Ryan Michele continues her popular Ravage series with Ryker & Austyn. Austyn has loved Ryker since she was a girl. Ryker being 10 years older treats her just as she is, his brothers daughter / little sister. Fast forward 12 years and tragedy strikes Austyn. Ryker realizes that Austyn is the one he can't live without. Ryker doesn't give up on Austyn ever. He continuously proves his love and devotion. Ryker is so patient and caring. Together they build a strong and lasting relationship just like Austyn's parents Cruz & Princess. As a reader, not only do I love the relationship between these two characters, but I connected with the side story of Ryker's family. I would love to learn more about his siblings. As always I love getting to spend time with the Ravage MC. Seeing how their family has grown and where they are in the future. On a side note, I wish the villain would have suffered a lot more...call me bloodthirsty! LOL

Austyn and Ryker's story is a powerful one. They are both fighters, they are both survivors.
My heart broke for Austyn. I understand how hard it is for someone who went through what she did to pick up the pieces and to not only love herself but let herself be loved. I am glad she was able to let love in even if he had to use a sledgehammer to break down her walls. Ryker was the perfect man for the job, the only man who could help her see she was stronger then she thought she was, that she deserved to be loved and free from secrets that torment her soul.
Ryker also survived his own troubled past but he is grateful for it because it brought him to his family, his home, the Ravage MC. And through his family he was able to find love and know true happiness.

First Impressions
Bound By Vengeance was a story that I knew would be a rough road, considering what the heroine we know has gone through from the previous installment, so I also knew that there was a chance that this book would also contain aspects that I would struggle with. I admit that I really struggle with a certain element in the story (which I will go in further depth to so if you don't want that spoiled skip the review), but what made it work was that the author really fleshed it out in a way that for the most part made sense. It also has some fun pining elements, her family coming to support her and a road to vengeance against those that wronged her. I also loved getting back to the Ravage MC. Its such a fun MC series for sure.

Summary
In this story, we have our heroine, Augstyn, who lost her child and was sexually assaulted, and she is full of secrets and pain and her family is determined to get her free of the past so that she can move on. But Austyn is full of pain, regret and sorrow in a way that no one can fully understand. But now she is on the road to vengeance against the man that raped her and put her on this road of self hate. Austyn has been in love with Ryker for many years, but he has never seen the woman. But now she nows she is dirty and ruined for Ryker and could never be good enough. but Ryker is determined to show Austyn that she is worth loving no matter what it takes.
What I Loved
There are many elements to this story that I did enjoy. I really loved the unrequited love and the relationship building aspects to this story. There is something about a pining heroine I love. I know most romance readers prefer the hero pining, but honestly, that is way common, so I tend to go after the heroines that ache and yearn for their men in such a honest way. There is something about reading a MC romance that keeps the heart so raw and full of edge. What we see in the Bound By Vengeance novel is a story of redemption, healing and most of all raw pain and guilt. Its a story that isn't easy to read. What I really appreciated was the way that the author really fleshes out these feelings about what the heroine does. About her healing process and learning to accept the mistakes that she has made and learn to live with those mistakes. Its definitely not an easy road for her, and we see her work through the trauma but also her own sins and how Ryker assists her in cleaning out those wounds and learning to live with herself. And its not an easy road for Austyn, and we definitely see a side to abortion that is rarely focused on. How the psychological effects of such a decision has on the woman. Society may be all about pro abortion, but it never talks about how it affects the person that makes that decision. Ryan Michele really handled this aspect well. I am not a supporter of having abortion in romance, so I admit I struggled, but I do feel like this author really focused on it well and showcased the emotional and mental harm it can cause as well. Most authors that place this aspect in a romance never flesh it out in this way, and I appreciated this author in willing to handle it in this story.
What I Struggled With
Well its pretty obvious, but the biggest component of the story that I had a hard time with was the abortion. The heroine is raped, and has an abortion. To be honest its never even explained why she even really did it. I do wish that had been answered, as it would have answered some questions. That was my biggest issue and also I personally just don't think abortion should even be in a romance. But while I had issues with this, and I almost DNF this book because of it, I stuck with it, because I had a feeling that the author was writing it in for a reason and I appreciated what was delivered in this story.
Narration
This narration was awful!! Especially the narrator who did the male POV. I wish it had been done by Joe Arden, but it most definitely wasn't Joe Arden, which was disappointing. Its why I have been doing these books in audio haha What really rubbed me the wrong way, was the male narrator and how he handled the female dialogue, it just made me cringe so bad. The female narrator did a solid job though.
Overall View
Bound by Vengeance was a heart felt story that tackled some very difficult issues with delicacy, its a story of healing and working through the process of guilt and grief in such a relative way.

I am normally a fan of Ryan Michele's MC books. They are easy and enjoyable reads. However this installment was just okay for me. Despite being a little bit disappointed I am still looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Bound by Vengeance was the third book in the Ravage MC Bound series by Ryan Michele. The series was a spinoff of the Ravage MC.
Austyn Cruz was the daughter of Princess and Cruz, the President of the Ravage MC. We learned in Bound by Desire that Austyn was a victim of violence. Some of it her family was aware, but some was still a secret. She lived in turmoil and agony every day. As a result, she accepted she wouldn't find love and was destined to be alone. She crushed on Ryker her whole life but he never showed interest until now, but it was too little too late.
Ryker James was a patched member of the Ravage MC. He was ten years older than Austyn and had been biding his time claiming her. When tragedy struck, it was time, but it wouldn't be an easy journey.
Bound by Vengeance was told in a dual POV and it was a dark story. In addition to the relationship building between Austyn and Ryker, the main storyline focused on them finding Austyn's perpetrator, who had gone ghost. A secondary story was also built involving a cult.
The Bound series are the offspring from the original series and I love the characters, interactions, family bond and suspenseful plots that have been consistent in every book.
It looks like Emery'a story may be next - regardless there are still several Ravage offspring to explore. I can't wait to see where Michele takes us.

I absolutely adore Ryan Michele’s Ravage MC series, especially the Bound series. I love the fact that we are getting the children of the characters we have previously read and loved stories. This book is book three of the Ravage MC Bound series and cant be read as a standalone as all the books kind of overlap in ways. To get the full effect of each story they need to be read in order.
In Bound By Desire we learn some things about Austyn but when we get into Bound By Vengeance we learn so much more. She has been through some horrific things and is struggling to overcome them. My heart broke for Austyn and the traumatic things she has suffered at the hands of a monster. There were a few times I wanted to tell her to wise up a little bit overall I felt a connection with her and my heart broke for her. Austin proved time and again that she was Princess’s daughter with her pure strength and determination. Even when things kept beating her down and slowly breaking her she fought it all and came out swinging the way her mother taught her.
Ryker has been known as a manwhore since he joined the MC over ten years ago. He always knew Austyn had a thing for him but never felt like the time was right to pursue something with the fiesty daughter of his president. Ryker shocked me if I’m honest, he was tasked with being her bodyguard after she moves out again. He realised how much she meant to him and was trying his best to work his way into her life. I came to adore Ryker so much in this book, he put Austyn and her feelings above his own and while there were times he had to be highhanded he tried to do things her way so she would be comfortable.
This story was such a heartbreaking yet beautiful watching the relationship between Austin and Ryker develop. Ryan touches on some really sensitive subjects in her storylines but she does so with tact!
I have to admit while I did love Austyn and Ryker I don’t think they could top Deke and Rylie. They have kept their spot as my favourite couple for the minute.
I cant wait for the next Bound book in the series, I’m dying to get Emery’s book and find out if she ends up with the dick Micah or the delectable Jacks!!

Ryker has some smooth moves on him, “bodyguard duty. But then Cruz told me it was your body I was guarding, and I was all over it.” His eyes grow dark with desire in a way I used to dream about. “The straw suddenly didn’t seem so short.” Ryker is a man who takes what he wants, "...I take Austyn to hers and press her back against the door, our lips never disconnecting. “I’m effin’ you against the door, so you’d better be quiet or Emery will hear.” I missed this series and it's characters and I'm so excited for the next book but Ryker was one patient man had to give him props for that. I really loved this book.

Bound by Vengeance, is book 3 in the spin off Ravage MC Bound Series. In this book we follow the heartbreaking story of Austyn Cruz as she tries to battle her inner demons and get her revenge she so justly deserves.
I am totally in love with all things Ravage MC. I am just so glad that we are now able to continue the journey with these rough and ready bikers through the trials and tribulations of their children. Ryan is an amazing story teller. Her words are meant to resonate deep within your soul and they do. Her stories pull you in, captivate your attention form the first page and can leave you in pieces but you will only want more.
We were introduced to Austyn and Ryker way back at the end of Captivate Me with the extended epilogue and from that point I just knew I would want to read their story. Austyn has a monster crush on the young prospect that only gets stronger as she grows up. Unfortunately for Austyn this is an unrequited love, until it is too late.
We then learn about the devastating things that happen to Austyn in Bound by Desire when she seeks out Deke. This girl has an iron will and a core of pure steel to still be standing, but then she is Princess' daughter and being tough is in her nature. Ryan touches on some pretty gritty and sensitive subjects, and Ryker's past to me was most surprising.
This book is a must read, and I strongly recommend that you read this series in order to get the full effect of the stories and the Ravage MC family.

Ryan Michele def numbers as one of my fave authors. she is a great storyteller and brings her characters to life in dangerous and engaging stories. romance and family reign true even amid heartache and despair. even though this series is about the younger generation which sometimes emphasizes the naivety of the female leads, i have still found great enjoyment in these works. i love the quality of the writing while still maintaining the speech patterns & roughness of character and lifestyle encompassed by this genre.

I liked that this book brought an end to a character who deserved it and she got to do it not be the damsel in destress she got the right closure that she deserved and the love that she is deserved this series is amazing

I absolutely loved Austyns story. It's emotional, heart breaking but at the same time heart warming. It's a story about getting knocked down and finding the strength to get back up and carry on.
If you've read the previous books in this series then you'll have already met Austyn and know a little of her back story. If you haven't, don't panic because you get all the details in this book so you won't be missing anything. Austyns has a bad time of it lately. Determined to get her life back to normal, on the outside it looks likes she's moving on. Mentally and emotionally though she's still stuck. I loved Austyn. My heart went out to her but it was her determination that made me really like her. While she's trying to deal with her past, the man she's loved forever suddenly thrusts himself into her life. Poor Austyn is adamant she's going to keep him at arms length but Ryker has other ideas.
Ryker has known for years that Austyn has had feelings for him but her age has been holding him back. That all changes when Austyn starts to stand on her own two feet when she moves out. With her still been in danger, Ryker takes it upon himself to be the one to protect her. Spending so much time together helps him to slowly gain her trust. Ryker is everything!!! His past isn't all sunshine and rainbows but he's more concerned with helping Austyn than anything else. He's single minded in his determination to win her over.
This book has it all. There's action, danger, secrets, revenge and an unbelievably sweet, sexy romance between two troubled characters that are really easy to love. This is definitely, without a doubt my favourite book so far in this series. I adored every single word and can't recommend it enough.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has revenge, suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Austyn and Ryker‘s story. In her life Austyn has suffered but no matter what life throws at her she comes out fighting. Even when people want to break her she fights to not be so broken. But how much can one person take? Ryker is in the MC and has been for some time. He has feeling things for Austyn but there is so much going on he never takes a chance. Will they ever get a chance to try together or will the outside world make sure that never happens? Lots of suspense and emotions in this story. It will keep you turning the pages. Ryan knows just how to pull you in and keep you hooked. This couple has a ton to overcome can they, do it? Or was trying all just a waste?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. You don’t have to read the Ravage MC series that came before this but I highly recommend doing so as that is where all this started and you will get so much more background on the families in the MC.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Ryan knows just how to pull you in and keep you hooked. This couple has a ton to overcome can they, do it? Or was trying all just a waste?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. You don’t have to read the Ravage MC series that came before this but I highly recommend doing so as that is where all this started and you will get so much more background on the families in the MC.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Bound By Vengeance had my emotions all over the place. It can take the love of a strong person to heal all the scars, both the ones you see and can’t see, to get you to live again. Sometimes we survive horrible things done to us but surviving doesn’t equal living.
Austyn was doing just that but she finally was ready to start taking her life back. But there is a reason why she is doing what she is doing. Vengeance. I understood why she needed it; I felt it deep into my soul, that darkness that overcomes you when you have been wronged like she was and the only way back into the light was getting vengeance. Ryker was the one person she had loved for years, but when he makes his interest known she throws up walls so strong that you wonder if you will ever event make a scratch trying to bring them down. Ryker wanted Austyn, but he knew after what she went through that he needed to go slow, work for her love and trust. I really loved him and his strength, he completes Austyn.
I think it must be said that I am loving this series even more than the original one. I can’t wait to continue reading about the other kids and new characters we are introduced to. Ryan Michele is an author that you need to check out if you haven’t already.

Ryker has been hiding from his attraction to Austyn and he is known for his escapades with the ladies,flaunting them in front of her and treating Austyn like a sister probably just to annoy her.
Until he starts to see her differently when she goes through a trauma and the thought of her dying or being hurt gutted him....and now he is assigned to protect her.
After being through something that will stay with her and change her forever Austyn decides to stop lusting after Ryker and begins to ignore him.
I loved this story Austyn made Ryker work for getting back into her affections,and I loved that Ryker didn't give up and persisted trying to start off as friends.
One thing about Ryan Michele she isn't afraid to deal with hard hitting subjects and her characters always have a lot of drama and baggage that they have to deal with.
Austyn and Ryker were no different...but one thing always stand out and that is The Ravage MC is a family and they always have eachother backs.
Thoroughly enjoyed it.

You won't be able to peel yourself from this book once you start reading it! You will be engrossed in the suspense while falling in love with the characters.

Austyn and Ryker both have troubled pasts that they need to overcome, but their passionate love story is one that comes from support healing and trust.
I love that Austyn finally gets the man she's been deeply in love with for years and that Ryker who is a few years older than Austyn always noticed her and waited until they could be together to tell her so. I know Ryker is all Alpha and possessive but who wouldn't fall in love with Ryker when he whispers sayings to you like "Beautiful, loving you is how I breathe" *SWOON*

Austyn is our lead female in this release. And yes .. Ryker. The bad boy waiting to take what is his.
Austyn gave us some glimpses in to her horrific ordeal suffered at the hands of a mad man. The family knows some of her trauma but no one knows it all. Feeling as if she deserves very little and probably nothing, Austyn struggles to fight the demons within.
Ryker has been waiting - looking for the right time. But Austyn is withdrawn and she is the Prez's daughter. Proving himself may serve difficult as there are black and dark places to light up.
This was another fantastic love story. My heart - woah - poor Austyn. I wanted her to be stronger but her ordeal took its toll. Ryan once again has gifted us with keeping up with the MC and all the characters we love. Amazing - heart tormenting - beautiful.

Honestly, I don't know where to start. I'm struggling. It was sensitive story with what Austyn been through. Austyn was a fighter, but... She was beaten down and broken. Thinking she lost her chance at her dreams and that she will be submerged in dirt for the rest of her life. Lucky for her, someone didn't let her to drown.
I love Ryker. He was always there for Austyn. No matter how much she tried to push him away, Ryker never gave up on her. He made Austyn to laugh and enjoy life again. Ryker made her to live instead of just exist.
And yes, Austyns monster is dealt with in this book. But not before he done some more damage. Like what he already did wasn't enough.
Though, I didn't loved this book as much as previous one, Bound by Vengeance was good addition to Ravage series. I'm looking forward for next ride.

Just as I suspected I loved this book. I loved catching up with the boys, or rather men that I fell in love with from Ravage MC; and now seeing their kids all grown up, just perfect. This story had everything I love about MC books, strong stubborn females, sexy alpha males, heart stopping storylines and bucket loads of emotion. The emotional journey that Austyn took me on was one heck of a ride, seriously my heart ached for her, but she did give me a few smiles too! I loved Ryker, his determination to get through to Austyn and his softer side when dealing with his sisters was refreshing and made him so much more than just the sexy alpha male that he was.
This story was packed full of angst; I was immersed in all things Ryker and Austyn and couldn’t put my kindle down. I love all things Ravage and can’t wait for more in this series.

This is the third book in the Ravage MC: Bound series by Ryan Michele. I skipped Deke’s book because I thought he was a dickhead in the first one and I was a little lost but I managed. Again I’m gonna mention Ryan’s love of the letter Y is very annoying. It looks stupid and my spellcheck doesn’t like it either. Austyn Cruz is the only daughter of Donovan and Princess (Harlow) Cruz, she has a twin brother, Nox, and an older brother, Cooper. Her dad Cruz, is the President of the Ravage MC and both of her brothers are members. She’s a hairdresser and she’s worked at Do or Dye Salon for the past year and a half. Three and a half months ago something horrible happened to Austyn and she’s returning to work for the first time since then. Emery is her cousin and also her best friend and the two of them have found an apartment together. Now Austyn just has to break the news to her parents who have been hovering over her ever since her attack. Ryker grew up in a fucked up family where his dad was married to his mom and his aunt and a few other women. When he dared question his father he was kicked out of the house at the age of fourteen. He spent a lot of time living on the streets and doing what was necessary to survive. One night he met GT and Dagger in a bar and the way they talked about Ravage MC he knew he wanted to be a part of them. Ravage became the family he never had and he would do anything for any one of them. The club has been trying to locate the man who hurt Austyn but he’s gone to ground and no one can locate him. Austyn wants to find him so she can kill him before he’s able to tell anyone the other horrible thing he did to her that no one knows about. She’s always had a crush on Ryker but now she thinks of herself as tainted and only has room for revenge in her heart. Ryker is determined to show her that he loves her no matter what has happened to her.

I couldn't put this book down. Ryan Michele did an amazing job on this story. The book is well written. Bound by Vengeance has a great story plot. The story is filled with emotions. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Austyn and Ryker are great strong characters. Austyn has been in love with Ryker for years. Ryker has always had a soft spot for Austyn, he's kept his distance, but he's there if she needed anything. Ryker and Austyn both have been through a lot. This is a fantastic story. I recommend reading. Ryker and Austyn are perfect together. The chemistry between them is off the charts sexy. Ryker and Austyn are sweet together. They made a great pair. This is a great story. After reading Bound By desire I couldn't wait to get my hands on Ryker and Austyn story I highly suggest that you read ravage MC Bound book #2 before reading this even though it can be read as a standalone you will better understand what is happening and enjoy it even more and while you are at it read every one of Ryan Micheles books you will not regret it . The characters are really likable and on top of that we get a great story line that will have you hooked till the very end and leave you wanting more . Austyn and Ryker are a really lovable couple they mesh well and lets not forget the sexual tension between those two just wow . Ryker surprised me but it shouldn't be surprising that I fell hard for a Ryan Michele reformed man whore tattooed hero because he is sooooo swoon worthy the things he does for the heroine , the club , and his siblings plus this man knows what to do in the bedroom screaming orgasm any one . Oh my gosh Austyn just wow after everything she has been through and thought of herself it's amazing she kept it together as long as she did but with a mom who is the definition of cool , a father who'd do anything in his power to keep her safe , and brothers who are fiercely protective , cousins who are her confidants , and a club that is her family she had love / protection but she wanted to be the one to get her revenge before that bad guy could hurt her again and the ones she loves she becomes very resourceful with the little information her family taught her it was so AWESOME . Can't wait for the next book in the series and to read any future projects the author comes out with .

This book was a great addition to this series. Honestly, probably my favorite out of the 3 so far!
You have a great alpha male, without overdoing it, paired with a strong, yet damaged, female lead who can handle her own. She carries a huge burden on her shoulders, and she needs a strong man who can handle her dark secrets and not run, but who will only help make her stronger, and I think she's found her match.
The author definitely has a knack for writing catchy, gritty, dirty, but lovable MC books, and this one is no exception. Great read, addicting really, and I highly recommend. I don't recommend this as a standalone, as it should be read in order with the rest of this series.

Oh my gosh!!! Ms. Michele has really outdone herself with this book. I absolutely love Austyn and Ryker's story. Austyn has been in love with Ryker since he joined the Ravage family, but him being a decade older hasn't given Austyn the time of day. That all changes when Austyn is held captive by a mad man again. What her family doesn't know that it's not the first time being held captive by this man. Ryker appoints himself as Austyn's bodyguard and has an uphill battle for a place in Austyn's heart and bed. Will Austyn be destroyed by her quest for vengeance?
This book is about love and acceptance. I highly recommend this book, but strongly caution to read them in order.

Wow, just wow. It never fails all of Ryan's books give me all the feels. This one seriously pulled at my heartstrings. The things that Austyn went through is absolutely heartbreaking. I love that Ryker never gave up on her, he brought life back into her. I have loved each and every book this woman writes, I'm never disappointed. Read this book.

Its possible Ryker and Austyn may be my favorite new Ravage couple! I love the way he was always behind her, there for when she needed it, even when she didnt think she did. I felt so connected to bothe characters. The book pulls you in, and you are just so wrapped up in the storyline
