this book from a friend's recommendation, and of course, didn't read the blurb, because you never know what you'll find. A mafia princess runs away from her life, but honestly not very far, because she doesn't want to marry the cheating jerk she's been engaged to her whole life. Pretty much what you'd expect to happen does, but there are a few surprises that were quite nice to see in this book, and the story flowed and read very well. Whenever I'd get stuck on a part of the story, I did put it away and go back to it, and I found myself getting more into the story then if I would have just sat through in one sitting to read it. It made me appreciate this story more, and I often found myself going back and re-reading prior sections and getting a better appreciation of the story.

This is my first Ava Ashley reading experience and it was great. I love mafia romances and this is no disappointment. This isn't your typical girls falls for mafia bad boy. This story is about a girl trying to find a life and love outside her family's expectation no lifestyle. Branna is an amazing character. She's beautiful, brave, strong, a little niece at times but amazingly intelligent at others. Cooper is a MMA fighting hottie with a heart of gold that has been shattered beyond repair, or has it? He and Branna meet when she goes to his apartment looking to rent the room Cooper advertised. Their story is breath taking and at times heartbreaking. I can't wait to read more of Ava's books.

Branna O'Sullivan is on the run from an arranged marriage to solidify her father's Irish mafia to the Russian's. She takes a room with Cooper Quin, also known as 'Cobra' in the mma fighting leagues. The attraction is immediate, but she knows there can never be anything between them for safety's sake. She is still promised to Alexei and knows it means death for anyone who gets in the way.

Cooper doesn't know her background and knows she's hiding from something, but he isn't about to let anything stand in his way once he decides she might be the one.

I very much enjoyed the story and character dynamic. Not sure of the full on mafia accuracies, but am A-okay with that.

Branna, daughter of the leader of the Irish mob is promised to marry Alexei, the son of the Russian mob leader when she turned eighteen. When she caught Alexei in bed with his ex, she decided that she didn’t want any part of this pact and ran. Cooper, a retired veteran, and up-and-coming MMA fighter is looking for a roommate. Branna looks at the room and snags it from the other two applicants. Branna and Cooper are attracted to each other but Branna can’t get involved because if her family finds her, anyone she’s involved with would be in danger. But they can’t keep away from each other. As they grow closer, Branna has to decide if being with Cooper is worth the risk.

I think this is one of the hottest reads I have read this year! it's action packed and full of sext alpha males and one Badass chick that's not willing to follow the path chosen for her. Brianna was promised to marry Alexei. Thus was to bring the Bratva and O'Sullivan syndicate a truce. But Branna couldnt follow through and ran away. She meets Cooper while viewing his apartment. They feel this instant lust and try to fight but it's impossible. They are magnetic and when she runs he hunts her done. He doesnt want to lose her and will die to keep her. Mafia romances are my all time fave. Ava Ashley did a fantastic job with Untouchable. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.

Brannah has pretty much been set for her life when she was promised in marriage to Alexei as a token for peace between his father's Irish mafia and the Russians. She has saved herself for him but when she finds him in a very compromising position she runs away. War is sure to unfold between the mafias but all she cares about is her freedom. Her life turns upside down when she meets pretty boy Cooper. He is gonna change her world! Exciting story, with different plots and twists. I loved that she was not the pampered princess but with dreams of her own and strength to carry them on. Cooper is such a fighter in and out of the ring. It's quite romantic.

A great story that had me hooked from the first page! My first mafia romance and it set the bar high for future mafia romances!

I love Branna & Cooper! Branna is a strong woman who knows what she wants. Cooper has what he considers to be a perfect life, but doesn't know what he is missing until Branna. Both main characters have pasts that don't want to stay in the past.

I love the twists and turns of this book that kept me hooked!

This is my first book that I have read by Ava Ashley and I loved it! I can't wait to read more by Ava!

Branna's on the run from an arranged marriage to a cheating d-bag, and she finds herself running right into Cooper's arms. He just needs a reliable roommate, but he can't deny the magnetic pull he feels for Branna. They have to take on almost the entire world just to stay alive. This is a steamy, action-filled romance with mafia ties and an alpha hero who is downright swoon-worthy. Throughout all the drama and conflict they find a way to embrace their love for each other as they bust through all the obstacles to their HEA. This was an exciting, captivating read and I highly recommend it. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
