mmm like a 3.4 hah i dont want to give it 4 stars

this took me a while to read lol yum cramming

- uh content was pretty interesting i guess so theres that. definitely a very broad simplification of psychology and objectively, i guess it served as a good introduction to the field for anyone who's interested?
- writing had So Much fluff despite how much they emphasize the importance of concise writing lol
- different authors for different chapters and it really showed! some sections flowed super well and matched my reading style, and there were other sections where i was like uh.
- so many skydiving pics??? and irrelevant pictures with the context of the chapter lol
- some of the stuff they said was so questionable??? like ok just talk about the Amish you didnt need to add in a line about how they reject conventional practices like using electricity lol thats so irrelevant to the point you're trying to make? and other random sentences about colonization that make me a lil hmmmm
- formatting was okay i guess but sometimes not the clearest
- learned some cool terms and fun facts and theories so i guess it was a worthwhile read lol
- disappointed that there wasn't a section for dream psych so i could learn how to analyze my dreams heh

I forgot this was on my reading list lol. But loved it! Always loved reading about psychology so I learned a lot :-)
