Rampo's short stories give me impression such as this:

The 8th volume of this series of manga-adaptation of Edogawa Rampo's short stories is doing okay in my opinion. I love the first story about the creepy doll maker and the little girl, the idea of this story is very charming, but the second story about the 'vampire' and the love triangle among two men and a beautiful widow is just ways too melodramatic to my liking, so 3 stars only.
