Rate this book
Tethered to a restrictive life on her half-brother’s estate, Lady Isabella Rossland tries her best to find her own happiness. With the dreary gentlemen nearby not appealing to her restless spirit, she’s left with few escape options. Then, a man she’s known for years catches her attention, and she’s intrigued. What could make a man so aloof act so unexpectedly? It seems there is more to Lord Starsen than the person he presents to society. Marcus Hera, Earl of Starsen, vows to lead a calm existence, due to a fiery tragedy during his reckless youth where he suffered permanent injuries. As such, he wants a dutiful wife to complement his life. When his path crosses unexpectedly with the impetuous Lady Isabella, he’s shocked to find himself drawn to her. He resists his undeniable attraction to her, choosing duty over the confusing emotions she’s wrought in him. Realizing Marcus has a spirit that matches her own, Isabella makes her intentions known, only to discover he has made a promise to another. Not one to easily give up, Isabella must convince him she is the right woman for him. With his impending betrothal approaching, time is running out. Has she pierced his barriers and won his heart, or is she too late?

Isabella Rossland is the half sister of Henry, the Earl of Midcliffe. Marcus Hera is the Earl of Starsen and his land shares a boundary with Midcliffe's.
There is intrigue, danger and a murderer or two. The characters are funny, confused and seem so real, you can feel them slowly growing closer as the time progresses . The plot is amazing and grabs from the first sentence. There are many bits and pieces to this tale and they all come together into a cohesive and well timed story. There are also some very interesting surprises, it can be intense in spots but that makes it all the better. The author has done an excellent job of presenting you with a book, that's definitely worth reading. I found it delightful, from where she swims in the pond and meets Lord Starsen for the first time to the very end of the book.

Ensnaring Lord Starsen
Jenn Langston

This is book 3 in the Touched By Fire Series. If you have not read book 1 Embracing the Knight or book 2 Enslaving the Day fear not these can easily be read as standalones. Although they can all be read alone you will truly LOVE the entire series.

Book 3 following the life of three childhood friends scarred for life by a horrific accident in their youth.
Lady Isabella thought Marcus was boring and stuck up for years but now wants to know more about the man she has grown to love.
Marcus never thought of Isabella as anyone other than his sisters friend (married to one of his childhood friends). One who he always thought as wild and unruly. Now he sees more and is fighting both his head and his heart.

Ensnaring Lord Starsen is so far my favorite of the series. With each one I think I've read the best BUT they just keep getting better!
The love story about Lady Isabella Rossland and Marcus Hera – Earl of Starsen.
A story of two slightly damaged souls trying to find a way to their own happy ending. One determined to win the other and the other trying to make what they feel is the right decision work. Fire playing with fire trying not to get burned in the process.

If you have read the others in the series then trust me you will fall in love deeper than with the other books. If you have not read them then what are you waiting for? Seriousely! What?
I found Jenn Langston by accident and I will follow her career and fall in love with all her writing. It was the best decision I could have made by following her.
I know you probably want more information on the story line but I really don't like spoilers so I have a hard time giving any out.
****I was provided a copy of this book for an honest review and could not be happier!****
I look forward to many more books from this lovely Author

Uncaged Review: The third book in the touched by fire series which can also be read as a standalone book. This story features Marcus and his attempt to not fall for his sister’s best friend. This book had a lot of twists and turns I didn’t expect to happen, also a lot of romance and action. Perfect for any history romance readers. I can’t wait to see what happens in book four of the series. Reviewed by Jennifer

The plot was intriguing and the author Made a very good job of creatina suspence up to the climax moment.

The story to ok unforseable but reasonable twists.

The MC were lovely together so well matched and the H did not spend too much time complaining about his disability.

I am immediately off to the last book of the series!
