This is a little book with lots of content. I found so many things to take away from it. For me I know I put my life on hold when I had a few bad times and ended up with my debt repayment plan. I've let it dominate my life in such a negative way and had been thinking about ways to start living again but in ways that can take into account I still have 23 months left to go. Originally I'd thought that maybe I should just put my head down and tough it out for the next 23 months however now after reading this book, I've started thinking of small things I can do to move myself forward so when I hit May 2020 I'm already living my best life and will have one that can only get better.

I found it insightful and thought provoking but not too taxing not patronising as some self help books can be. Instead it's a nice guide to kick start the thinking process of how to love yourself and make the changes to bets do that whether it's through fashion, career, lifestyle and so on.

Really enjoyed this

This book is about finding what you love about yourself, and then focusing on it until you really do love yourself all around. I've read a lot of books about style and about loving yourself, but this sweet book combines the two and has some tried and true tricks for loving yourself in style. I adored reading it and finding that the advice is sound, and the idea is wonderful. Often we focus so much on inner beauty that we forgot that we should let that inner beauty reflect on the outside. If we love what we see in ourselves, then people will too. They are attracted to the outer beauty and by care about ourselves and loving ourselves so that our style is reflected, it invites people in. And then they approach us to find the inner beauty that we have. The book was a quick read and very simple to understand, but it approached everything in a light that I really enjoyed. Shabana has a writing style that is just as sweet and fun as her clothing style. This is a great read and I highly recommend it.
I voluntarily read this book and choose to review it - no part of this review is influenced by another person or party

Loving Yourself in Style guides you through overcoming body issues, lack of confidence and finding your purpose. Encouragement is what Shabana's novel is all about. A lot of what she had to say about society expectations resonated with me. Coming from an "American Dream" background where you're expected to work, marry, have kids, die is something we're brought up to chase. But without that joy for our work, without that confidence and love for ourselves, we can never find a fulfilling life. And everyone knows it's too easy to stay miserable in circumstances you are afraid to change. The hard part is as Shabana coaches, to "fake it" til you believe it. Loved the hopeful message and inspiration in both fashion and life. I definitely took notes and plan to reference the fashion section for creating my own must-have wardrobe mix. Everything you want and need to hear in inspirational non-fiction.

This book is an easy read. It is straight forward and talks about topics that matter in a simplistic way. People who love self development books, will love this one. It is a fun and short read. It took me approximately 2 hours to go through.

I love how the author incorporated her own experiences and advice in the book. While reading some of her experiences, I felt like I could relate to the content. There are some sections of the book, although very logical, I've never thought of it from a different perspective. This has allowed me to reflect on things and how I want to move forward.

This book talks about the importance of passion, change, fashion, fitness, money and emotions and how they all can affect how we, as individuals, think about ourselves. In addition to how we can use them to positively impact our self esteem as well as to gain inner peace, which ultimately leads to us loving ourselves.

Thank you Shabana for publishing this lovely book and I wish you success in your upcoming projects.

Loving Yourself in Style is a short quick read that you can come back to time and time again, it is filled with tips on finding what you love about yourself, and what I loved most was the personal experiences that Shabana included throughout.

The book covers topics relating to your Passion, Creativity, Fashion & Style, Money matters, Health and Emotions – all major factors in loving yourself. Whilst most you have probably read about before, for some reason I was able to reflect on then in a different light, maybe because I am getting older, or in recovery from depression but this quote from the beginning is me all over right now: “If I had just one message to tell the world, it would be to Love Yourself. But loving yourself isn’t that easy. Heck, I didn’t even used to like myself until I realized I have just me, and I need to love me as much as I can.”

This was a quick read and I loved Shabana’s writing style which was easy fun and light-hearted.

I am normally not really into self-help books, so it took me a few days before I opened this book. However, about an hour later I was finished and very pleasantly surprised. This was a brilliant book! I guess the only way I can describe this book would be this: Imagine that one friend who gives you great advise all the time. When you talk with them you always go away feeling better about yourself. If you were to take all those different visits with your friend write it down and compile it, this book would be the result. Author Shabana Feroze gives solid and sound advice on a slew of different topics ranging from budgeting and self-esteem to style. The writing style was easy to read and very calming. I could easily recommend this book to anyone who just wants an afternoon with a friend who has fantastic advice.
I volunteered to review this book and the opinions in it are my own.

A quick page-turner with gorgeous paintings, and honest advice.

Loving Yourself in Style was meant to be a quick coffee table book read for young adults and millennials of this era, and it's just that. It's the kind of book that not only touches upon the basic advice of loving yourself but also how to feel good in how you dress and the basics of cleaning out your closet.

There are books out there with 300 pages worth of advice on how to live a better life, but Loving Yourself in Style did it in just 70 pages or less. I like to think that that's the right way to go when it comes to self-help. It's written in a simple and direct tone that tells you exactly what it wants to tell you rather than to use multiple adjectives to describe their purpose. Which fits perfectly with my standard of a quick read.

Loving Yourself in Style was a great page turner and is what every millennial should pick up to get a little bit of a boost in their daily lives.

It's quite natural to be hit low and stuck in a bit of rut these days. That is when I stumbled upon Shabana's debut book 'Loving Yourself in Style' and my! How it has changed my perception of what I see around, and more importantly, what I see in myself! She talks about the one thing that is so important, yet so forgotten and overlooked upon - To Love Yourself. And to BE YOU! That truly is the best advice anyone can give. Because who else have you got in the end, apart from yourself (and probably your dog, but that's a different story altogether)!

A well written, handy, pragmatic and illustrative read, this collection of anecdotes, compiled in the most informative, yet simplified manner, is a must-read for everyone out there, striving and trying to figure out things in life. It is filled with author's tips and tricks on how she perceived things in her life, that can seem so trivial yet so relatable.

And what better way to make a bookworm go weak in the knees than to provide (along with the book off course) the perfect bookmark, a customized ball point to pen down her thoughts and lastly but not the least, some sticker markers! A very personalized and thoughtful touch, I must say!

I now know I can count my stars in peace, knowing that we have got a sanguine person around, trying to inspire and uplift our lives.

Thank you very much Shabana. It was a simple, quick and a very interesting read, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Kudos once again!

Loving yourself in style is the first book by Shabana Feroze. The book covers many topics including passion, creativity, style, money, fitness and emotions. And combines her experience of discovering herself as she’s followed her dreams whether that up the corporate ladder or in her own business, with her tips on how we learn from her experiences and insights.

I recommend reading the book, although it is short it has powerful messages. Because it is such as quick reach I think it is a book you should keep to hand so you can read it when you are feeling down, doubting yourself or lacking courage.

I loved this book. It had so much useful advice about finding what you love about yourself and living your best life now. The advice is relevant today and will be in the future, so it is a book that can be revisited as needed. A quick and short read, it is not preachy and doesn't ramble!
