The Impulse #2
Ordinary Impulse
Meghan Ames is a god - or at least a temporary one.
Too bad she sucks at her job.
It doesn’t help that Lack is determined to mentor her, whether she likes it or not, even if it means calling in the goddess of chaos to stir things up. Things go from bad to worse when Lack makes an enemy of the vindictive god of terror.
When an arsonist hits and suspicion turns to Lack, Meghan’s inability to do her job becomes the least of their worries. As they work to clear Lack’s name, they discover the fires are more than just the work of a disgruntled, former employee. Together Meghan and Lack are forced to navigate the battle for a world on the brink of change, but will they make the right choice, even if it jeopardizes their own futures?
