Karen wants to get married but Jerry, her boyfriend of six years, doesn’t seem to be interested in proposing any time soon. He seems to have grown so used to her that he no longer has any desire to take the relationship to the next level. Karen is determined to get him to react and so she tries to give him multiple hints but he doesn’t understand any of them. Most of her hints are hilarious and ridiculous and instead of wanting to marry her, they cause Jerry to wonder whether he’s making a mistake with the relationship. Karen grows increasingly more frustrated as she keeps expecting him to propose, but instead they drift apart until their relationship seems to be on the verge of a break up. Karen’s best friend happens to be the one offering the worst advice and just complicating everything with her old-fashioned ideas and beliefs.
I really liked the dystopian ones. So many sheeple, it was good to read something by someone who knows. Wow, I can imagine all the fun this writer must be having now in the tRump era. Lol, yikes...
