This new poetry collection by Indian poet Saurabh Pant is a vivid piece of work. His writing covers natural disasters, the exploitation of the planet, human greed, the lack of respect for Mother Nature and much more.

Priya Verma again provides the cartoons in this superb ebook.

The topics concern each and every one of us. Why? We all live on Planet Earth and each disaster or problem touches lives. The message here is a positive one but the poetry is dark. As world leaders build new cities, more is needed. Will thy listen?

Together we must care for our world, it's the only one we have got...

"Save nature to Live, otherwise there is no Future to visualise..." - poet Saurabh Pant begins this book of 72 poems.  This collection of poems sings the problems we are facing in the present times, which again are is the reason of the mistakes we (human) has been doing. While reading the book I was remembering the words of my convent's mother superior 'Nature can satisfy human need but not human greed' and what we are facing today is because of that - Our Greed.

While reading this revolutionary collection we will feel like the poems are Nature's pain sung by Mother Nature. The words in these poems are very bold and deep. My favourite ones are - Burnt faces, Snow without life, Torturing nature, Lost homes, Sea's victims and Reading the warming.

This book is a collection of poetries that revolves around the Environmental issues and awareness. It covers the topics such as destruction of forests, heating temperature, ice melting in glaciers, increase in sea level etc.

The topics chosen by Author is absolutely great. We need more content on topics like such. Although the book could use a bit more of editing. And i really liked the illustrations given in the book but they could use a bit more clearity.

Do check out this book. It does have a good content.

🍁 Warming Boom is a collection of poetries......

🍁 Main focus of the poem is on the environment issues related to glacier melting, global warming, deforestation etc..,

🍁 The poem has no. of concept about the environment which people should be aware off. Each concepts have 3-4 long poetries with sketches. The poems are quite long.....

🍁 The author has given his point of view about the environment for which we all have to agree coz they are true....

🍁 The cover and name of the book could have been better. Overall the poetries are good but bit boring due to their length I guess. But perfect for those who want to educate themselves more about the environment issues.....

When we hear the word Nature, we imagine Trees, river, mountains, greenary, co-existance, and so on.
But nowadays the concept of Nature itself is fading away.
The times have come where we must consider ourself lucky because we had idea what Nature looked like but sadly if the present exploitation on Nature continues, the future generation will never get to witness the beauty of Nature & might end up imagining Buildings, Smoke, Plastics, etc.
To save the Nature, awareness is not a single day task but it must be practiced daily basis.
To bring a change, a Good book is all we need.

"Warming Boom" by Saurabh Pant is a masterpiece work which has penned down all we need to know about what's happening around us i.e Nature.
The book is not just a collection of poems but beginning of every part has information about the Concepts relating to Nature & poems are based on that particular Concept with a proper illustration.
The poems are thought provoking that tries to convey about the Exploitation on Forest, Animals, Trees, & how this destruction will affecting us and still how worse the things might turn in near future.
I appreciate this work because Author has not only expressed but made an effort to bring the reality.
Poems like Killing the Forest, Desert Everywhere, Madman, Burst of Cries hit me hard and they are indeed sensitive.

I have read few books on Nature, but somewhere they lacked the connectivity but Warming Boom completely changed my opinion.
After reading this book, I feel such books must be provided/donated by our Government to Youth for bringing Awareness.
People might plant a tree on occassion but nourishing a plant is possible only when a person understand the essence of it.
The language is lucid.
Kudos to the Author for bringing such strong image & message.
Overall it was the best book on Nature I ever read till now.
Strongly recommended to every single person.

"The earth will not continue to offer its harvest, except with faithful stewardship. We cannot say we love the land and then take steps to destroy it for use by our future generations."~ John Paul II

📗This book is a collection of 72 poems which depict author's concern towards Our Origin "The Earth". We all are victims of environmental issues like deadly pollution, increased earth's temperature and population issues. We all are aware of global warming and how it's affecting and damaging our environment. But do we actually do anything to protect our planet?? Do we really care of what's happening around us or we just behave as spectators to everything??

📗 Author has penned every dangers that we humans are causing to the earth in his poems. He has expressed an immediate work of effort and dedication from us as a human community to work towards the benefit of our nature. We all know that we and our environment are interlinked and if we become the cause of its downfall then it will be us at the sufferer's end.

📗 Author has explained the concept of what actually happens when there is a issue like population expansion and what we can do to control it. There are some cartoons as well in the book which aptly define some of the concerns that author has mentioned.

📗 This book is for everyone as each and every individual has to know the problems that our Earth is dealing and how we have to play our part in protecting it. It's the need of the hour as they say.
📗Some of the lines from my favourite poem "No more resources" are ->

'Groups find a cause to build uniquely designed models,
Their culture mainly recognised due to natural resources!!
Heat has finally started to crack out the patient figure of the past decades,
The global challenge will rise soon when there will be no more resources"

📗My rating 5/5

“Poetry is ordinary language raised to the Nth power. Poetry is boned with ideas, nerved and blooded with emotions, all held together by the delicate, tough skin of words.”

This book offered me an enormous range of poems showcasing a wide spectrum of emotions. After few poems, a pencil sketch is displayed which, further enhances the richness of this book. I would like to appreciate the effort of the artist in bringing life to this series of poetry.
Some of the poems voiced out a concern, a concern so grave that it engrossed me in deep thinking. Through this book, a strong message is conveyed, and that is slowly we are walking towards our own destruction. ‘Inching threat’ and ‘Killing forest’ are the two most preciously crafted poems that would shake your roots. Most of the poems are represented in such a way; it almost felt that the lush green forest is screaming in the cries of despair. The personification was so beautifully penned down that one can’t help but feel overwhelmed by emotions.

In recent years, global warming is increasing at a tremendous rate due to our own sets of actions. This eventually led to the melting of ice-berg and occurring many other problems. The author did a splendid job while voicing out yet another matter of concern through his sets of poems. ‘Cries of white snow’ and ‘Fear of Whiteness’ are among my favorites.
Our planet is suffering, and its cries are entrapped within the pages of this book. The sets of poems were quite refreshing. Most of the poems that revolve around nature naturally display its enthralling beauty. But this book, my dear readers is offering you a reality check. I did miss connection while reading few poems. Some poems were difficult for me to comprehend. But overall, I really appreciate the hard work of the author. It was truly a pleasure to read some of your works.

Nature is the most precious and valuable gift to us from the God to live our life here on the earth. Nature makes our life easy by providing all the required resources for daily living.
We should thankful to our nature for helping, caring and nurturing us like a mother.
But nowadays we are being the greedy children of this Mother Earth who are just robbing her, Destroying the beauty & creating imbalance in our Eco-system.

"Warming Boom" is a collection of poems that create awareness among the readers regarding the need to save Mother Earth.
The Author conveys that the destruction that we are causing is not just harmful to the nature but we would have to bear the consequences of this act.
The Author has made the research on the theme of the poems.
The command over language is honestly appreciated.
The paintings do connect a lot. .
Most of us might consider Nature as Non-living entity, but the Author through his powerful words generates a life in everything that has surrounded us & the readers would start feeling that destroying the nature would be equal to destroying a living being.

The Poems are Deep & the message is worth reading.
One can surely change his/her ignorance towards Nature.
Everyone wants a beautiful future but not everyone wishes to design it but here the Authors calls us to build a better future by preserving the Nature.
The cover design could have been better.
The book is acts as a social message & we must promote it as a social service & for the sake of society.
The poems were unique & at their best, & this is definitely one of the best collection i came across.
It takes us on a emotional journey as we get connected with our Mother Nature.
Overall it was really a good read.

For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver. -Martin Luther King Jr.

As it is said there is a limit to everything, a threshold of tolerance which when crossed everyone and everything retaliates in their defences.
Nature is something which has been providing us for centuries and now it's threshold of tolerance has been crossed.

Man is the biggest animal of all because it's not driven by its need but only by its greed, the author in this beautiful book tried to show everything we humans are doing to the mother nature just because we desire more than what we need.

It is a collection of 72 Poems in which the author explained every minimal harm caused by us and the dangers of much other stuff we are doing.
Global warming increasing, the population on the boom, glaciers melting these are all our doing, the author talks about them and what can we do to stop them.

If we continue on our path of nature destruction it is us who will be doomed and how we should turn ourselves around and start preserving what is given to us as our own selves.

I really appreciate the author for doing such fine work.
This book is for each and every one of us cause this need to be stopped and for that, we need to realise it at the earliest.

Only the cover of the book could have been more thought-provoking, everything else is
Pretty commendable.

Highly Recommended!!

Warming boom is the explanation & a caveat to the human species to protect the most precious thing: nature. It is a poetry collection with different angles of observing the devastation & to be responsible for that.
There is a dilemma that we are really reckless. We only talk about the environment but not act on the cord. We can appreciate the saving nature venture but only a few want to work on the field.
So warming boom is a warning & the silent cries of nature with serious concerns.
It consists of the banishing of forests, the hazards of such destruction, the global warming & problem arose due to the increase in temperature, human's endless greed to acquire the land & putting the environment on the verge. The result of this devastation is more dangerous. It is said that what we do, comes to us equally & we can see the results every decade as global pandemics. So it causes natural deceases, lack of resources & natural habitat.
So there is a lot to concern about the harms that we are delivering to nature.
As far as the writing style is concerned, it is a little bit weak. It is totally my opinion that in poetry formation we should avoid explanation & can wrap up some major facts in less. But in this book, some topics are a little bit overwritten & create some prose-like structure.
Poetries are rhythmic & good at the point of the message they want to deliver.
Overall it is a light read for me.

This is an immensely thought provoking read. Mostly such environmental issues stay confined to EVS books, but here the author has chosen to put forth such issues through his poems in a bold manner, which is commendable. The book is divided into a number of sections which talks about different topics such as deforestation, global warming, melting of glaciers, rise of sea level, natural diseases, population explosion and others. Each section starts with an introduction about the concerned issue followed by a number of poems. The book will put a mirror before you to reflect how humans are destroying natural resources to satisfy their desire and in due course heading towards self destruction. Human greed takes over reasoning and that leads them to mercilessly destroy what has nurtured them all the while. The book gives a strong message and shows us how dreadful the consequences can be.

The theme of the book really good and the concept of each poem is beautiful. The language seemed a little difficult for me but it brought out the message of the poems with great vividity. The picturesque descriptions made me feel as if I'm watching a documentary on environmental issues. The design and illustrations could have been much better though. That is the only thing lacking in this book.

Overall I believe this is really a thought provoking bold read and an excellent piece of work.

Warming boom is yet again another added feather to saurabhs book collection.
The book is a collection of poetry. The peculiarities being the cover very simple but the content inside roams various contemplations and nature.

Some of the poems talking about nature and some of them some ways of saving nature.

It is the 20th century and the world is as it burning and nature is dwindling. We as humans almost always forget about nature and what keeps happening to it over time.

Each poem starts with an illustration from Priya verma. Most are pencil illustrations.
Most of the poems do follow a meter and some don't as well.

Human's denial of our nature demolishing slowly.
The poet has spoken about mountains, glaciers, rising heat and even the ocean.

Before the poems start there are little concepts where the poet has explained his view and a little about the topic.

The topics don't just end on nature but also go to population , biodiversity and disasters and warning signs of the environment.

I liked reading the poems and knowing so much more about the poets view and mine as well which kept me at a different light and made me think about other perspectives to those topics as well.

The poems aren't very simple but you do have to be keen when you are reading them as in you will learn alot of new words.

A good read with more insights about environment.

It took me a lot of time to start the actual book because there were so many things in it that grabbed my attention before the poems of the book. At the first glance, I saw the acknowledgment section which was quite big in comparison to other books. And the next thing was the illustrations that were used throughout the pages which were hand made and were very attractive.

After that, I started reading the book and got to know the main theme of it. The poems were based on different topics related to climate change and environment issue and some other human generated issues that impact us in a negative way. The author first talks about the concept and then the bunch of poems on the same concept.

Now talking about the poems. They were very straightforward but effective. I liked some of them but when we talk about the technicalities (I am not the expert of it but have read quite a few), the poems do feel a bit off. They don't follow a certain pattern but had the depth that felt good to the reader and were worthy to think upon.

Now the language, there were few mistakes but overall it was good.

The book cover was impressive as was handmade and suited the overall theme.
I liked the overall package of the book and is recommended to the readers who want to read something innovative, in terms of poetry.

Just for luxury, comfort and flexibility, human beings have stooped so low. We are a part of this natural environment ,but our actions barely prove that.
This book 'Warming Bloom' is a collection of poems. The title is apt. Each and every poem will hit your conscience and leave you repenting over your deeds and actions.
With every smash between the forests and your mind, you will understand how does one's wrong deeds glows the rise if global warming. I loved how it was stated that killing the forests won't help us in anyway.
Yes,I strongly agree. The rope of our existence is connected to the end of the mother Earth. Once the knot is broken ,we are vanished. Vanished like dinosaurs.
I appreciate the poet for giving life to the natural environment through the poems. Because in reality, they are losing their lives. And we are to be blamed for that.
One day, when there will be no forests for us to chop their heads off, shall we realize the valuable loss?
Before we say, "It's too late.", grab the book, let the words hit your conscience for a while and then we shall all work together to preserve our mother Earth.
.
I'd have loved more if the pictures were coloured. And the book cover could have been more eye-catching.

Warming Boom

I read this poetry book, in PDF format.
This poetry book is based on global warming issues. God created a good pleasant nature. But human being makes it polluted for his own fulfilment of needs.

Now whatever is going on, some disastrous viruses, the author thinks they are man-made. From the writer's point of view, man is fully responsible for this pandemic
Disease covid19 and I agree on this.

The author says that where, the speed at which man is destroying forests Killing animals, polluting rivers, There will be such terrible diseases form.

Author writing this book in 10 beautiful chapters. Each chapter has 5 poems.
1) Forests Banishing in the World
2)Heating Temperature
3)Ice Melting in Glaciers
4)Increase in Sea level
5)Manmade Issues damaging Environment
6)Natural Diseases
7)Population Explosion in Global Countries
8)Slaughter Affects Biodiversity

10)Virtual Reality of Warming Boom

This is the titles of the chapter, I like all the poems. I wish if we had such type of poetry book for environment subject in school.

I found bit hard words in stanzas, but it made the poems deeply meaningful. Very beautiful poetry book, recommend to the poetry readers and nature lovers.

Most of the poetry books that we read these days are based on one central idea Love. But this book is different in every aspect from other books with the fact that the author has used the very integral part of today's world, The Earth and the way humans are deteriorating it for their selfish needs.

This book is a collection of poems which focuses mainly on the health of the planet and the problems that a man is creating which not only affects the natural vegetation but also human life.

There are poems about natural disasters, depletion of the ozone layer, animal slaughtering, exploitation of the planet, respect for the mother nature etc. All the poems are simple and unique in their own way. The poems have a lot of emotions into it and it creates a sense of social responsibility and accountability in every person.

These poems give a warning about our own actions which are done either for greed or for fun and the effects it could have on our lives. It throws light on the ways through which human beings are destroying mother nature. The poems are written in a simple language and most of it is like prose rather than poetry style.

I loved the book and I recommend everyone to give it a read at least once.

Poems mentioned in the book shows us about the mother Earth and various parts of her. We humans are destroying it and for our greed we have gone so far that we even don't care for the forest, environment and many more. Due to it various things are happening like forest fires, increase in temperature, disasters, global warming and much more. Poems written in the book shows the pain we have given along with how it is affecting us.

Book is beautiful collection of poems based on various things happening around us. It shows us in a very amazing way how we have gone far resulting in destruction. First, why the poems based on particular topic is used is shown in detail explaining why the author has written poems based on it. Then beautiful poems are written showing about environment and various problems we are facing now.

I like the poems based on heating temperature. It shows us what humans have done to the forest using the resources and damaging the forest lead to the increase in temperature of Earth. Some beautiful picture are also present which explains things happening in a very amazing manner. Poem touches the heart and shows many things about nature.

Book : Warming Boom
Author : Saurabh Pant.

Review :
Mostly all of us are taught about Nature while we were kids. The benefits and affects of Nature.
Now a days we are so much into the corporate and concrete world that we forget that Nature does exists.
I am thankful to the Author for writing such a great piece on Nature and alarming the youth that if we don't take proper care many things are happening and in near future our generation would not be knowing anything about Nature.

Below given topics are covered in the book. Each topic has 5 poems which speaks exactly on the affects on humans. There are 50 poems widely mentioning the details.

Heating Temperature
Ice Melting in Glaciers
Increase in Sea level
Manmade Issues damaging Environment
Natural Diseases
Population Explosion in Global Countries
Slaughter Affects Biodiversity
Threats Through Disasters
Virtual Reality of Warming Boom.

Good book but as mentioned it is called poems but I they are not poems can be called as chapters. It is lacking rhyme scheme but yes I would really appreciate his work for writing on Nature.
Truly this book is an eye opener and it's high time that we understand over this and take quick steps to save our Mother Earth and Nature.
Not by just learning into books but actually bringing it into effect.

Warming Boom

by Saurabh Pant

This delightful poetry book is more of a warm welcome to the world of the author with creative expressions and honest essence. The author lets his thoughts penned down with the collective memories of happiness and uncertainties. The book is a kind of aspiration one seeks in the poetry and when one delves into it, the poems become relevant to the aspects of Mother Nature.

The poems have a vibrant and fresh outlook on the various colours of human endeavours.

Given the fact, the poems are not metaphoric in approach and direct in narration with a free flowing sequence of rhyme. At some places, the poems doesn't land into the ending of expectations but are still admirable in its core. ⁣

⁣Variety of intricate topics and unusual metaphorical contrast become an accustomed feat of the poet. He encompasses very unique comparisons in order to coat his poems with a layer of relevance.

Nonetheless, the book is a very light and heartwarming read throughtout!⁣

The book is recommended for those who prefer soft writing style with the flow of rhyme and reason of experiences!

Nature has been an inspiration for numerous poets, writers, artists,we can say this book is a reflection of that.
Nature is an important and integral part of mankind. It is one of the greatest blessings for human life, nowadays humans. Essentially, nature is everything we are surrounded by like the water we drink, the air we breathe, the sun we soak in, the birds we hear chirping, the moon we gaze at and more. But at some point we forget that and use nature for our own greed. Author has beautifully penned about
pollution,global warming,
Our limited resources etc in his 72 poems.
I love the writing style, the selection of words and the beautiful cartoon illustrations. The book cover is a hand made picture which I really loved. The title of the book can't be better than this. Whenever we help other we always expect something in return. But does the mohter earth ask anything in return even after offering us so many things? As it is truly said human beings are the most selfish creatures on earth. We use nature and its products without thinking of the harmful consequences we return in the natural and environmental factors. We only enjoy its benefits and do not care at all when it comes to nurturing and protecting our Mother Earth.
The book conveys the same through a collection of poems. The poem include important topics like natural disasters, exploitation and ignorance of people for our Mother Earth.
All the poems are beautifully written and will make you introspect how much do we give mother earth in return for all the precious gifts it provides us.The language is lucid and the poems are effective enough.Kudos to the author for bring up this really needed topic through this book.Well written.

Warming Boom
Author : Saurabh Pant

The book is divided into various areas which discusses various points, for example, deforestation, an Earth-wide temperature boost, ascent of ocean level, common infections and few other topics.
The book will put a mirror before you to reflect how people are destroying natural resources assets to fulfill their longing and at the appropriate time heading towards implosion. That is the main thing ailing in this book.

we have gone so far that we even couldn't care less for the timberland, condition and some more. Because of it different things are going on like increment in temperature, temperature boost and substantially more.
Sonnets written in the book shows the torment we have given alongside how it is influencing us.

The beautiful portrayals caused me to feel as though I'm viewing a narrative on natural issues.
The language appeared to be somewhat hard for me i took help for few words to know the meaning of it.

This socially responsible book by Surabh Pant is a gentle reminder to every person to look back and forward; look back inorder to understand what we have done in the name of development and better standard of living and look forward to the hazardous consequences of the same.

The book is a collection of about 50 poems on 10 distinct yet connected concepts that visualise the downfall of nature and thus eventually resulting in the downfall of human kind in the foreseeable future. The poems are much more realistic and not romanticised but moves on with both- warning and hope. The book is intended to create a sense of responsibility in minds of readers which is well executed. The book has some pencil drawings and cartoons for better visualisation. The best part of the book is it's simple language and way of presentation. A good read indeed recommended to all.
Hats off to writer for bringing up such social issues that are need of the hour.

This book is written about real life problems and disasters humans are facing. There are a total of 10 topics covering from "Forest banishing in the world", "natural disaster" to "The virtual reality of warming boom". Each topic contains 5 poems i.e. there are total 50 poems in this book. Every topic revolves around one common thing i.e. "global warming".

My reviews-
This is an very heart touching book. Very few people speak up on these type of topics. The message behind each and every poem is loud and clear. Poems are very beautifully written. No one could deny from any topic. I loved two lines the most "The death cries of human community may be long but it's not bigger than silence in lost forest" and "warming has begun the game of contest for survival". The content in this book is very heavy.Whomsoever reads will think about it again and again. Overall this is an interesting book.

I would recommend this book to everyone.

Warming Boom is written by Saurabh Pant. A very well achieved person he is. He has written many books, based on different themes.

This book contains poems, and all are based on different topics, but the basic theme of them is mother earth, and what we have done to it, over so many years, at the name of development and growth.

He highlights several issues, and urge us, the people, the look around us, to look in past, present and to think what future we have. No doubt, humans have interfered way too much in the process of nature, and uncontrollable destruction has been done.

I loved reading the poems, moreover the drawings that has been provided along with the poems. They are beautiful. Poems have rhythm. The way post has presented his thoughts is pretty impressive. The main idea is very well conveyed, through proper words and figurative styles.
The work done is highly impressive and eye opening.

Recommended.

Warming Boom is a collection of poems by saurabh pant that highlights the mother nature and all the surrounding disasters that are affecting it. These poems have dazzling photographs as a backdrop which takes you on a whimsical journey through Mother Nature. The vivid imagery portrayed in this poem, captures nature and expresses the world around it in a poetic way. I absolutely love this book because it integrates all different aspects of poetry while bringing in the current aspect of nature. Although the poems are short, they are effective, wonderful, and easy to read.

Beautiful book that is the perfect length to get it all in with one good read! Very genius observation over life and not appreciating what nature has to offer, taking the earth for granted. Overall, this collection of poetry is pretty interesting. Easy to read yet packed with different topics and small details, this is sure to pull you into the wonderful world of poetry.
